Good clean site, excellent play area, toilets and swimming pool. A short walk to the beach with loads of fossils to find and a river to paddle in!! The kids loved it...

nice site a bit noisy in the evening , but not dreadful
great play area for kids(didn`t see my 2, for 2 days (was observing from a distance though)
pool nice .lady would not let any kids in unsupervised.
club opened a little late (20.00hrs) for us toddler gone to bed!!!
close to shops each and pubs,(nice butchers nearby.)
would go again

This site has improved a lot since I last visited 10 years ago.
The facilities are basic but kept clean & tidy.The showers run on a short time delay which is a bit annoying but after all you are camping so it`s ok!
There is a good play park to amuse the kids & a club with entertainment(a good ol` fashioned knees up)in high season.
The family that own it are very friendly & helpful and really enjoy what they do,(they never seem to employ any staff).
Charmouth itself is a lovely place nestled in a valley between Bridport & Lyme Regis.Great beach for safe bathing & fossil collectors a few minutes walk from campsite.
