A lovely clean site, well kept grass and nice clean toilets and lovely warm showers, it has a lot of tourers sited for the season and when we first arrived we thought it was busy driving up the to our pitch but we only sore about 6 caravans been used which ment the site was very peaceful but when we spoke to someone on the site they said even when It's busier It's still quiet and relaxed place. The pitches are all hard standing and have there own taps and waste water drain. The warden helped up onto our pitch as it was our first time with the van and The next day he went around site checking peoples awning's making sure they was still nice and secure because it had been a bit windy through night which I thought was nice of him. So if you want a nice clean relaxed site and it was only £17 for the night with free showers then this is the place. Ps there is a lovely Chinese takeaway just up the road in brandsburton 2mins from site mmmmm.

Just spent 5 nights at Blue Rose. Nice big pitch, have their own water and drainage, but we had a lot of trouble with the electric tripping out. The toilets did need cleaning even on a Bank Holiday weekend

It could do with a heater working in the disabled toilet as it was freezing in there.

Wardens Dave and Sarah most helpful and friendly

Ideal location for visiting Beverley, Hornsea and the east coast.

Our view is that this site really needs to install a facility for washing up. There is no hot water available for this purpose; this being one of the reasons why we stayed only one night and not two.

The heating in the showers apparently comes on automatically when the temperature drops to a certain temperature. This seems to be set too low, as it wasn't that warm whilst we were there and we never noticed any heat.

Water and electric on every pitch is excellent, but from our personal point of view, we found the site very 'uniform' with no character.

Also note, rock pegs are needed for awnings.

Booked this Site last minute for two nights on the 25th-27th March, having never visited this area before. We chose this Site based on the excellent reviews left previously on UK Campsite. We can only reiterate on comments left before. This is a well planned Site, nice firm pitches & roadways throughout Site, good size showers, dog walking area both on & off Site. Friendly, helpful owners & warden, we were allowed to stay a bit longer on the Sunday Departure day (appreciate that this is not always possible at busier times) but this allowed us to get a nice walk with our dogs down by the Leven Canal. Can definitely recommend this great Site.

We stayed here for 1 night as a new year getaway and to just have a nice time out in the motorhome.

The site was very easy to find and we were warmly welcomed on arrival.

A pitch had been pre-selected for us, map handed over and directions given.

The site is quite open and underdeveloped at the moment but the pitches were of excellent quality.

The pitch had water and electric available.

We went off for a bike ride to Hornsea sea front which was about 15 miles round trip I think.

The toilets were all spotless and had hot water whenever needed. As we were only there for 1 night we didn't really use the facilities that much though. I did see a laundrette part though too.

There were a few of the seasonal people present and they said hello and were nice and friendly.

Site was good value on hardstanding in the offseason - £15.

Nice and quiet overnight and no problems at all.

We were here over the Christmas period,24th-29th Dec, for the first time, and it shall not be our last visit that's for sure. From the moment I made a reservation I had a very good feeling about this site, very friendly and helpful on the telephone. Travelling from Belgium David the warden put us at ease about the facilities etc. On arrival we were not disappointed, the camping looked beautiful in its thick layer of snow. After filling in the necessary details at the reception, we were directed to our large pitch, which was hard standing, (and also level!) with all the facilities on hand, ie electric-water and drainage for the dirty water.

The toilet/shower facilities were tip top in order, no coins necessary, all inclusive in the price. We were more than happy with our decision to come here, and would certainly highly recommend this camping to anybody thinking of visiting, yes even with your pet dog/cat with there own designated area to do there business!

Ppurpose of our visit was visiting family, so cannot comment on the surrounding area really, although it is ideal for all the coastal towns, and of course Beverley and Hull all being a short drive away. I believe plans are also in the make for static caravans to be placed on site too

Only one negative point and that is its not well sign posted, but I know they are working on this

We have just had a fantastic weekend at this site. We stayed with our other 4 friends in their vans due to wifes birthday. We wanted somewhere local and could not have picked a better site. First time at this site and would recommend. The site is hard standing with water and waste and elec on your pitch. The toilet and shower facilities are nice and clean plenty of hot water. The local shop is only 5 min drive away but there is a small farm shop on site. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to blue rose over the winter especially it has hard standing.

We have spent another enjoyable five night stay what can you say nice big service pitches that include water and waste connections. The wardens Dave and Sarah cannot do enough for you. There only one point I like to make in the disabled toilet block could you put a power shower in and the heater should be a option so you can switch it on if it cold not off all the time. I found it cold some mornings when we were there. At the reception they have a small shop selling stuff otherwise supermarkets are close on hand. We will be going back next year.

Staff very nice a well planned site. The only two fault's we had with the site were the bins were at the site entrance I think they should be closer to the caravans, most people drove down to them in there car, near the toilet block would be ideal.

The other thing was no were to wash your pots, I know the pitch was serviced but I do like to wash my pot's at a communal area you meet other people that way.

The local shop is around 15mins walk also an award winning fish and chip shop well worth a visit,we found two pubs in the village but they allow non members in the golf club which is a little closer to the site and it was cheaper all in all a nice place to visit
