This is our second visit to Blue Rose Caravan Park what a wonderful peaceful site so quiet you can have a lay in no noise.
Visited Beverley and Hornsea again lovely places to see next visit we may visit other places or we may just chill out on this tranquil site.
Nice and friendly wardens Sarah and Dave and the Owners are great too, got a free ice cream, best I have tasted. can not wait for our next visit

We highly recommend this campsite. This was our first visit to this site and will be one of many. The location is excellent and is very quiet. Fantastic for dog walking.
The toilet block is very nice and always clean.
Dacre Arms pub nearby, lovely food and recommend the John Smiths Cask ale.
Wardens could not have been more helpful.
To sum up overall: A must visit campsite.
Only negative observation: There are no pot washing facilities, but hey take yourselves out and let someone else do the washing up.

We have just experienced an enjoyable break at this site and will be going back to it. The wardens have good inter-personal skills making you feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble.
The peace and quiet enables you to relax and rest with clean and well presented amenities. Anyone wanting these qualities should put this site at the top of their list.
We are more that happy to recommend this and will be returning soon for a weekend break.Good value for money, There are also nearby shops, pubs for meals and evenings out and also close to seaside resorts.

Just returned from our second visit to Blue Rose. Lovely caravan site, even the Easter bunny called and left a Easter egg. Very friendly wardens, dog friendly plus no extra charge for dogs, (which I begrudge paying). Nice village nearby, with 2 pubs, fish shop, nice butchers / bakers, papershop. Easy drive to Bridlington, Hornsea and surrounding coastal villages. I would recommend this site to other caravanners.

We actually arrived on the 23rd December 2009, but stayed through into January. When we arrived late, there were 6 inches of snow on the ground, but the staff were fantastic! There to meet us and helped us get our caravan onto the pitch. During our stay, they were extremely pleasant and helpful. The toilet block is super with free and plentiful hot water. However, could do with longer periods of heating in the cold winter months.
When time came to go, the weather conditions were even worse than when we arrived! (Roads closed etc!) Due to a hospital appt, we had to try and get home asap, and the site owners allowed us to leave the caravan in order to make our journey home. FANTASTIC SERVICE! We returned a few days later and booked another 10 days on site!
Having spoken to the owners, there are lots of plans for future facility development and we would not hesitate to return to this lovely, peaceful site.

We arrived on site and found the reception un-manned, but a note on the window telling us what pitch was allocated to us. Then the site warden came running down to us and showed us onto the pitch, and where all the amenities were, she said we could pay on Monday when the reception would be open, but if we needed anything we could ask her. The pitches were level with gravel and a water and electric point on each pitch. A good sized shower and toilet block with plenty of hot water. A nice quiet site with a couple of villages within walking distance it took us about 20 mins, with pubs, shops and a chip shop. Good base for exploring nearby Bridlington, whitby, Scarbourgh and Filey. We would definitely visit and recommend this site.

On the 30 th of July, we stayed three nights at Blue Rose Camp site.
This was our first time at this Adult Only Campsite, we were made very welcome from the start, and shown to our pitch, which was hard standing, with its own Electric and Water.
Toilet block was very clean, with Hot water and good showers.
We where invited to join in with a BBQ and get together with other Campers, which we all enjoyed, and the family where great host.
The Bus stop is at the camp site entrance. Which takes you to Beveley, or Hornsey.
Two villages, Leven to the left of site, and Brandesburton to the right, under a mile each way.
In the village of Brandesburton, there are good Fish and Chips, both villages have good pubs, and Village Shops.
We will definitely visit this Site again.

Just come home from spending a week on this site in our caravan. We would recommend this site to anyone that needs a relaxing break! Beautiful clean toilets and shower blocks and the staff on site are extremely friendly and helpful. If you have a dog, they too are made very welcome, and there is a huge field on site where you can exercise them (we appreciated this)as we have been to sites previously that claim to have dog exercise areas, but they have been tiny. The site is conveniently situated between two villages each having shops, pubs etc.Close to the coast as well. If your into fishing there's a lake opposite the site where you can pay £5 to fish all day! Well worth a visit, we stayed for a week but could have stayed for much longer as we liked it so much!

Stayed here for 1 week, we where a bit apprehensive about going there having read the reviews and being forewarned by the owners when booking about the site not being completed yet.
But we where pleasantly surprised although there where minor faults and workmen where on the site it did not interfere with our stay.
The owner and his family are very nice and very obliging and when the site is completed I am sure it will be a very nice place.
My 1 issue would be that the touring pitches would have benefited from a little more space on each pitch, a few feet can make an awful lot of difference. Perhaps not noticable as much if you don't use an awning.
The site is ideally located for the coast, and plenty of shopping places within easy reach.
Try the chip shop in Brandsburton the food is fantastic .
Will definitely give this site another visit later this year and next year to see how it has developed.
Have marked site facilities lower only because the toilets were not quite finished, still usable though, and there were no pot washing facilities in place yet

What a wonderful week we have had at the Blue Rose Caravan Park, a peaceful and idyllic spot. An adult only site, with wonderful places to visit close by, plenty of eating places if you do not want to cook. Still under construction but does not spoil the peace and tranquillity
