August 2004 An enjoyable visit to this campsite, slightly up the hill from the coast, giving views over the bay. Site only half full, so nobody had to use the more awkward sloping pitches and leaving space for children to play. Family friendly with no excessive noise at night and plenty of signs to remind you about this and every other aspect of the site. Toilets very clean, but remember that toilet roll, soap and towel as nothing is provided. The tiny, pay-to-wash-up facility is a joke - boil your own water! Swimming pool open 10-5, but we were on the beach those hours; a ten minute walk down the lane, passing a reasonable local shop on the way.
Only problem was wasps, which seem to be everywhere this year - so take your anti-insect weaponry.

July 2004 A lovely place to visit, was a bit noisy on fri/sat evening ie; shouting and laughing, we were assured it was not normally like that. Friendly people, showers, toilets were very clean, nice pool area with seperate pool for children.

July 2004 The site was in a stunning location, wonderful views over the bay. We felt that the facilities were very basic, washing up sinks had one hot tap for the whole campsite, which had to be paid for, then took a while to heat up creating huge queues during peak times. Toilet block was clean and functional. Perhaps if they had used a shoe horn they could have packed a few more tents in! Conclusion, the ingredients of a wonderful site which has not made its potential due to cost cutting on some basic facilities (and toilet roll!)

22nd - 26th July 2004 I have to say, I quite enjoyed my visit to Oxwich Camping Park. It’s very spread out, with lots of trees to make it look perfectly environmental. Also, having a small swimming pool makes a change to other campsites I’ve visited, but the only slight problem is that it looks a bit imprisoned. Oxwich Camping Park attracts lots of campers overall, although I have to admit the staff definitely have to start putting loo roll in the toilets! But, of course, even though I didn’t really get a chance to talk to any of the staff, I’m sure they are very friendly, helpful people! Most of the time I felt rather relaxed and happy at Oxwich Camping Park. By Dora Yemm, aged 12.

May 2004 Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend 2004 The new toilet and shower block facility were spotless. The Campsite was lovely and clean. Camp site has a capacity of 180 tents. The campsite was full and we weren't like sardines. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and they had a great time. The site was not noisy and very family friendly. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and made lots of new friends. Staff were exceptionally helpful. The beach is only a 5 minute walk where there is also a pub! No electric hook ups but they provide a freezer pack service at 25p per pack. Cant wait to go back again.

Summer 2003 We live only 20 mins away, but we could be any where. Campsite very nice (if a little hilly). Toilets Clean and basic, staff very helpful and pleasant. The main plus points, beautiful beach close buy, nice little pool and no drunken groups (all important when you have young children). Will be returning as soon as the weather gets warmer (lets hope).

August 2003 Pleasant staff, very quiet and clean facilities. The weather was great whilst we were there - which may have accounted for the plague of wasps that appeared when you ate anything. It was very busy which may explain why they couldn't cope with freezing ice-blocks very well. Despite being so busy, there seemed very little car movements on the site, which made it feel safe for children. There is no shop on-site but a small one near the beach.

august 2003 lovely camp site very clean and tidy. No loud partying noises in the night. Showers and toilets clean but remember to take toilet paper with you as this is not supplied. A lovely place just to sit and relax and a nice little pool for these hot summer days. All in all a lovely camp site.

July 2003 If you want the quiet life this is the place to go.
Come 11.00 nightime there was hardly a sound to be heard, no pets, cars or late night party hounds, and this with a couple of hundred tents on site.
Well worth a vist, I will be going back.

July 2003 I found this site to be both more expensive than other sites and the facilities were lacking too. The site looks good, but the facilities were poor. Paying for hot water (scandalous considering the pitching fee) and no toilet paper!!!!! Its a large site so three showers for males is too few. In summary, nice site, poor facilities and expensive.
