We used this site as a one night stopover. Well located, and sited alongside a canal, such that we couldn't resist a morning walk with the dog before getting under way the next day!
Excellent facilities which are located in a modernised brick kiln.
N.B. As we did not stay beyond the one night we did not intend to rate certain aspects (value and customer service) of this site, as we did not feel we were there long enough to make an informed judgement.

We arrived to a very warm welcome, very well maintained site. Toilet and shower facilities are very good with a free use of washer dryer. Very good value for money with free internet, plenty of fresh water stand pipes and TV connection points.
There are lovely walks along the canal with Banbury town centre only four miles from the camp site.
Even though no shop on the camp site Sainsbury's is only two miles from the camp site heading back to Banbury.
Overall fantastic little site, would recommend to others and we will be coming back.

Stayed for two night with tent and two motorbikes. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and at £12 a night we thought it was reasonable. You cant park by your tent but this wasn't a problem as there was hardstanding just behind the trees.
The tent area was fairly small but we never felt overcrowded. The site has been landscaped very very well with mature trees mixed with new plantings.
Toilet facilities were excellent. In the converted brick kiln it was really quaint from the outside but very modern and clean inside. Always a good supply of loo roll too! Never had to wait for loos or shower. Word of warning though - if you have a shower prepared to get your hair wet! The shower head isnt moveable and the water pressure is so strong you get soaked from head to foot even if you stand at the back of the cubicle
The road noise was a bit of a problem though. Not the M40 because that was background drone which you got used to especially if the wind was in the right direction. It was the huge lorries which came down the lane by the side of the site that were the problem. There is a local grain store and the lorries seemed to thunder past our tent 24 hours a day.
The walk into Kings Sutton is a bit of a hike! Across the fields and the railway line it took us about 35 minutes. The village itself is lovely. 3 pubs all very nice but the Three Tuns was great! Proper 'locals' pub with Chinese takeaway attached. The takeaway was that good we had one both nights! The second night it was delivered direct to the tent at no extra charge!
We also walked into Banbury along the canal tow path. A walk of about 4 miles which took us an hour. A really lovely walk and Banbury itself is well worth a visit.
Overall I would rate the site as very good apart from the road noise.

Its 19.30 Friday night and the Fish & Chip van has arrived. The site is busy but quiet apart from the gentle hum in the distance from the M40. We arrived Wed and leave Sun but are really impressed, caravan £12pn with EHU Bargain, add to that free wi-fi free use of a washer dryer and immaculate modern toilets & showers and you realise not all caravan sites are here to rip you off. Its worth every penny. Even has extra aerial if needed due to the dip but we can get some freeveiw so that's fine. Canal is not in veiw from here pitch 6 but your right nest to it. Banbury is right - worth a visit good shopping area and nice pubs. Other way we found nothing but going to walk down the road right to King Sutton tommorow, horses in the feild behind us and the tent area is nice flat and seems well drained - lots of nice plants and flowers. Visited Oxford today which was OK but not ideal as we have 2 big dogs and it took about 40mins. To sum it up
*Fab clean loos, hot modern showers.
*Free Wifi
*Free Washer Dryer
*Right on the Oxford Canal
*Excellent Value

This campsite is more geared towards tents. While the tents had a very nice grassed area with gardens to one side the caravan/motorhome area was more like a car park with no grass verges in between and the hard ground was very uneven, it took ages for us to get our caravan as level as we could and we had the misfortune to be put right next to the dustbins, these were not sectioned off which meant no privacy for us as the caravan door faced them.
Apart from that the owners were very friendly and the facilities were excellent

We have just arrived home from a one night stay at Twilite. This was our very 1st camping trip, we were a little worried as we left it till the last minute to find a campsite and all the ones we wanted were fully bookd, Twilite had a cancellation so could fit 2 tents in. The reason we had our reservations about this site is it did not have any children's facilities and seemed very small.
Well I must say we all enjoyed our stay so much and will be returning. Its so relaxed, the toilets and showers were spotless and really nice. The tent area was beautiful and safe for children to run about.
We heard the noise from the M40 but you do get used to it after a while.
I would highly recommend this site.

The name ‘Twilite Leisure Park’ might make you think that this is a large, fairly impersonal site with a big entertainment block etc. Don’t let the name put you off (I nearly did) if that’s not the kind of site you like.
What you’ll find is a smallish, beautifully-landscaped site with lots of garden plants, trees and good historic interest – with access to the canal towpath and facilities housed in a former brick kiln (while another is fascinating in its unrestored state!)
This site is really cared for. The owner’s parents lived here since around 1940, he lives here, and I heard that his children live here in restored cottages. A LOT of money has been invested in restoration of the buildings and the landscaping on the site and the facilities are really, really good.
I was attending a meeting in the area and just stayed for the one night, solo. Cost was £10 for me on a no hook-up pitch, and would have been £10 for two of us, ie £5 each. Bear in mind that the (immaculate, spacious) showers – and yes you get hooks, and a seat - and Wi-Fi are free, the landscaped and restored environment lovely, the canal full of interest, you get 20% off a meal for 2 in the pub in the very pretty local village of King’s Sutton (if you take a brochure), and the owner is friendly without being ‘in your face’.
That’s fabulous value and underpriced in relation to other sites I’ve stayed at. Everyone has mentioned the road noise and yes that's an inconvenience; you need to be prepared for it and not get hung up on it. Also if you're in a tent, be prepared not to be able to park your car by your tent if you choose to camp in the furthest areas - the grass is kept beautifully. I didn't come with children so unable to comment on that.
All in all, I felt really relaxed here – it has the ‘feelgood factor’ in spades – and the owner deserves huge credit for what he’s doing here. Please go, enjoy, and support! Highly recommended and it’ll be TOP of my list when I’m over that way again.

Just spent 2 nights here on our way back from weymouth in dorset. We were very impressed, site was very clean, there was some road noise from the M40.
The new shower block is nice and clean and the site should have a shop of some sort but we had a nice stay here. Chip van calls here on friday night we enjoyed our fish. And at £12.50 per night will visit again.

We have just returned from a weekend at Twilite.
I really cannot fault the site. Fantastic value. The toilet/shower facilities are new and spotless - and being situated in a Grade II listed brick kiln is a bit different from the usual shower blocks!
We pitched on the tent field (we were given a choice of hardstanding or the field) and there was plenty of space for our kids to run and cycle about. The landscaping and planting gave some interest to the tent field.
We walked into Kings Sutton, (2 miles?)- a beautiful walk across the fields, rewarded by a choice of 3 pubs and a lovely walk around a friendly village. There was even a steam train passing on the day we went! There is also the possibility of walking the canal towpath, very peaceful.
The only complaint I could make is that the traffic noise (M40)was there in the background but to be honest I very quickly got used to it and it wasn't an issue.
The owner was extremely helpful and pleasant.
If you're arriving on a Friday (as we did) - note that there is fish and chip van that calls by at 7.45. (Unfortunately we hadn't quite set up by then!).
Highly recommended and we shall return. Thank you.

This is a small friendly site with a lovely clean shower / toilet block. The owners are friendly and try to help where they can.
We went just for the weekend and it was a great break. If your in a caravan it will be on hard standing only, same if you have a trailer tent, no wheels on the grass. However there is a flat grass area for tents, some with electric hook up.
If you plan to visit in either a caravan and want to use an awning or a trailer tent you will need rockpegs to peg into the hardstanding. The M40 motorway is just over a field away so you can hear the drone all the time. Personally this didn't take long to get used too and certainly didn't stop us sleeping or relaxing! (the natural bowl the site is in blocks the noise a little.) Some people we met who were staying in tents also said they slept okay despite the drone. I believe its worth a visit for a weekend or a night.
No children ourselves yet (although one on the way but the others seemed happy playing with footballs, cycles etc that they had brought with them. Apart from the grass area there are no child facilities on the site.
