Great little site in a great location. Once there you could be anywhere. The hustle and bustle of the town centre seems miles away, when in fact it's about a 5 minute walk.
Two minutes for a lovely walk round the lake.
Very helpful wardens who are very welcoming and have improved security.
Ample space on the pitches.
Facilities are adequate with hot showers but would benefit from modernisation.
Bookings only and ring ahead so Mick can meet you and let you through the security barriers.
Great location and set up. Have been twice and will be going again.

Two night stay with a group of retired colleagues a mixture of campervans, motorhomes and caravans.
Upgraded security measures at the site require ringing on ahead immediately prior to arrival to facilitate access, well done to the new owners for these additional measures.
New owners really helpful and pleasant very early days for them but I wish them all the best with obvious plans to improve facilities.
Toilet and shower block in need of a refurb but having said that they are more than adequate so don’t be put off by them.
Two minute walk into Worksop town centre, which makes a stark contrast from this green and pleasant oasis, with the resident ducks and other bird life.

Pleasant site ideally located for Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, walking distance to town, lots of lovely dog walks.
Stayed seasonal, overpriced for dated facilities, although kept clean, biggest risk is flooding, the whole site ends up underwater from the river. Many caravans have been written off in recent years.

Quite site next to the cricket club which you can use while at the site, flat pitches grass and hardstanding, T. V. Signal is restricted due to large trees so satalite or WiFi best for TV.
Showers and toilets are clean and tidy if a little dated, electric showers.
A lot of pitches are seasonal, the road into the site is over a small bridge with a tight turn on but larger units can enter/ leave through a different gate if you contact the owner /warden who was pleasant and helpful.
Worksop centre is 100yds from the site entrance large super markets are a short drive away.
Will use the site again if we visit the area. £30 a night no extras

Access is past the cricket club (which has a good bar) then a barrier controlled access.
The warden was very helpful. There are about 40 pitches all with electric (10 amp)though about 75 % of pitches were taken up with seasonal users.
It is an easy 10 minute walk to town with Asda the nearest supermarket though there are all the usual supermarkets within a couple of miles.
For caravan spares, Robinsons is about 2 miles away.

Great location close to shops and canal.
Only let down was poor tv signal.
Plenty of pubs and places to get a bite to eat.
Didn't use the cricket club bar so can't comment on that.

This is a very friendly site right in the middle of Worksop.
The loos & showers are not really adequate for the number of units on the site.
The Lady that runs the site is very friendly and helpful.

What a superb campsite, the facilities are fantastically clean, Kathy and the team do a great job in keeping the site up to a very good standard and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
The location is ideal, 2 minutes walk from town which has an abundance of pubs restaraunts and shops
The canal side walks are beautiful with loads of different wildlife,
We will definitely return to this site!

Really liked this campsite.
Very accessible and lovely stream through site. Small and exclusive.
