Fabulous ten days spent here. Gorgeous views and sunsets, saw dolphins and seals, fed the donkeys and had fresh free range eggs. Children loved it being on a farm. Made to feel very welcome. Toilets basic but kept very clean. Showers the biggest we have ever seen and we've seen loads in our time! Will definitely go back. Cardigan shops about 5 - minute drive and local produce/farm shops in the area great.

Considering this was our first attempt at camping with our tent and two children, we found this location as a very good starting point. The site itself had all the amenities that we needed to get by such as water, toilets, shower rooms, laundry room which had free fridge / freezer facilities and a place for recycling all of our waste. The views from our tent were excellent and the sunsets were amazing. There were many walks around the site and the farmer is always willing to help you in finding them. We visited Mwnt, Newport, Aberstywth and Cenarth which added to the enjoyment of our trip and took a trip to Dyfed shire farm which the kids loved! Having a 24 Hr Tesco store about 10 mins away was very helpful and the town centre provides other essential requirements. The only downfall of this site was that the weather wasn't at its kindest but then again - Is it ever!

My family spent a week at this site at the end of may and we have already booked to go back in August. We loved it. The views are breath taking and Gordon and Mary made us feel very welcome. When we stayed on site my daughter was never around she was either feeding the donkeys carrots or checking the chickens she seemed never to have enough time in the day she loved it. It is such a relaxing site and very central to everything a couple of miles in either direction and you hit the shops or the beautiful beaches. The toilets and showers are basic but very clean.

The hosts are really friendly and helpful, they really treat you as guests, wanting you to have a good time. The food the sausage, bacon and black pudding they sell for you to cook for your breakfasts is lovely, definitely recommended. The site is on a slight slope so be prepared to slide in your tent. The loos and showers are clean with plenty of hot water. You have to drive if you want to go to the shops or the pub but you can walk to the rocky cove in 5 minutes or to the sandy beach at Mwnt in 20 minutes. We didn’t see dolphins or seals but others did, we found it fascinating watching red kites. The beach at Mwnt is great, clean and safe and sells tea. The waves are great for body boarding and they keep you warm by battering you, can be a little cold when you get out though (it was a cold weekend when we were there). It would be a regular weekend spot for us if it wasn’t so far to drive as it is we will probably look forward to an annual visit.

We arrived here and immediately loved the surrounding area. Fields, sheep, cows, ponds and ducks, not to mention the idyllic views and gorgeous sunsets. Fabulous. The campsite is sited in a large field overlooking Cardigan Bay and the views are superb. If you are lucky you will see the seals sunbathing on the rocks of the farm's own private cove and the dolphins in the bay. Gordon the farmer comes round on his quad bike to see if you need anything and Mary his wife will do anything to help if she can. The toilets and showers are in separate large heated porta cabins, with plenty of room for changing and are kept scrupulously clean. The site is about 10 minutes drive from Cardigan where there are plenty of little shops and a large Tesco. I can't wait to go back !

Difficult access due to miles of single track roads. We were sited in the larges of the fields which had very few hookups. The farmer is very pleasant and friendly. Toilet facilities were very basic and needed updating, although they were cleaned regularly, and there was plenty of hot water. 15 minute walk to clif top but well worth the effort. Transport definitely required for shops.

Visited during the wettest week in August! The site remained well drained and the facilities stayed remarkably clean. All that is said about Gordon is true - he was great - very relaxed, friendly and helpful. He enjoys coming round chatting and making sure you have a good time. You feel like you matter here and are not just a source of income! Electric hookups are round the top edge of the field. They are well spaced out but you can be seriously unsociable if you don't require a hook-up! There is LOADS of space. My impressions - vast green field sloping to the sea, loads of sea, loads of sky, views of Cardigan island. Also saw seals and dolphins - seals in the cove on the campsite and dolphins at Mynt - one of the most gorgeous little bays I've ever seen and fabulous for a day at the beach with kids - unspoilt with just a cup of tea and a loo - perfect! For the odd rainy day(!) you can visit the great little cinema in Conway which has kids films on all day or the butterfly centre nearby. We also visited New Quay which was a lovely place. If the weather had been good, I think we would just have spent every day at Mynt! There is a Tesco about 10 minutes away which also has a cafe for cheap family lunches while you get the shopping. I believe that Gordon has planning permission to build permanent shower block and loos soon and that will make this site even greater.

Absolutely fabulous! Farmer Gordon was a star and my 4 year old daughter loved him. If you like loud music, lots of people, entertainment, shops or anything slightly commercial it's not for you. We could see the dolphins from our pitch and the views over the sea were stunning. Thankfully this site will never be overcrowded due to the limited natural spring water supply. We will definitely be re-visiting!

If your looking for a quiet place to chill this site is for you .as previous reviews the location is beautiful we where sited in the top field with views over Cardigan island its worth going just to see the sunsets.
The campsite is very basic with no shops or pubs in walking distance , the nearest beach takes about 20 min to walk and does not allow dogs as we found out .
Gordon and Mary were brilliant hosts even did some shopping for us .we did find that not having a pub nearby was a bit of a bind ,so make sure you take plenty of supplies especially for motor home users who don't like to move when sited .
