This is a fantastic site! We stayed in a large tent, 2 couples and 4 dogs for 3 nights. The site was very well maintained and had fantastic views over the cliffs.
The toilet block and shower facilities were good and cleaned regularly. Plenty of electric hook ups and water taps dotted around the field. Set out with caravans round the edge of the field and tents in the middle.
Really good pub/resturant on site where we sat out on the decking in the sun, with the dogs and had a lovely meal.
Short(but steep)walk down to the sandy and very clean beach, the dogs had a great time running in and out of the surf! Most mornings and evenings we had the beach to ourselves. Also when the tide goes out it's great for rockpooling.
Apparently you can see dolphins from the beach, we didn't, but were lucky enough to see them twice from the harbour at New Quay(short drive away).
We had a great time and were all impressed with this friendly site. Could do with a shop as none within walking distance, although a man in a van came round daily with papers, drinks and sweets etc.
Highly recommend for caravanners and campers.

Our first time for a full weeks camping, This is a very nice well kept site,we found the owners to be very accommodating and far from frosty couldn`t do enough for you.
Our children 7 and 10 made lots of friends, we were happy for them to go off on their own as the site is very safe something we wouldn`t do on a Haven type of site. There was a play area and a good tree to climb.
Toilet block always very clean with plenty of hot water.
The restaurant was very nice the food was excellent.
Now for the bad bit DOGS, the site has strict rules that dogs are to be kept on a lead which is fair enough we found dog mess near our tent the people next to us had mess by the hedge after the caravan next door had left. Dog owners are told to walk their dogs down the lane, unfortunately most dog owners walk them down to the beach which seems to have become a dog toilet! with mess on the footpath leading from the campsite.
To sum up this is an excellent site I just wish they would ban dogs if not from the site then from the beach (which is not the camp sites problem but the local council) during the tourist season like they do at all National Trust beaches.

Had a great time at this site, camping with 4 adults and one child and a dog.
The site was located down some small lanes (if you had a large motor home may be a bit difficult) but when we saw the site, what a great choice. The site offered spaces on the external fringe for motor homes & caravans, then the road that went around the site with grass to the inner square for tents & caravans.
Toilets/showers/pub/restaurant were all great. The beach was rocky with sand and the kids had a great time looking in the rock pools and the alike. Sun sets to die for, every night, unbelievable. Site was also in a good location for day trips. Access to the beach was down the path to the side of the site near the dog run. Site staff were friendly as were all campers.
Only one gripe and this is not against the site, but against other dog owners that can't be bothered to pick up their own dogs mess.
All in all one of our better ones.
Would definitely recommend, one to visit.

This was our 1st ever camping experience and we loved it! Ok it was a bit expensive, but at the same time, I'm a great believer in the 'you get what you pay for'.
The beach was slightly stoney in areas, but pleasant enough!
We took a short car journey to Aberporth. Well worth it! Great beach. The weather we had really helped too.
The showers on site were of a good standard, always kept clean, but unfortunately always wet too, so you never had anywhere dry to stand to get ready. Not too much of a bad point I don't think.
We didn't eat at the club, but did go for drinks, reasonably priced. The kids played on the small park, while we relaxed.
Great views.
Pitches arent too close to one another.
Overall a good find, and we would return!

First time camping but couldn't have picked a better site to start. Very clean and tidy with views over Cardigan Bay. Showers and toilets cleaned daily and all the hot water at no extra cost. Facilities on site, bar and restaurant, tried both, beer fine food good. EHU available on outside pitches. Went mid week so very quiet, Friday started livening up but no real problems with noise, very friendly people both staff and other visitors. Beach very close, fell asleep to the sounds of the sea - also the sound of the sheep, but it is Wales. Very easy drive into New Quay although a stroll down the beach shouldn't be too bad. Saw the dolphins, which made the trip well worthwhile and we intend to visit again after trying a few more trips to get the hang of things. Follow the site directions to find it, the road isn't as bad as trying to follow the normal road signs. I found most other drivers courteous and willing to wait when passing oncoming traffic.

After visiting here on several occasions, and having had very pleasant stays, we were a little disappointed when we turned up for a weekend break to find the site very very busy. We were allocated a pitch that was impossible to get level on (36) in a motorhome. The caravan that was pitching next to us (once their awning was erected) was about 3ft away from our van, people seemed to be crammed in wherever they could get! I`m not knocking the site but when we explained our predicament to the site managers the reception was a little frosty to say the least. We have since received an e-mail from them suggesting we find somewhere else to camp!

We are fairly novice at the world of camping so were really pleased to find such a warm welcome and such a wonderful site. Even the resident dogs welcomed me with a fuss!
The site is well situated being only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I love the fact that the beach doesn't exclude dogs at all. They had a whale of a time.
The toilet/shower facilities were clean and never had to queue.
We enjoyed a very tasty meal at the Tavern which was enhanced by the view over the sea. (No problems experienced with service) To sit on the terrace watching the sun go down was such a pleasure for us.
Although we didn't use him, we saw the delivery man.
We only stayed a couple of nights but I would be prepared to stay here much longer. It was nothing but great. Starry skies and the sound of the sea lulled you to sleep. So lovely.

Got to agree with all good comments the only tiny fault was the lack of a shop on site otherwise perfect. Spoke to a lot of people who had stayed over and over again we would definitely stay again if we venture down to that part of Wales again. Take a trip to Aberaeron not as hilly as New Quay.

Twin axles beware. The entrance to the site is extremely tight for twins + large 4x4. It took me about 10mins to get around the bend and eventually made it with millimetres to spare (and I would class myself as an experienced caravanner!). I also got into an argument with a car driver that wouldn't (couldn't) reverse back in the narrow lanes leading from the site.
Now that is out of the way, the park itself is fantastic with great views over the bay. The restaurant was very accommodating and fitted us in (3 people) without a booking even though it was full. Prices were quite reasonable for food and drinks and the food quality is first class.
Toilets/showers were fine but could have been a little hotter - but I like my showers very hot.
The kids play park is at the entrance and is overlooked by the verandah of the restaurant so you can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a nice beverage.
One downside is that the pitches around the edge are not very long and my TA was touching the hedge and the A frame still overhung the road. Impossible to put an awning up with tie downs on a lot of the pitches, so if you are going to book a TA+ awning make sure you ask for a pitch big enough.
The area around Cei Bach is beautiful with plenty to see and do. Newquay is very picturesque and lots of nice places to explore.
All in all I really enjoyed the weekend and would have liked to stay longer. Well worth a visit but should stay for a week or more.
