Spent ten days at the holiday village bit of a mixed bag really. The toilet blocks of which there were two are nice and generally kept nice and clean the park consists of two slides and two swings and a sandpit, could do with a little more there for the kids as this was not much of a park. We were there for ten days one week low season and more or less one week high season there was no entertainment the first week they did not even open the arcade the second week they gave us two nights entertainment at the weekend but then closed the entertainment bar after Saturday night although they did leave the arcade open for the second week which was some help to keep the kids occupied. The site does have an indoor heated swimming pool which is also nice and clean but they must use a candle to heat it as the water is really freezing everyone who used it while I was there said the same thing, they do have a bar where you can sit down for a quiet drink next to the arcade but the bars seemed to have a bit of a musty smell don't know if that was just me though. Next to the pool is a basic gym fitness center which was £3 to use, one of my main gripes with the site was the fact that there was no soap in the toilets OK so you have to take your own soap every time you use the toilet no bad thing but even in the bars toilets still no soap so how many people were using toilets not washing hands and then handling glasses and so on. The site is ideally situated for the town of aberystwyth which is a really nice town and some wonderful views if you drive towards Borth. On the whole me and my family enjoyed our time at the holiday village and would return mainly because we fell in love with aberystwyth.

We visited this site and found it great. Location very near town, enabling you to walk into Aberystwyth with ease. Shower block clean and up to date. The pitches were great, at that time of the year we visited we were able to choose our own pitch, the ground very good, level and pegs went in with ease. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Hoping to return again this year

Visited here on a very warm Easter weekend. Site was clean but the grass was definitely on the long side meaning damp cold feet on the walk up to the shower block in the morning. The shower block and toilets were clean and the water comfortably hot. My only criticism of the place was there were no pitch markings so were just pointed to an area and told to pitch there.

What a lovely site! Very friendly staff in reception, the bar and the shop. Great big games room. The shop sold everything you need so don't worry too much if you forget anything - very decent prices too. Could perhaps be a few more things to do during the day as arcade didn't open until 6pm however, this could be because it was off peak, it also closed quite early. Will most definatly return. Highly recommend!

I have been to this site twice now and it is a brill site. The staff are friendly. The toilets and shower blocks are kept spotless and there is every thing on site to keep everyone amused including fishing, pubs, swimming. There is also a well equipped shop. I would recommend and will be visiting it again myself within the next 2 months

Arrived on a weekend and found it a very popular site for weekenders as it became very cramped as arrivals where put as close as possible to each other. Facilities are good here, as described by others, a family orientated site children obviously having a good time not a site for those that like peace and quiet. The downside - does it always rain in Wales?!

Stayed at this site in a tent for 4 nights with my partner and our 2 young children. Besides tents and mobiles being crammed in together like sardines the land was flat although the ground only had about 3" of earth before large stones and bricks became an obstacle. Toilets and showers are very clean and warm and the shop is well stocked with groceries and camping equipment. The owners will let anybody on there (including groups who decided to run about the fields screaming at 3am, being really noisy and causing a nuisance. Through the day they would open their car boots, and blast loud music onto the camp. We complained about this a few times and the security did have a word but they didn't pay much attention. Luckily we had one extra night on the site without them so we got at least one night sleep while we were there. I am only 26 and my partner 22, its not like we are boring old farts who like to complain about everything but I think there is a limit and people should have more respect. Probably wouldn't go again as it is quite far from us and it doesnt offer a great deal more than any other campsite.

Good, clean facilities. We went over the bank holiday weekend and the following week. It was very busy until the Tuesday. On site cafe very reasonable, absolutely huge mugs of tea for £1! Also cooked breakfast £2.75. Bread and milk expensive in shop but big back of sausage for £1.99 (16 sausages )and the bacon was really nice (6 slices) for £1.29. Swimming pool was supervised and the "life guard" actually took notice of what was going on. Only draw back for us was that the fishing was not any good! I enjoyed the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.

Been here for 4 nights nice site. Good location for Aberystwyth town with free park and ride near by. Great shop on site for all camping needs/ fishing needs and a well stocked one too. Toilets clean showers were cold in one block so used the other one which was same distance anyway. Good club/pub they had special offer on carlsberg larger £1 bottle which I took advantage off good entertainment in club. Big arcade with pool tables in. Good take away eat in cafe at reasonable prices
Overall good site no complaints.

What a fantastic campsite! It catered for everything. Great pitches, lovely modern and clean toilets and showers, with cleaners always on hand. Great nightly entertainment for young and old alike. Only five minutes walk from Aberystwyth town centre and a pebbled beach. The only bad thing I can say about it was then weather.just rained all the time we were there, but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time. They had great leisure facilities, very clean swimming pool. Kids loved it Def go back again!
