Fantastic site! Sat Nav was sending us the wrong way but the owner found us in the lanes and we followed him. Very friendly - the little boy is adorable and would spend all day playing if he could, I'm sure! We had a firepit both evenings, along with a bbq. Fridge, freezer and kettle are fantastic, especially in the colder months. I made a hot water bottle of an evening! Toilet facilities great and the local pub - The Three Tuns served us a lovely lunch and glass of wine. Will definitely return and I recommend to anyone. The animals on the farm are great for children to go and see. The pig is huge!

This camp site is the best I've ever stayed at. The hosts- Mary and Steve are the most genuine friendly people that you could come across. The pitch we had was great - level, but there were sloped ones too. It was lambing season whilst we were here so limited fields to use. Whilst on the subject of lambing. Ace time to come. We watched lambs being born and could even help out! Steve works so hard on his farm but always has time to stop and chat.Mary is busy cooking, running B&B that is on site and entertaining Sam her 4 year old son.
Mary cooked us a super cooked breakfast on our first morning, which was a delight! £5 and well worth it! You can also order evening meals too. Fantastic!
The facilities are really good. 2 Big shower rooms, ideal for families with small children. 1 separate toilet. Rarely had to queue to use these. There is also a really good kitchenette that has a microwave, freezer / fridge and kettle. I even used this space to blow dry my hair. How luxurious is that!
Can't rave about this place more. Splendid views, great to stay and get involved on the farm. Lovely walks nearby, Shropshire way on your door step. We had a couple of camp fires whilst we were here too. Bliss!
Bishops castle is a great town. Great pubs- we ate at the 6 Bells and the 3 tuns. Fantastic food at both. Great beer too! 3 Tuns has its own brewery. About a 30 min walk into town from the farm.Or a 10 min drive. Local co-op and petrol station that provides all you need. Fantastic campsite! We've just had the best time over Easter. We've booked to go again at the end of May. Brilliant for kids, our little boy loved it!

This was our second visit to this site, and we're going again at the end of August. It's the best site we've ever been to and the only improvement my wife can suggest is that it could do with a sea view - but that's probably asking a bit too much from a land-locked county. Instead, you get a great view of the Shropshire Hills.
It's within easy distance of several countryside walks, and a mostly downhill cycle into Bishops Castle. Mostly uphill on the way back, however.
The site is on a farm run by Steve and Mary. It's very relaxed - no marked out pitches -and there is plenty of space, as they limit the number of tents they'll accept at any time.
There are two toilet/shower rooms - both kept impeccably clean - one is larger and ideal for a family to use. The showers are electric and reliably warm at all times! There is a honesty pot for the charge of £1 per show - which may seem a little steep in camping terms, but we feel it's worth it for this standard of facility.
Bishops Castle is a smallish town and bears a little exploring, but you'll probably either want to go further afield to the many other interesting places nearby or take advantage of the excellent walking opportunities. In BC itself, there are a couple of pubs with their own microbreweries, which are well worth trying out - the Three Tuns is very family friendly; the Six Bells is less so - take your pick!
Mary also runs a B&B and offers to cook you an excellent breakfast for a small fee - in case your feeling ultra lazy!

Smashing site!
Mary & Steve are truly friendly & helpful; with nice clean loos & showers, a well-drained field (our bit was, at least!), lovely views, quiet & peaceful atmosphere. What more could you ask!
We went along tired & in need of a therapeutic break, and this was just what we needed.
The local town has everything you need for food - co-op, deli; and some interesting other shops too. Including a hairdressers which has a sign welcoming walkers!
Nice bookshops too.
We cooked on site most of the time, but did try the Three Tuns pub one evening - pleasant & friendly.
And it's an education in just how hard farmers work!
We hope to be back.

Very relaxed campsite. Good atmosphere. The pitches are a bit on the slope as it is in the hills, but the views make up for it. Very good price and the facilities are really clean and good. The working farm that the site is on makes for an interesting walk. A hilly cycle into nearby Bishops Castle lets you get to lots of good pubs and shops. Great site, will visit again.

We have just come back from a fantastic camping experience. Despite the torrential and continuous rain we found a wonderful piece of heaven. Steve and Mary are very welcoming. The view from our pitch was the rolling hills of Shropshire (infact Steves opening comment was pick a field!). The site is limited to 10 pitches so it was very peaceful and each pitch had huge amounts of space. The facilities were clean and comfortable. For us with young children it was perfect. Thank you for a great time see you soon.

Brilliant site all the reviews here say it all probably the most relaxing break ever and so peaceful in the evenings.I can't sing praises enough for this site. Owners were very nice and the farm animals are great! The kids loved feeding the hens, amazing views, showers/toilets as clean as any I have seen. Will definitely be going back.

From Hannah's dad, Yes, the site was just how she described it.
We had a lovely time, Bishops Castle is a very nice market town, it was also farmers market so we bought local cheese, cider etc.
This site is well worth a visit, run by a very nice family, we will go again.

Had a brilliant time at this farm. The views are amazing from wherever you pitch. We stayed a week with a baby and five year old, and the facilities were excellent. Shower rooms great, always clean, always empty when we wanted to use them. The kitchen with fridge, freezer and microwave came in very handy. You can even swap your ice packs with some provided whilst yours freeze. Even though there are such excellent facilities it is still, a good working farm. No noisy club house or over priced shop here! The best campsite I have been to, not sure how our next camping trip will compare now.
My dad thought it sounded so good he is off there himself in a couple of weeks!
