Beautiful site, friendly reception, clean and excellent toilet and shower block.
Easy access for Ullswater and a walkers paradise.
On this occasion the weather was brilliant for the time of year.
Would recommend this site.

Great location for the southern lakes just off the M6.
Toilet block needs update, dirty walls and ceiling 2 out of the 4 strip lights did not work. The washing up area lighting did not work.
The pitches were tight with not much room.
The lovely photo of the pond on site is years old as it is now dried up and full of weeds. Saw a few people including ourselves had to ring a number on arrival as no one was in reception.

Nice quiet little site with a pub just at entrance.
Site is very pretty being between a stream and a canal feeder,
Toilets and showers were adequate but could've done with a good clean and some heating.
Easy access from M6.
We only stayed one night as stopover on our way home, but would go back again for a stopover.

Nice linear site between river and canal feeder; handy for motorway but quiet.
Access beside KT's coaches.
Good facilities and showers;
Very helpful warden; squeezed us in at short notice at bank holiday.
Keg bar but adjacent to pub-restaurant.

What a delightful site! A peaceful little riverside oasis within a couple of minutes walking distance to a great pub serving delicious food.
Very close to the village of Milnthorpe for shops Indian, Chinese and Pizza/Kebab takeaways, Booths and a decent sized Spar. Kendal is approx 20 minute drive away.
Lovely walks on the doorstep, including beautiful canal side walk.
The site is beautifully laid out and cared for, the warden is helpful and friendly. We didn’t use the showers so unable to review
Definitely one to return to.

Lovely site, we returned here after finding it last year.
Facilities were good with plentiful hot water, bar only open 2 days at the weekend but there’s a pub just up the road if you need it!
Great walks alongside river running beside site, and down local lanes with very little traffic.
Well placed for access to/from the M6 as well as access to The Lakes.

Our first ever trip away in our caravan with our grandchildren. Couldn’t have been more happy with the campsite.
Staff were falling over themselves to help and the site facilities were beautiful.
Spotlessly clean and adequate for our needs,
Would recommend to anyone, experienced or like ourselves, not.
800 yds from 3 supermarkets, 1 and 1/4 miles from Kendal town centre. Perfect.

The facilities were 10 minutes walk away from the field where we pitched our tent.
Everything else was very nice and excellent location for walks, tea room, pub and roads.
I would go again if toilets were available in the Meadow field where we pitched our tent.

Toilets and showers not open, said reason no one to clean, one disabled toilet open for everyone no window just small extractor fan disappointed.
Felt it would have been covid safer to have opened the main toilet block and kept them clean

Visited the site with our eldest son (28) for a few days get away as we had not been able to take our original planned holiday …. A cruse to Alaska earlier on in the year due to Covid - 19.
A very nice little site with good clean facilities and good Covid - 19 rules.
Only gave the site 8/10 for location as its around 15/20 mins drive into Kendal and overall mark 9/10 for this reason other than that.
The owner/manager was vary good and helpful. We would use this site again without a second thought *****
