Just back from this site. Great views. Friendly staff. There are two toilet blocks a older one and more modern one both very clean and plenty hot water, showers do cost 20p and last for about 2mins plenty time for a shower.
Site is on busy road but during the night very quiet.
Easy walk into strathye great food in pubs and drink.
If you plan to stay here in a tent make sure when booking you ask for electric hook up if you required it as they are limited.
Also I would deffo take midgie net for your face as they are quite bad at certain times.
On the whole a lovely two nights spent here. Would come back.

We did not stay long here, arriving late and moving on the next morning so did not have time to sample all the local delights.
What we saw was very nice and the view south is stunning. The site is neatly laid out with plenty of room around the hardstanding pitches we were on. The instructions were clear and staff helpful.
It was a more lively atmosphere than some of the more remote sites we have used but things calmed down by midnight and it was friendly enough.
No shortage of toilet/shower facilities and the chemical toilet disposal was well sited and easy to use. For 20 pence you get the shortest shower ever; just long enough for the essentials (1-2 minutes). If you have long hair take plenty of 20p pieces!
At £12.50 (without EHU) this was the cheapest site we used during our week in Scotland and represents exceptional value for money.

This was my very first camping experience and I loved it, the camp site was beautiful with stunning scenery. The owners were lovely and very helpful.
The toilet and shower facilities were amazing very clean every time I went to the toilet it had just been washed there was always someone cleaning!
It's a little out of callander but the scenery and site make up for the distance , a 10 minute drive but its worth it.
Great nature trails so peaceful and tranquil.
There are 3 pubs just up the road that serve great food at great prices we received a 10% voucher for the munro inn on arrival so we went there for dinner and were not disappointed the food was lovely so fresh and tasty.
I will definitely be returning to this camp site I cant wait!

I have visited this camping park several times in the past and I was never disappointed. This time was not different. The stay is great thanks to the friendly owners [Richards family]. The 2 toilet blocks are clean and well maintained. The village is near-by and with a hotel and an Inn to cater for all the drinking and eating needs. There is a shop on site which is well stocked and very reasonable. The scenery is breathtaking and if you like walking, the walk along the river to the loch is great, of cource if you you really like walking, the walk all the way to the other side of the loch is fantastic. If you like cycling you can hire a bike from the shop. The run around the loch and back is great and the view is spectacular. There is fishing available in the river by permit. If you like hill climbing you are in the right place. I have visited many campsites but if you are looking for total relaxation look no further

Stopped over 2 nights with a tent on the way north. A large site which needs a bit of landscaping. It had been wet and the potholes in the access road were puddles. Some of the tent area was boggy but there was plenty of dry areas to pitch. Staff were friendly and the shop had everything you would need and was open long hours. The surrounding area was very pleasant with some great, if demanding cycling with an offroad cycle route passing through the village. The village has places to eat but little else. Seemed quiet in the evening but this may have been due to the rain and midges. Be prepared!

Arrived at this site to be greeted by a warden who gave the impression that we were a bother not welcoming at all. The backdrop is stunning but I feel that the owners rely on this alone to attract custom as the roads round the site were in a bad state full of pot holes. The site is full of old unkempt caravans with weeds growing round about them.It reminded me of a grave yard for caravans
On the positive and there are few the shop was well stocked and the new toilet block is clean but at night the lighting is sparse and you have to tread carefully to avoid the holes in the road

Stayed here for 2 nights beginning of August and it was spoiled by all the rain and although there is not much the staff can do about this, I do feel that the tent pitches have too many dips and hollows, as does the road around the site which created a lot of flooded sections (including under our tent).
As others have mentioned the staff are very friendly and the shop is good and well stocked.
The toilet blocks are in good order and well maintained/cleaned.
My main criticisms are that there seems to be a lot of 'seasonal' pitches for caravans and some of these look very tatty and have work vans parked up. I also found the site very noisy as at the time we were there there were groups of schoolkids on outdoor trips who didn't have any respect for others as well as people playing music quite late/drinking and swearing.I did complain one night, nothing was done about it.
There is also a lot of noise from lorries etc. On the road which runs right alongside the site.
The midges were nothing short of horrendous but again that is not a fault of the site, just make sure you are prepared for the onslaught!
On a positive note, there are some nice places to visit roundabout, just a shame the weather has been so poor this year.
One thing I would like to know is why are takeaways so expensive in Scotland? This is the second time we have stayed in the Trossachs/Highlands and each time I am amazed at the difference in prices from the North East of England.

Would like to thank Emma and family for great and friendly stay. Toilets always clean and tidy, the shop is good value for money and stocks all you need, open when needed. Local hotels great meals at great prices. The fishing was better than expected (3lb brown trout). Will be back a lot more, soon. Our kids loved it and didnt want to leave. Thanks you all again.

We stayed here for a one-night stopover on the way from Edinburgh to the Highlands. Really nice, friendly site which appeared to be run by a family, with an extremely well stocked shop open from 8am to 10pm. Apparently you also use the microwaves and freezers here. The shower block was amazing, easily the best one of our tour round Scotland. I guess its very new.
Its an easy 5 minute walk to the village which had at least two pubs / hotel bar which did food and a village shop. We ate in The Inn at Strathyre which was a nice comfortable pub, food ok but not great. There is no pavement on the road to / from the campsite so beware traffic.
We stayed in July and the midges were pretty bad despite liberal application of Skin So Soft! Serves us right for camping near the pretty stream that runs alongside the tent area.

We used Immervoulin as an overnight stop - this was our second visit.
The shop is well stocked and the new shower block is impressive. Didn't have much to do with the staff, though. The site was busy, but surprisingly quiet after 10ppm (and, to be honest, it wasn't that noisy before).
Unfortunately, the road on the site is awful. The site we pitched in was quite rocky and we woke up to find that a number of our neighbours had been flooded out, (the rain was apalling, though). I stepped out into a lake of 2-3 inches of water - I guess the water was draining down the hill and accumulating in the area I was pitched. When I took the tent down, I saw that the pitch I was on was completely submerged in at least 1.5 inches of water - the deepest spot I found was about 3.5 inches (measured on the side of my boot).
To be honest, the weather was so bad that I can't knock the drainage for failing.
I generally prefer the 'feel' of small and simple sites, but Immervoulin was fine for an overnight stop.
