Just spent time here the pitches are really small, you seem on top of each other all the time the rubbish bin is not near by.

There are some resident touring caravans who can complain about where you car is parked or if your dog barks for any reason they will be on you.

The staff are brill the and the area is fabulous. The local villages are useful for a drink and meals.

Fabulous walking in the area around the site. Would not come back only because the plots are small.

We have stayed at this park on numerous occasions in the past and had a variety of experiences. Our previous ones with a different Warden stopped us from returning for a couple of years,

We decided to try a short break here [just returned] and have a highly positive feedback on the site, facilities, Warden [Terry] and owners.

From the booking, arrival, contact with staff and the facilities it has been an excellent experience. Cleanliness is now an important detail, care of the site and customer service are all high priorities which make the whole experience a joy.

Due to this we have placed our name on the waiting list for a seasonal pitch [plot 30 if available] and look forward to a positive reply when one becomes available.

Just had a 9 night stop at the Blue Rose Caravan park the site is split in two statics which is work in progress but does not interfere with the touring section.

All pitches are hardstanding with water and gray waste and electric. Good size and plenty of grass around the pitches. There are lots of seasonal vans so very quiet during the week.

Everyone friendly made very welcome on arrival, there is a lovely picnic area with benches which is a nice touch.

Toilets and showers very clean, showers lovely and warm Great site for days out around East Yorkshire

Just had a three day stay at this lovely adult only site. They are in the process of putting static holiday homes in place but I don't think this will spoil the site.

There are quite a few seasonal caravans on and I must say it seems to be very cliquey. We heard that there was complaints from some of the seasonal people due to people sitting in their awnings having a chat and it was only 9.30pm, so if you want to go and have a chat with friends make sure you do it quietly or the warden will be knocking on your door

This is another site that offers us the opportunity to leave our motorhome on site and explore the area either by foot or bus. The site is situated midway between the villages of Leven and Brandesburton. A tarmac footpath runs alongside the road but there is only street lighting on the route into Brandesburton. Walking time to either is about 15 minutes. Both villages have a couple of pubs, a Costcutter, Post Office, fish & chip shop & butchers. The fish and chip shop in Brandesburton has a restaurant attached as has the Chinese Take Away. I confess to preferring the village of Brandesburton, everybody that we came across was very friendly and helpful.

Beside walking into the villages there are a couple of leaflets available in reception that outline local walks, one of which can be accessed from directly opposite the site entrance - we would recommend a local OS map to help with the navigation. Another walk can be accessed from walking across the picnic area and up over a small style after which you seem to be able to wander in several directions.

Buses can be hailed from outside the site entrance. The service is hourly in either direction to Hornsea or Beverley & Hull.

Now to the site itself. Both the owners and warden were very pleasant and went out of their way to help with any queries that we had. They were also very open to suggestions about imporovements to the facilities such as hooks on the back of the toilet doors etc. The pitches are advertised as large and maybe they are compared with some places but there wasn't a lot of space between them. It is great to have fresh water, grey waste and electric points on each pitch and there wasn't too far to go to the chemical waste point. The shower blocks were kept very clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers etc. The one down point is that the rubbish bins are in the car park by reception which is fine if you pass regularly in a car but not so if have to walk and especially if it rains. We did raise this point with the warden but it seems unlikely that they will move the bins.

The site appears to be fairly new and static caravan pitches were being added whilst we were there. They have planted quite a few trees and shrubs but it will take some years before they provide any interest. Not a bad site and maybe we'll visit again.

This was our first visit to the Blue Rose Caravan and Country Park and from the first enquiry telephone call we found everyone to be friendly and helpful.

The site itself was easy to find and the entrance and reception was very clean and neatly kept. The gentleman who met us had good local knowledge which he shared with us.

The toilet and shower blocks were immaculately kept. Everyone on the site was friendly and welcoming and although there were dogs on site they were kept very quiet and under control, hardly noticeable at all.

The two local villages were within easy walking distance and both had pubs with friendly and welcoming staff.

The local bus stopped outside the park and it was only a short distance to Beverley which has a lovely Saturday market.

We would recommend this site to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday surrounded by lovely countryside and friendly people and we have already decided to book to spend the weekend welcoming in the New Year at this site.

Welcomed by David (site Warden), and the owner was present. Pleasant guys and helpful. The site and amenities are excellent. Showers lovely and hot with good pressure.

Unfortunately there aren't any dish wash facilities, but we was assured the site is ready for the installation, but it's finding the correct time to build the wash area as the site is busy. It's finding the time to start building work without causing inconvenience to customers on site.

Lovely site, well placed for pubs, eating houses and public transport to Beverley.

We will be back, but with our bikes next time, as everywhere is flat and adequate cycle paths.

Have just left the site having been a seasonal pitch holder for two years.

It was time for my good lady and I to move on.

I can highly recommend the site all hard standing fully service pitches. Clean toilet block with plenty of hot water. Who needs a pot wash when you have full service pitch?.

(Dave) the Warden is very friendly and helpful, nice and quiet site. Would like to see a better dog exercise area.

Close to the site there are some good food pubs a really good fish and chip shop. And good local shops for your morning paper and milk if you are running short.

Hornsea Freeport is about six miles away and a trip round Beverly wouldn't go amiss, bus stops right out side the caravan site.

All in All it's a nice place to visit.

Arrived pm on 2nd July met by very helpful lady in the office. Full directions to pitch which was adjacent to shower block as requested, as I am disabled. Being still not very good at reversing we were helped to site the unit by a couple of seasonal owners. Most of the units on site are either seasonal or permanent as the site is open 12 months.

So there are not too many pitches available but if you can get there please do!

Shower block was immaculate. Warnings about very hot water were much appreciated! Push button showers but I find these no problem. Laundry room immaculate with a small library of books and many caravan magazines.

The Chippie in Brandsburton comes well recommended and they were superb! Food at the pub was also excellent (Can't remember the name) Leven and Brandsburton are not too far away but with my limited motability too far for me to walk. But that was my problem! Bus stops at the gates for Hornsea and Beverley. Fishing just down the road, but there are other facilities close by.

Two small gripes, noise of Motor Cycles every night on the main road.. It isn't very loud but it's there every night. Also for 3 or 4 days there was a smell of manure which seemed to invade the site, for some reason in the mornings and evenings. (I Know! this is the country and you have to accept it, and having spent most of my child hood holidays on a farm it doesn't bother me. But some people may find it too much)

The peace and quiet otherwise was wonderful. A very relaxing holiday and it will go onto my list of favourites.

We saw a lot of the local area in our 12 days and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the one disappointment was Withernsea! Just not worth the trip.

Site is on the main road with reception just as you turn off - however pitches are set much further back and don't suffer from road noise.

Vast majority appear to be seasonal vans - all very well kept and look regularly used. The grass was well cut, hardstandings well kept and toilets / showers all clean and tidy. There is a laundry room with washing machine - £2. 20 for a wash and £1 for an hour in the dryer - this is the best value of any site we have found.

We took a bus from outside the site into Beverely, really lovely town with good shops, cafes and a Minster, worth the visit. It cost £6. 50 each return on the bus.

This is a good site, well kept, friendly wardens etc. Its adults only so very quiet and peaceful.

We would stay again.
