When we got to the site the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The facilities are pretty good and were on the whole clean and tidy. The kids play area has been improved with new play equipment but it is situated in an area that gets very wet and muddy - just right for the kids! The pitch we were on was right next to the toilet block but it wasn't too bad even though the site was fairly busy but my main gripe I suppose is that the pitches in general aren't level, but as another review has already pointed out - it is the highlands! In all honesty it wasn't like a relief map of the Himalayas but a gentle incline which posed no problems.

There's plenty to do in the area especially if you like adventure. We went hillwalking and canoeing and had a great time (we being myself and my 2 kids aged 11 and 9).

For eating and supplies there is the restaurant on site although we didn't use it and there is a reasonable supermarket/store in Killin. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights so we didn't spread our wings much further.

Will I go back? Yes indeedy!

Staff were really helpful, van was really clean. Excellent park and location.

The kids park is not up to much though. Although the kids did like the chickens !

Killen is close by with plenty of shops and a great hotel !

It also has a great park for the kids.

We hired a boat on Loch Tay - My son drove drove it - he loved it !

Loved this site. Only visited for one night but really enjoyed it. On arrival the gentleman checking us in was really friendly and helpful.

We pitched our tent at the top of the hill which gave us magnificent views back along the valley and down the site.

We were well sheltered as there is a large earth hill behind the site for screening and another couple in our group had a camper van which sat in front of us so we were shielded from most of the wind.

The facilities were really clean and a good size, not many people on the site so was pretty quiet.

Playground was a bit small but with not too many people on the site it was never too busy. I would recommend this for families, singles and groups. There is plenty of space as well so you can pretty much choose if you want to be near someone or away from it all.

Only negative was the on site restaurant. The staff were not very helpful and appeared quite rude. We ended up not eating there because of their attitude (and the price of the food!)

Overall, lovely place and a great setting, we will be back.

Just spent a night here over the Easter weekend. Site was reasonably quiet with a mixture of motorhomes, tents and statics.

Toilet facilities were spotless and plenty of warm water.

The playground could do with a bit more in it as it only has 2 swings, a couple of bars for older children and a tyre but there is plenty of space for them to wander around and also woods to play in and a short walk to the marina.

Special treat this weekend though was watching the Easter Sunday lambs being born!

Only downside I would say is that there is not a lot of 'flat' ground for tents to pitch but all in all a good site and well worth the visit.

Stayed here over the Easter Weekend. Lovely site made nicer by the fantastic weather we had. Nice clean shower block - plenty of hot water. There was a room for dishwashing along with washing machine and tumble drier. Basic playpark for the kids.
Lovely walk through the woods down to the loch. Basic shop sold sweets, crisps, ice-lollies, milk, bacon, cheese. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked lovely. Nearest shop for supplies was Co-op in Killin. Fish and chip van in Killin also. Lovely walks. Will definitely visit again.

My wife and I were there for 1 week and although it rained from day 2 until day 7, we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The site itself was very quite and peaceful and the food at the restaurant was great and not pricey. There was a path that took you down to the water where you could go swimming or just sit back and watch the world go by.

Plenty walks if you decide to take your dog with you or if you just like to wander yourself.

The site shop has some stuff but if you need something that's not stocked then it's not far from Killin where you can get most things.

We ended up staying on this site by chance, as the one we were planning to use was flooded. Located about three miles along the north shore of Loch Tay from the village of Killin, the site can be found on the right hand side. Within easy reach and worth visiting: Falls of Docart in Killin, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, The Falls of Leny and Loch Earn.

The site itself was great - staff were helpful and friendly and the facilities were spotlessly clean. The site is huge and caters for tents, caravans, campervans and statics. There was also a cafe adjacent to the site, but it was closed when we stayed.

The location of the site was beautiful, being right on the loch side, and below large snow-capped mountains.

Nice site with nice facilities. Modern clean toilet block.

As stated before, not many level tent pitches. Worse than that however was the rain turning the tent fields into mud pits making it hard to get cars near tent or out of the field especially if you have rear wheel drive.

Would go back though. Nice walk down to loch edge. Short drive to Falls of Dochart and to Kenmore.

A fantastic site just a few minutes walk through woodland to the edge of Loch Tay! Facilities were excellent and clean, a lovely play area by a wee stream that our daughter loved playing in with her new friends. A simple farm shop onsite selling essentials such as milk, butter, bead and icelollies! A lovely family site that would be on our top 10 list!

This is a lovely site, the owners couldn't be anymore helpful. The toilets were clean and the showers were hot.

I have only one fault about the site and that was the play park for the kids, we thought it could have been better.

We were there for 4 days, it was rain rain rain but we all had a great time in and around the surrounding areas.

We would go back there in a minute.
