Great campsite, very peaceful and ideally situated for the beach and Weston-super-Mare.
Toilet block was clean and tidy, but with only 1 shower and 2 toilets could be very busy if the campsite is full.

Nice flat field, 150 yards from the beach, bus stop 300 yards, quiet with toilets and a free shower.
Electric has to be paid for separately, on a meter we used about £3 a day.

Had a lovely weekend break here, the owners very friendly,
Facilities were good with waste point/water, loos and shower and great size pitches.
Very peaceful and relaxing.
Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and some nice tea rooms, also close to the bus stop into Weston super mare.
Definitely will stay again.

Very welcoming owners very proud of great improvements made to this site.
Plenty of room, spacious level pitch.
A little put off by the potholes the short access road, but the site made up for it.

Nice sight a few minutes walk to the beach.
Grandchildren loved the on site park.
Facilities need upgrading, hand dryers would be useful, and a general clean, but generally okay,
Showers were hot.

Just been taken over by new people, very friendly and helpful.
Nice toilet and shower block.
Very close to the beach and a pleasant walk along the beach or there is also a good path, cafe a little walk along the road and a pub a bit further but we didn’t go in as it was shut

I believe the place looks untouched since Covid and the new owners will be completely renovating this site. It does need it, and I don’t think recent reviews are completely genuine. We arrived OMG! what have we come to, and maybe we should have checked reviews a little better.
Electric hook up was on meter and cost us a tenner for four days.
Once over the shock of arrival, we pitched and made sure we had a decent view, close to beach cafe shop and chippy that sold alcohol and had outside seating area.
Quick bus ride during day into Weston Super Mare from bust halt a five minute walk from campsite. £4 return and even stopped outside Wetherspoons. Brilliant
Pretty basic campsite, on coming into the site is a bit untidy and not too welcoming to the eye, digger and dumper and skip abandoned. From previous reviews, and previous owners had left the place, especially the washroom facilities fall into a state of dire disrepair. Only two shower rooms with a toilet in each and not welcoming. Hot water on one sink only, showers were hot, mouldy mastic around shower and sinks, curtain showers mouldy, woodwork in state of disrepair. Washing machine not working, and washing sink hot water boiler not working.
Not the best, but I’ve seen worse. Complete renovation is maybe on the cards. Another camper mentioned it was lovely when they visited previously, pre Covid and there were separate facilities for male/female. Don’t think visitors using the two showers and toilets would feel comfortable with this set up.
Warden welcome was great, really pleasant and helpful.
Some of the last reviews don’t add up to much as maybe Specsavers would have been a good place to start.
Grey waste point covered in grass and looked unused completely, toilet waste point worked ok, but dated and lean-to over it looked like it was about to fall over. The notice said make sure you flush after use, no flush available, lol.
Hope it gets well soon it’s in such a peaceful area
