We have stayed here many times as it's a small, well maintained site.
There's lots of space between hard standing pitches in the front field so it never feels crowded. The back field is more open for tent campers.
It's a lovely village with a great local pub, 5 mins walk down the road.
Andy the owner is very friendly.

A lovely site in quiet location.
Easy access to 2 village pubs and great walks locally.
Basic, but clean facilities and friendly owners.
We enjoyed an electric pitch alongside our friends, which made it easier for socialising.

Very basic campsite.
Only 2 toilets for all campers and no showers.
Ideal for a weekend away but any longer feels like it drags.
Andrew was friendly and greeted us upon arrival.

Good flat site in the heart of Sussex. Friendly host!
We had hardstanding which was handy given we picked one of the wettest weekends of the summer. In saying that, drainage in the camping field must have been good as no problems there for campers
Lanes to site a little narrow but that may have been me being a nervous newby at the time.
Hopefully returning this

A very relaxed site and a good place to stay.
Basic facilities and no showers or shop, so make sure you can manage that, but the owner is very friendly and the site has lovely views and is just a short walk from The Six Bells pub which is lively and has lots of music and things going on.
I'd recommend visiting Farley's House and Garden, about 20 minutes' walk up the road.
Amazing exhibition of photos and a surrealist sculpture garden!
Would definitely come back :o)

We were recommended this site by friends, Andrew the owner was friendly and helpful,
The site is lovely and peaceful and just a short walk to the local pub where they serve good food and have live music playing.
The toilets were clean, the only downside being that the field where they were situated was still very boggy from the recent constant rain.
Other than that we’d recommend this site and shall be returning

The site was nice but basic. We used a hard-standing pitch just inside the main entrance which was large and level.
Electric hook-up worked well for our heater and kettle. It was quiet and dark so we had a good night's sleep.
The toilets were in the second field, a few minutes walk away. There were two outside cubicles with proper toilets. They were very basic but nice and clean.
The Six Bells pub, 5-10 minutes away is a real gem! Great food, beer and atmosphere.
They often have live bands in a separate room.
Beware Google Maps; it still refers to the site by its old name.
