Very nice atmosphere. Nice setting. There are few level tent spaces, and very limited toilet facilities, so I'm glad my partner and I went out of season (late September) when we were one of only 3 tents there. We paid £9 per night.
There are Highland cattle on the adjacent farm, and hens. And a nice woodland walk down to the lochside. I get on well with dogs, but I don't like them being allowed to roam freely on a campsite where they can cock a leg against a tent or foul the grass. Unfortunately, at least one resident seemed to let his dog wander the site on its own for much of the time we were there, showing little respect for such concerns.
The onsite restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but decent meals were available in nearby Killin. And the riverside information centre there displays a very comprehensive set of meteorological predictions, including assessments at various altitudes for walkers, climbers and boats.

A very quiet site ideal for fishing Holiday. Plenty hot water in shower block. 5 minute walk to loch side. On site restaurant has good prices, food amazing. We will definitely be back next year no cc clicks here, everyone made to feel at home. 3 mile hike to nearest town with shops for everyone. All in a very beautiful place.

We found this site by accident - we initially wanted to go to another nearby but it was full up - but i'm so glad we did.Well run, clean, cracking scenery and very friendly owners all combined to make it a great family holiday. There is a lovely walk down throught the woods to ther lochside, plenty of room to walk your dog also. There is a small playpark to keep the kids amused and ours loved going to see the highland cattle just off the site. The picturesque village of Killin is only a 5 minute drive away for all the supplies you will need. We ate in the on-site restaurant one night and it was resonably priced and the food was excellent. All in all a great site which we will return to this year.

If you want evening entertainment, shops, large play area, and nearby facilities then this is not the site for you! However for peace and quiet and de- stressing it's just the place! We arrived quite late on a Friday evening and there was plenty of room. I did note however that if it was busy hooks ups were limited. Plenty of space so not crowded. Room to sit outside and take in the scenery. Toilets were OK. Gents not very clean- but then the cleaner can't be cleaning 24/7 For us it was perfect. Owners very friendly, dogs welcome. Lovely walks, 2 minutes from caravan and some better ones from Killin. A map with several walks may be obtained at the visitors centre in Killin- I recommend the one which takes you round the shores of the loch- all on the level, about 3 miles. Passing the pub on the way back- perfect. There is a restaurant on site. We did think it was a bit on the expensive side but we will most definitely be there again

Along with 2 other sites this site is very good in our opinion its pretty well run and usually get on with the family tent at any time of year [within opening months] we were there 3 times last season and will be there again this season, its a good family site a park for the wee ones and a little pond also a great walk through the forrest down to loch tay ,killin is nearby and aberfeldy is about 15 miles away , its a good site to get away from your usuall busy life in town/city. Have a few beers and relax. Dont worry its quiet after about 11 at night.

I visited Crauchan Farm Caravan & Camping Park with my husband, daughter and dog. As we had not been camping as a family before we were a little unsure if we would enjoy it so we booked in for three nights. I am so glad I chose this site for our first adventure as I could not find any fault. The greeting was very friendly and we were directed to the camping area where we were allowed to chose our own spot. The shower and toilet block was excellent always hot water when required and cleaned daily. The location of the site was spot on as we were able to go sight seeing and have enjoyable walks down to the loch. The campsite was well looked after and had a relaxing atmosphere. As a result of having such a great time we are now planning our summer holidays and will be visiting Crauchan Farm again.

Went last weekend with our trailer tent and Great Dane ! very friendly people, lovely site and very well maintained, toilets new and clean. A weekend was not enough time to do everything we wanted. There is something for everyone close by. There are forestry walks, bike tracks there the near by Ben lawers hills, there is the marina which is a short walk along the lochs edge from the campsite, which has a great bar and restaurant, which sells lovely food. there is near by killin with some lovely antique shops and one of the most lovely drives I have ever been on the Rannoch Station. so we will definitely be back. Many thanks for a lovely weekend, and scooby enjoyed it too.

Yep this campsite sure is hilly as mentioned previously. Not many level pitches at all (but I got one) Electric hook ups are VERY limited theres 4 in the main tenting area. Its a nice location though just right for chilling out. Only one childs play area and that was very small. Toilets are just too small for the amount of tents in there this weekend, the toilets in the camping area have 2 urinals 1 toilet cubicle and 2 showers that was the gents anyway.Though there is another block up in the static are which is bigger but older, nice hot showers. If you take a 15 minute walk through the woods you will come across the facilities for loch Tay highland lodges theres boat hire canoes archery clay pigeon shooting and you can use these for a price obviously. Theres also a pub and restaurant but its much more expensive than Cruachan farms. Killin is only 3 miles away when you need supplies as the farmhouse only really sells milk eggs and juice and some sweets they did freeze my ice packs for my coolbox for free though very appreciated. All in all I thought we`d go back but early in the day to get a level pitch and maybe if we were really lucky an electric hook up

Just returned from Cruachan Farm campsite, with miixed opinion. Good location, fantastic scenery, good spacious tent pitches, reasonable price. But feel that the toilet block lets the site down. I used the one by the tent field and it was never clean. Two showers and two toilets in ladies. Hot water, that was when the shower didn't dribble the water out. They left a mop for you to clean the floor after using shower cubicle, but the water was always dirty in bucket and the mop was filthy. Although site was busy I don't feel this is an excuse as there is no reason why cleaner couldn't spend more time cleaning toilets. On the two occasions I seen her in cleaning she only put new toilet rolls in, picked up any litter, paper from floor and wiped round sink area. I never once saw her with either a clean mop or disenfectant. I feel this is a shame that a good campsite in a good area is spoilt by lack of cleaning.
