Well maintained site. Very picturesque.
Good pub opposite- and excellent cafe on site.
Could do with some signage when you arrive to know where to go to register.
Once met up with the owner was fine. Friendly and helpful.
Very convenient location for the Traditional music day in Stowmarket.

The location is small but really pretty, with a stunning lake and streem that offers a serene view. The grounds are immaculate and well-maintained, making it a joy to set up camp and relax.
One of the highlights of our stay was the on-site café. The food was amazing, offering a variety of delicious options that pleased both adults and children alike.
Speaking of kids, the small park and trampoline were a big hit with our little ones—they spent hours playing and having fun.
While the toilets are small, with only two cubicles, they are exceptionally clean and well-cared for and the shower is lovely and hot! which is a big plus.
Additionally, there is a pub just across the road that is perfect for a visit. It’s an easy reach from the campsite, making it convenient to pop over for a meal or a drink.
Booking our stay was super easy, although the lady who handled our reservation was a bit grumpy. However, we were part of a group, which might have contributed to the situation.
A couple of minor downsides: you can hear the busy road a bit if the wind is blowing in that direction, and there's a cockerel that might wake you up early in the morning if you're camped near the car park.
However, these were easy to ignore and didn't detract from the overall experience. Plus, parking right next to the camp was very convenient.
In conclusion, Lakeside Haven Campsite is a wonderful place for a camping getaway. With its stunning location, immaculate grounds, excellent on-site amenities, and easy access to local attractions, it’s a spot I would highly recommend.

Camp site was lovely and clean, bit of confusion when booking and checking in but once we knew where we were pitching it was all systems go,
The owner is lovely and very welcoming,
Facilities were spotlessly clean,
Nice park on site if you have younger children,
If fishing is your thing then the lake looked ideal, if not its a lovely view to wake up to,
The food at the on site bistro Cafe was amazing! Wished it was open on our last day as we just wanted to try everything! Pub literally across the road too!
Quite a small pitch which was ideal for us but could have been better if the pitches weren't so close together as we did have someone knock one of our guy ropes out.
Could possibly benefit for some rules putting in place ie noise level at certain times of the night and very early in the morning, but that isn't a reflection on the site more the people visiting.
All in all was a very nice place to stay and would recommend for anyone wanting a small friendly clean site with picturesque views.

Pat was very welcoming on arrival. Found a great spot to pitch up. Showers and toilets clean and modern, plenty of hot water.
All the pitches pretty much overlook the fishing lake with unobstructed views. Mains to each pitch but the furthest ones would need a longer lead, no water on pitch so a trip to the shower block to fill up.
Fishing was £10 per day for 2 rods, plenty of decent size carp, low to mid 20’s. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but was told by the regulars that it was good food and reasonable costs, there’s a pub dead opposite the site as well.
Stowmarket wasn’t far away but a drive, we had bikes but felt that the road was a race track so wasn’t used.
Visited Lavenham well worth the visit.
Overall was a nice stay with good facilities, will definitely go back next year.

Friendly environment very welcoming and clean,
The ducklings even came over to say hi when we got to the site we were pitching our tent.
Even though the weather was not on our side it was a fantastic experience.
Would love to come back just for a weekend away where we can relax and enjoy the views of the lake and the nice and peaceful nature at.
It’s best
