Just returned from a 4 night stay at this lovely site.
The owners were very helpful and pleasant and the amenities wonderful.
Toilets and showers which are situated in an old converted brick kiln were spotless clean and immaculate impossible to fault them.
There is some sound from the nearby motorway but not enough to bother you if you sleep well the way we did.
Easy accessible to Banbury and other interesting villages and towns.
In all a delightful site one we would certainly return to.

We stayed at this campsite for a long week end, the toilets were spotless , the hard standing was very gritty so had to sweep out every 5 minutes.
Public transport was almost non existent and nobody seemed to know whatt times they ran not even the locals
The fishing was accessed via the other side of the bridge then a few hundred yard walk to avoid the overhead power cables .
The village was about a half hour walk along unmarked and unlit roads. We only used the three tuns pub where the staff and customers were very friendly and I would like to say thank you to the people who stopped to give us a lift there and back on a couple times. Chinese food is available from inside the pub where you can eat in or take away (my wife ordered food to be delivered and asked if they would give us a lift at same time bit cheeky I thought but they agreed ) Over all they stay was not too bad but I would not stay again as I felt every thing was too far away, nearest shop in village or Banbury, no reliable bus service and hard standing very gritty. 15 pound a night I thought a bit pricey but that's my opinion

Really nice little campsite with friendly, helpful owners.
The toilets and showers were spotless and warm, built into interesting buildings. Hard standings all reasonably level and well sheltered.
The walk along the Oxford canal into Banbury is nice and takes around an hour.
The facilities were more than adequate, in fact better than most sites we have been on.
At first we were concerned about the traffic noise from the motorway but it soon seemed to blend into the background causing us no problems.
Will definitely return.

Very nicely laid out site and well maintained with attractive grounds and shrubs etc. The site is quite small which we like. It was perfect for our family weekend - we could relax and let the children play.
Facilities are pretty good - new and very functional shower block etc, washing machine, tumble-dryer, outdoor sinks and drinking water supply. Banbury is very close with every shop etc you could need - large Sainsburys is just 5 minutes away.
Motorway noise is noticeable all the time but otherwise this is an excellent site.

We were met by a very pleasant man who showed us to a very large spot to pitch our tent and where to hook it up to.
The site was small but very clean with separate areas for tents and caravans. You can't park beside your tent which we didn't find a problem as it wasn't too far to walk.
The downside of this camp was the constant M40 road noise and the lorries that sped past the camp day & night
Also only 2 toilets & showers in the ladies, with no hairdryers or sockets to plug one in to. The showers were so fierce you get pinned to the back of the cubical with the shock. These are very unsuitable for children or elderly although there is a disabled bathroom.
The site is very close to the canal but you have to walk over a really dangerous bridge to get to it.
We found some good pubs in King Sutton which is only 10min in the car or you can walk if you want to dodge the lorries on the road.
This site is very basic so if that's what you are looking for it would be ideal.

This was our first proper camping holiday as a family, and was immensely successful, at least in part because of this lovely little camp site.
The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, happy for us to use our barbecue/firepit for fires in the evenings and the free use of wifi and washing machine was very welcome, particularly with a not entirely toilet trained 3 year old in a sleeping bag!
The site is fairly small and quiet which makes it perfect for family holidays, the children were able to roam without ever going out of eye/earshot and the 7 and 6 year old could take themselves off to the toilets etc.
There is no play equipment for children, but the combination of charming paths/walkways for explorer/hiding games and space to play ballgames meant they did not complain of boredom once in 8 days.
We found a lovely walk across fields to the local vilage of Kings Sutton where there is a decently stocked shop and a play park. The canal is lovely to walk along in both directions, and right by the camp site. The canal-side walk to Banbury where there is a shopping centre/supermarkets etc took a couple of hours but was easily done by my 3 year old.
The toilet block/showers and all sinks were kept in lovely condition at all times.
The only real downside to the site is that it is not ideal for non-drivers as it is some distance from train stations, and there is not a lot locally if you want access to less basic entertainment.
Having said that there is a bus service to/from Banbury that stop right outside the campsite, and the day we caught it, the driver was very tolerant of the hassles of offloading 2 adults/ kids/ buggy/ bags of shopping/bags of firewood and 3 fishing nets etc!
The road right outside the campsite is very dangerous for children, but so long as you have them under control is fine, and none of us were disturbed by road noise etc.
Really good value for money and a lovely site - we already plan to book for 2 weeks next year.

This is a very nice quiet site too many spaces so no overcrowding. A nice small but very scenic tent lawn. We stopped here to travel to races at Silverstone so not sure what else is about. Nice clean shower block. The only downside is that tv reception is not great so you may not get all the channels you wish. We had to mess around with the aerial for a while to get a few and noticed others doing the same. The site could do with a booster aerial that everyone can plug into. The free wifi did not work, I was given a password that did not seem to connect. I could find the network but said I had no coverage. I consider myself ok with pc`s and tried everything for the 3 days we were there but no joy. Password was in putted correctly time and time again. Apart from that we had a good time. The road noise mentioned by others from the m40 is constant, I am a light sleeper so always wake anyway but it is there in the background but manageable. There is a chip van that comes Friday nights but we found it expensive

Fantastic site.
Great walking available! canal walk only 100 yards from Campsite
Very clean - spotless! even a free washing machine dryer on site!
Noise from road was noticeable but not a problem! Very sheltered and pretty.
Easy links to surrounding areas. Used as a bas for Stratford.
Lovely pubs in Kings Sutton, especially Butchers Arms. Impressed with Chinese takeaway inside other pub in village. Fish and Chip van on the Friday night was superb and excellent value as well!
Was impressed by friendliness of Owners!
Will definitely visit again if can get in as a very popular site.

Just back from a really good weekend at this lovely campsite. Site itself is in a beautiful setting amongst landscaped gardens. No Playground for children but our 8 year old had a fantastic time exploring and climbing. Very personal site, only space for a few tents but that's what we wanted. We didn't venture too far but other campers recommended the local villages for food and drink. Only downside was the road noise, but with the help of our battery radio we forgot about it. Toilets/showers very clean. Welcome chip van on arrival after 3 hour drive. We will be back.

I can't fault Twilite Leisure Park one bit. It's not a huge site, but as a result doesn't get overrun with people.
The tent field is nice and flat, and although pitches aren't marked, the site was quiet so this wasn't an issue.
The toilet block is spotless. The shower heads are a little over-zealous but the water was hot and plenty of it. What more could you want?
It's clean, tidy and has everything you need. There's also a pub within a 15 minute walk - I didn't get chance to go but it's nice to know it's there.
The place is reasonably priced and the staff are very pleasant. You can hear a little noise from the nearby motorway but it soon fades into the background.
It could do with more signage to help find the site, but once you're there you'll be very happy!
