Very nice site. Well laid out around the fields. Easy to find and friendly welcome.
Showers and toilets were always clean. There is a single pot washing sink, outside the shower block.
Plenty of room for the kids to play on the field.
There are a couple of local shops within 15 minute walk and plenty of supemarkets and shops dotted about, towards Bournemouth.
Moors Valley Country Park is a 20 minute walk along the main road, which is a great day out for the family.
Again, really nice site and would go again if ever we wanted to go back to Bournemouth

Stayed at this site for a fortnight in July this year. Despite the weather not being the best we had a nice time for the fortnight. The site is spread over 2 separate fields which are flat and sheltered. The owners were very friendly and the toilets and showers seemed to be constantly getting cleaned. On the down side the site could get a bit cramped at the weekends with perhaps a few too many units on the field. Also as a result of this the 3 showers(free of chg) seemed constantly to be queued for. There were 2 toilet blocks (1 in a portakabin and 1 adjoining the farmhouse which also contained the showers)> I felt it could benefit from a 2nd shower area.
In summary despite the cramped conditions at the w/end the site & owners were nice and for a reasonable price I would rate this as good value for money in the area.

We had one night here in July last year. I liked the layout of the site and it felt very spacious and so nice to find a site that hadn't packed 'em in.
It was such a nice quiet site but with children clearly having a good time.
Owners very helpful and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The shower facilities were excellent for such a small site. My only problem was the sound of the dogs. Don't know if there is hunting kennels nearby but I could hear a lot of dogs a little way away.
Having said that, if I plan to go that area again this will be my first port of call definitely.

What a lovely site! Two fields to camp/caravan in so plenty of room to play around. Lovely to take dogs too. Nice showers and toilets. The camping field surrounded by trees felt very safe for the children to play.
Garden Centre, Pub and Moors Valley very near by. About 20 mins from beach and 10 mins from Forest. Would deffinatley go again.

A lovely campsite. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed mid week so all peaceful. Despite it being a small campsite, the fact that it has only 3 showers on site would mean I would probably avoid staying over a weekend or bank holiday but perfect for 2-3 days midweek.
The site would benefit from the washing up area having a light and some sort of cover over it. Ideally situated for cycling off-road to the wonderful Moors Valley Country Park in Ringwood Forest and a great day out was had at Liberty's Raptor & Reptile Centre near Ringwood.

We stayed whitsun bank holiday for the week we were a little bit late booking and unfortunately all of the electric pitches were taken until the Monday, just ask if you want ice packs freezing or batteries charged all FOC. Even though the site was full there was plenty of space between pitches, a bit of a queue for the showers until monday when the site returned to normal.
When you arrive you don't get a list of rules thrown at you and every one behaved impeccably even the group of students who camped in what I describe as Lorraine and Baz's back garden {the very friendly owners }
Lovely setting, nice location, a pub within walking ditance 1/2 mile left or right out of the site, good local shop supermarkets within 5 mins drive, all in all excellent value nice clean site with friendly owners
Would definitely return {Baz if you read this don't hesitate to turn that cow shed into extra showers}

This is a very good camp site. The fields are well kept, so are the toilets & showers all very clean and tidy, hot water whenever. We went on a bank holiday, and never had to queue
There is a garden centre 400 yds or so up the road, and a pub the other way too.
The only thing that we didn't like was the noisy dogs, there is a dog walking area,but not used by some.
The price is very good too, unlike other New Forest camping sites!

Have just returned from our second visit this year to Gundrys Farm (The first visit 3 weeks ago) Upon phoning for price this time we were told it would be £11 per night, after leaving it a few days to reccy weather I phoned to book and was told it would actually be £12 per night for tent plus 50p per person per night. I still think this is reasonable as this price is consistent throughout the season.
The site is very clean and since our last visit they have updated the washing up sink with a hot tap and a proper plug. The showers (3 unisex) were spotlessly clean and had enough hooks on the door to hang a full camping wardrobe and towels etc! The showers were lovely and hot and even though we visited on a BH weekend we never had to queue.
The pitches were very spaced out with ample space for tent / trailer / car and without feeling you were on top of your neighbour. There is a large area in the middle for ball games and kids to run riot. A few local shops are within walking distance (including Forest Camping for any forgotten items, gas etc) Moors Valley was about a half hour easy walk (Ask wardens for directions for short cut) Dogs are made very welcome, with a dog track around the perimeter.
Overall we were made very welcome and I will definitely be visiting again

This is a great little campsite, very clean and tidy. The stewards are very friendly and helpful, they let us blow up our air bed in the barn as we didn't have hook up at the time.
The toilets and showers are kept clean and there's always hot water. Nice little base for The New Forest etc. Wasn't bothered by excess noise or anything, had a really good time. Would definitely stay here again next time we're down that way.

This was our first time camping as a family and we had a great time! - we even took our two boxer dogs and they loved it too :-)
We were greeted by the site manager who was lovely and openly chatted with the kids.
We were shown to our pitch and advised of the location of all amenities and advised over general rules of the site etc.
The site is basic but lovely - just what we had wanted. They have a unisex shower block with three very good sized showers and two toilets and then a separate set of toilets just around the corner split Male / Female. The showers were hot whenever you wanted to use them and the toilet blocks cleaned regularly throughout the day.
It really was a superb break and the kids played with the other children in the large field.
Moors Valley Country Park is easily within walking distance [although not when 7 mths pregnant as I was!] and there is a shop literally just up the road.
We'll definitely go again! Thanks for a great holiday.
