Stayed here on a Caravan Club Rally. Their website says they have a swimming pool, but we couldn't find it. There is a lot of work going on, so I suspect there is a pool in the pipeline. The toilets are no longer a portacabin as mentioned by the previous reviewer, They are now located at the rear of the bar / club house / restaurant. Not the cleanest toilets I have seen, but that said, they probably got a lot more use with the caravan club bringing an extra 200 caravans on top of their normal 60 pitches. There seemed to be a shortage of toilets and showers, but again, probably due to the unusually high number of people there. The site is about 1 1/2 - 2 miles from Trostre retail park which has a decent size branch of Tescos as well as McDonalds, HMV, Pizza Hut, Boots, Halfords and a number of other stores who's names escape me. Drinks at the bar were positively cheap. The site offers a view across the estuary of north Gower and is a short drive from the Gower, Bury Port and Pembrey Country park, all of which offer beautiful beaches.

Rather overpriced for an unremarkable location. At least it was for a small tent. Distant rumble of the A484, portacabin toilets, not big enough for everyone. 1 mile walk from nearest bus stop. No nearby shops. Ground is rock hard, couldn't get any of my tent pegs in, (had to borrow a masonry drill and a generator from the gypsies who live next door).

Hi,we have stayed here 4 times in all and are so pleased with it we are buying a caravan so that we can continue visiting through the winter. Very friendly and on the occasions that we have been camping here they have always come round to ask if everything is ok, and that you are happy with everything. The views of the Gower are fantastic and the cycle path is right by with some lovely walks, my sister came with me once and was very impressed. All in all we took 9 kids with us from the age of 9-13 and they all loved it as they had so much room to play football and cricket so they can,t wait to go back again next year with their tents. We cant wait that long hence the caravan.Highly recommended!

I have visited this site on numerous occasions and have never found fault! The family that run this site are extremely welcoming and very helpful. The on site adventure play ground is a godsend! We are always welcomed warmly - something that does not always happen when you are a single woman camping with a child!
We only live 20 mins away from this site but my 5 year old insists on visiting as often as possible. The timings are very flexible and you are able to arrive as early as you want and you are never hurried off site. The owners check with you every day to ensure that you are enjoying. The coastal walk here is also amazing - I can not praise this site enough - take your bikes! :-)
