I came to this camp as a small group of 5 aged 19-21. When we first arrived at the camp we were a bit disappointed with it, as it was quite empty and just looked a bit boring, but once we'd set up tent we started to settle in.

The owner let us know all the rules and safety stuff as we were setting up. We were allowed to have BBQ's and fires which was lovely!

The beach was less than a 5 minute walk and had beautiful views day and night. There's a sainsbury's supermarket and petrol station about 3 miles away which was fab for everything we needed. Weston-super-mare was also just down the road and had lots to do there!

The toilet block consisted of male toilets and shower, female toilets and shower and two unisex/family toilets + showers. Also there was a disabled toilet reserved only for disabled. We found the hand towels to be a bit horrible but that can easily be resolved by just having your own with you to dry your hands. Also when we were there there was a lack of toilet roll but that too was easily resolved we just bought our own! Rubbish and recycling bins were provided for everyone too.

I would recommend this campsite to all ages, there was a mixture of all ages there and everyone seemed happy.

Site in nice location near to beach. Tide goes out for miles.

Facilities OK but not memorable.

Just stopped for the 1 night and had a great meal at Commodore Hotel about 20 mins walk to end of the bay along the front.

We decided to pop in to Weston on the open top bus in the morning before we left, and went to let the owner know that we would be away by 12 noon. She said it would be 3 pounds extra each to stay till 12, or 3 pounds to park by the gate if we moved.

Not very accommodating so we left.

Lovely farm site. We were a party of 2 adults, one 2yr old and two 17 week old puppies.

Were welcomed and shown to our pitch which was level and sheltered in a small field behind the tourers. We were shown the facilities and then left to set up and told that they are always there if we needed anything. Don't forget your plastic pegs though as they do not allow metal pegs on site. We had our own but they do sell them at the farm house if needed.

They have nice toilet block with 2 toilets in the ladies and 2 in the gents. These were always clean and fully stocked. They also have 2 showers in each which had plenty of room and your clothes don't get wet whilst using! They also have 2 family bathrooms with a toilet, basin and shower in each which was great for us when taking our 2 yr old son for a shower. There was plenty of free hot water and was a proper shower not an electric one which was nice.

They also had a few children's toys, bikes etc scattered around for the little ones to play with which was a nice gesture. My son loved this.

Fri night was lovely and peaceful with only the odd owl or fox making a noise. However on the Sat night there were 2 tents of teenagers in the field behind which were quite rowdy. At 3am we had enough as they woke our 2yr old so we went over to tell them. They were apologetic and the noise stopped.

The following morning the owners were very apologetic for the noise and went to see the teenagers. They said we should have gone to get them at 3am but we didn't like too!

Sand bay is a nice little village, beach is not up too much though. Grandma's tea rooms is a must which is a few hundred yards from the site. The Commodore Hotel at the end of the bay is lovely and does really nice food really cheaply.

We went on the open top bus into Weston which our son and puppies really enjoyed. These run every 30 mins or so.

Only downside was that we found the site a little expensive. £46 for 2 nights in a tent with no electric we thought was a bit steep.

A nice site to get away from it all. Will be returning.

The location of this campsite is very good, it's just a short walk up the lane to the beach. There are regular open top buses to Weston Super Mare which made a nice change to driving and the children enjoyed it. We also walked to Weston through the woods and caught the bus back.

The beach is quiet, sandy and popular with dogs, but also clean. Grandmas cafe is just around the corner and very nice. There is a chipshop / Chinese / Malaysian takeaway / restaurant within walkable distance and the Malaysian food is superb. There is a path from the seafront to the local shop and pub, which takes about 20 mins to walk.

The campsite is fairly small with 12 proper pitches and also a large tent field, one toilet block with 2 ladies loos and a shower, and washing up sinks, which were nice enough.

There were toys and bikes for the children to borrow. You can take your horse on holiday with you and they will stable it there. Dogs are allowed, but on leads at all times. My only criticisms are there was quite often no loo roll and the site looked a bit untidy in places.

Lovely owners everyone on site was very very friendly, ,

Toilet blocks cleaned morning and evening, left to get on and enjoy but someone on site if needed,

Very close to beach, definitely go back again. Hopefully potholes filled in by then (even though not as bad as thought they were going to be )

We had our own little field which we loved as we were a large group (the only thing I would say say is the grass could of been cut before ), but it didn't stop us having a fantastic weekend. Cant wait to return

We had a lovely trip overall and a lovely bank holiday get away, but trip was let down by this site.

We hadn't even got out of our car before we were accosted by the owners about recycling and warned that if we didn't recycle properly then she would make us go through the entire sites rubbish and listed the things we might find if we did. We were also not warned that the site only uses plastic tent pegs and so were forced to buy some at reception.

We were crammed into a small fenced area and told exactly where to pitch the tent. We were told to pitch so close to the fence that we could not get the guy lines out. We were told to 'just tie them to the fence!' When the owner left us alone, we pitched further from the fence and Boy! was she cross when she came back. Luckily she let us leave the tent where we had put it.

The huge field behind had barely 5 tents in, and when the fenced area was full, people chose their own spots in the huge lovely field which we thought was a bit unfair. This meant that we had the misfortune to be placed next to a very loud group that played Westwood on Radio 1 until nearly midnight and children who screamed and played football from 7am. Our other neighbour promptly moved at first light to the other side of the site.

The site itself is very tucked away down a bumpy track by the sea. The views are almost non existent but we were quite happy to sit reading a book quietly (when our neighbours went out of course) looking at the hedge. The toilets and showers were always very clean and well stocked and we never queued. Likewise with the washing up area.

The site is quite literally on the beach, but you wouldn't know it as it's surrounded by houses. We spent a few lovely hours on the beach and then a great day in Weston super Mare which is only 5 minutes drive away. You wouldn't know you were so close to the town.

We didn't explore the local area too much but there looked to be good walks around and a cafe that does cream teas round the corner.

Overall we had a lovely weekend because of what we made of it and the company, but wouldn't return because of how we were greeted and the noise of the other campers.

Fabulous little site. It has nothing and yet everything. Nothing wrong at all with watching the grass grow and looking out over the views. It's quiet with no traffic noise. It's tucked away (albeit the shared access road could do with a few roadplanings dumped into the worst potholes), informal and relaxed. 5 mins from beach. Lovely clean showers/toilets. Welcoming, friendly but unintrusive hosts were great. Never felt watched or that we should be on good behaviour Shall defo be back next time we're in the area.

Our group stayed at Sand Farm for three nights at the end of July. As we were a large group of 20-25 year olds we found it very difficult to find somewhere to stay but sand farm welcomed us regardless.

Sand farm is a basic site but that's what we wanted so it was fine by us. The showers and toilet block were again very basic but adequate enough for a quick shower. Only thing was there never tended to be loo roll!

Noise levels had to be down by midnight which we all thought was a fair deal.

All the site staff were lovely, always had time for a chat and a giggle. They were more than happy to help with any queries. Ranger Ray was absolutely lovely!

The beach was a very short walk up the lane and very quiet, Weston super mare was a 5 minute drive away so not to close not to far.

Over all a good stay at sand farm. Would gladly stay again, perhaps not for more than a few nights but it was a lovely site over all.

A very nice little site, tucked away from the main road, but literally a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 10 minute drive to Weston Super Mare centre.

Made to feel very welcome by Site owner. a very good pitch with shelter from the wind. Had lots of rain and wind whilst we were there for 2 nights.

Toilets and shower block very well maintained and clean. With loo roll and soap available.

Will definitely stay here again as we had fun and it was quiet and we enjoyed using the site as a base to explore the local area.

We (2 adults with two 8yr olds) spent 2 nights at this site and were very happy with e site.

Greeted and shown the pitch site by the owner and nothing was too much trouble.

The toilets and showers were spotless and the total site was very clean and well kept.

The playground was good and the kids loved it.

The bar was handy but there wasn't much in there for smaller childrei the family area. There was a slots area but this was the hang out for teenagers so didn't want to leave our kids there.

Didn't try the pool but it looked clean.

The drive into Weston along the coast was short but very nice and even though there isn't a lot in the immediate area, a couple of shops and pubs. The location is nice, secluded, private and quiet. Chose somewhere else if you don't want to drive.
