Lovely location and site but annoying not to have any WiFi (only in restaurant) or O2 phone signal. Too many trees for satellite tv.

Disabled toilet/ shower room was out of action (. Refurb…which was annoying as our shower not reliable and I need assistance). The 3 large showers near sunken garden area are a bit tired.

Northfield have new toilet block but more cramped pitches. Water points are a bit sparse but fire points are plentiful. Pitches are large, levellish and bark chippings/grass so a bit messy. Ground is well drained.

Steep steps down cliff to pebble beach with strip of sand at low tide, which was generally very quiet. Good walk to coastguard cottages or flora tearooms. We didn't try the restaurant or bar.

Recommend Bake 'n' Butty cafe in Leiston for value and friendliness. The walks around this site are amazing.

Very peaceful…. Just the bathroom facilities and no wifi that let it down.

Lovely camp site, shop, restaurant and bar all on site,

Found all of the staff very friendly and helpful,

Showers, toilets etc very clean.

If I had to pick a bad point, it would be the lack of control of dogs on the site, had big problem getting sleep as various dogs were barking till very late and again in very early morning. But owners of the various dogs didn’t seem to do anything to stop the barking

Amazing site - perfect for walking to RSPB Minsmere along the beach.

Made to feel very welcome and everyone very friendly.

Had a lovely meal in their restaurant.

Would recommend.

 We had a lovely break.

Very nice site.

We enjoyed the walks.

Very good on site food, such a treat not having to drive anywhere.

Will be back again when it is warmer for some beach time.

This is a well kept park with lovely grounds.

The staff are super friendly.

The site is next to the beach and the facilities for showers, washing up and a well stocked shop were superb.

We also booked an evening meal at 12 Lost Churches which was lovely.

Would definitely recommend this site in Suffolk.

 A great Bank Holiday getaway.

The park was well kept and the staff were always on hand to give help and advice.

The pitches were well sectioned and nice and large.

The steps down to the beach was a great added bonus and the walks were well marked out.

The toilet/shower blocks were always clean (staff visited several times a day to check).

Had a meal in the restaurant delicious food and good selection of wines and spirits in the bar.

Could not fault this campsite.

Will definitely be visiting again in the summer.

Nice location and a wooded site with easy access to the beach down the cliff steps. Efficient welcome pack system for our "late" 6pm arrival. Well stocked shop and Calor gas is sold from reception.

There is also a restaurant and bar, but we didn't use those. The WC & shower facilities are excellent. Lots of motorhomes and caravans - most look as though they're rigged for the season.

Note that they don't allow wheeled vehicles on the tent field so they have some multipurpose pitches for those who need them. However - ours was well packed shingle with a thin layer of bark chippings - not ideal for tent pegs without a big mallet.

Most of the pitches have an electric hookup included in the cost.

Firepits and BBQs with legs are normally permitted but notices remain from a (very sensible) summer 2022 prohibition.

Site management is pleasantly hands-off. We arrived, pitched, stayed and departed without any interaction apart from buying gas. EE's 4G mobile signal is very good so the lack of wi-fi except by reception was no issue whatsoever.

Overall, we were impressed and will probably return. Except with a bigger mallet next time.

Quiet secluded pitch Ground staff and “neighbours” very helpful and welcoming Different areas for camping and families plots clearly marked with boundaries.

Good facilities restaurant was booking only and very quiet bar during all the time of our visit.

Internet connection/signal only available at top of steps leading to beach or in bar area … which is handy if you want to get away from it all 😉👍 access to beach, great if you are mobile.

Southwold Pier a 20 min car ride…. Well worth a visit 🌟

Ok but they close the toilet and shower block for cleaning at 9:30am!

This is like the old Blackpool B &Bs - breakfast @ 7am don’t come back till 5!
