August 2005 This is by far the best campsite i have ever stayed at. We initially had only planned to stay for a couple of nights but we extended this to 4 nights as the campsite was so perfect. The location is beautiful and the view from our tent was like a picture postcard. The site owners are very welcoming and really go that extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. We will definitely be returning in the next few weeks and i'd like to say a big thankyou to Gordon and Mary for making our stay so wonderful.

July 2005 Have just visited this site and I agree with the previous comments. The site owners work hard to provide a site that is friendly and welcoming (which it is) without being intrusive. It is, as described, a working farm with all that that entails which is great for the kids and adults alike. You get to see the donkeys and horses and there is a feeling of having found something a bit different and a bit special. The conditions of the site itself are basic so its very much for real campers. The field is slightly sloping and although the grass is short it gets wet from the sea mist that sweeps in so be warned ! Facilities are still ,like the site itself, in infancy. There are two showers - which does cause queues if the place is busy but the washrooms are inspected regularly and are kept very clean. The showers are large though and have a seperate room to each one which is great. Altogether this place is a bit different from your average site. You are made to feel welcome for one thing rather than just as a 'customer'.The washer and drier are free for example and there's a communal fridge. The place itself, with its private cove and nearby beach is well alway from the bustle of everyday life and the scenery is truly breathtaking. Even so, you're only just down the road from Cardgian and a 24 hour Tescos. This is a little bit of unspoilt heaven on the Welsh coast and once visited, you'll see why so many keep going back.

July 2005 Just got back from a great week camoing at Nant-y-Croi. The site was really relaxed and Gordon and Mary very friendly. Children loved the farm and the animals and had a great time. Don't go to this site if 1. you like super shower blocks and facilities - these are clean but basic 2. you expect entertainment, bars and shops - there is just the views to soothe the eyes

May 2005 Have just returned from a week camping at Nant-y croi, and I have to say it is by far one of the nicest campsites I have stayed on. The site overlooks the coast with beautiful sea views and coastal walks on the doorstep. It is a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing setting.
The site itself is very basic but the facilities are always clean; there is no shop but you can buy the essentials milk bread sausages etc from the farmhouse. The site owners are lovely, Gordon drives round on his quad bike daily making sure you're ok and letting you know the weather forecasts. My daughters loved him as he organised pony rides and quad bike rides for them...at no cost !
This truly was a wonderful site with a friendly relaxed atmosphere...no time restrictions on when you arrive or depart! I will definatley be returning.

August 2004 This is probably the most peaceful place I have ever been. My girlfriend and I camped there for a few days and had a wonderful time. The peaceful setting, the animals and the nearby (20 min walk) beach were great, but the best thing was the little cove, which was the ideal place to spot the dolphins playing in the sea.
We live in the country, so we weren't just awed by the lack of concrete - this place is really special. To top it all off, Gordon is a lovely bloke. The facilities were fairly basic, but complete and well looked after.
I am almost reluctant to recommend Nant-y-croi Farm because I want it all to myself - but here I am doing it anyway. We circled Wales last summer and there's nowhere like this. If you want to go somewhere to forget the world for a few days, go here.
