 Wow, what an incredible site! Fantastic walks & a 3 minute walk to the beach.
12 lost church’s Restaurant was absolutely fantastic, lovely fresh food, came out really hot & great portions! Highly recommend it.
Everything we needed was on site. Hair dryer, showers about 7 sinks & clean toilets.
Nice little shop, that closes around 6pm.
The pitch we had was too small for our tent & the hook up point was too far away, being located in the neighbouring pitch and we had to hire an extension from reception.
The pitch appeared to have concrete below and we had trouble pegging the tent, bending many in the process.
And there was a tree within the pitch so we couldn’t use one of the doors!
A couple of dog owners also didn’t seem to care about letting their dogs bark day and night!…

This was our first time on this site we had a great time, which was achieving by the friendly staff who helped us out with anything we needed.
The amenities were very clean and tidy which makes a lot of difference. The only thing that we did not like was the village pub to be honest you had to wipe your feet on the way out.
We only stopped for one drink as the glass was black with mould and when we chatted to our nabours on the sit they said that the baby changing mat was that dirty they would of used it.
The beer garden was over grown and the toilets were that dirty I waited until we got back to the camp site were it was sparkling clean.
I would just like to thank all the staff at the camp site for your kindness and hard work you made our weekend enjoyable and we will definitely be coming back with the grandchildren.

Excellent site everything was perfect.
Reception staff helpful providing good information of local tea room.
Lovely wardens, Worzel very kind and thoughtful.
Toilet and showers spotless and a credit to the cleaning staff.
The site itself is beautiful, clean and tidy.
Steps down to the beach very safe.
Highly recommend

We had a great stay
Everywhere was spotlessly clean
Great to see the shop open again which we used to buy jam for our breakfast
We also enjoyed fish & chips in the bar!
Would it be possible to add some small shelves in the showers for shampoo and shower gel instead of using the floor ?
All in all a great stay and will def be back
Would highly recommend to our friends which we’ve already done and they are staying at the site in June

Excellent facilities. Friendly staff and neighbours.
Good access to beach (mostly shingle) and heath.
RSPB Minsmere a short walk.
Restaurant tried hard, but did not inspire.

Loved the location, the friendliness of the staff,
The toilets are excellent, the pub a real pleasure.
Only downside is the lack of WiFi and Internet signal. You can log on to the pub WiFi but only around the pub.

I’ve seen many changes at this site over the years that I’ve been staying (about 22 or 23 I think!?) and it remains one of my favourite sites.
The facilities are always clean and warm, the restaurant and bar are superb and the surrounding area has much to offer.
There is always a friendly welcome from both reception and bar/ restaurant staff and the on-site shop is well stocked.
Winter season is fantastic value.

A well sheltered family and dog friendly campsite in the woods with direct access to miles of beach(via steps).
Full site facilities including shower/toilet blocks which were very well kept during our stay.
An on site well stocked bar and restaurant is welcoming to family's and dog friendly in the bar area.
Inside there is a pool table in one section and outside lots of seating and a young children's play area. We found this site, shop and reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Minsmere nature reserve next to the site, Beautiful Southwold close by,
We shall return again soon

Perfect location with access to beach.
The plot was expansive with plenty of privacy.
All the staff were friendly and the Warden went out of his way in sorting out a problem with the motorhome
We will definitely return
