Superb tent pitch with electric hook up, grass was like a bowling green, toilet block and washing up facilities were spotlessly clean, and as a bonus the toilet block was very well heated with good showers.

Very dog friendly site with superb walks on the cliff tops and beach.

Hornsea and Skipsea are within an easy drive with Bridlington approximately 25 minutes drive.

Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

An expensive area, but got a deal because I was on my own.

A decent site, plenty of flat space. I was next to a harvested field; lots of rape beetles, spiders and lacewings clung onto the tent, but no nasty insects.

Be careful where you put your tent - I nearly got blown away by the winds on the cliff top. I should have set up near the hedges.

Stunning views of sunrises and over the sea.

The toilets get a clean daily, but not sparkling; adequate.

Hornsea is the place for shops.

There is plenty of room on site which is flat.

The toilet block is new and kept clean, 3 toilets and a shower, so if the site is full then it could get busy - was fine when we were there.

There is a small bar with pool table and darts on site, which was welcoming and good value.

Location is great as on top of cliffs with fantastic sea views and only 15 minute walk to Tescos.

Attended this site for the jubilee weekend. First the positives. The location is fantastic with views over the east coast.

Our pitch was as close to the sea you could be. Access to the beach was down an unofficial scramble down a cliff. Manageable if you are mobile.

The site consists of a small number of statics and 2 large camping fields with all grass pitches. Some have 10 amp hookup. There must be over 100 pitches, non of which are marked out. It was a dry weekend so can't comment about drainage.

Only one toilet block, the gents had 4 cubicles, urinals, 3 sinks and 3/4 showers. All were heated and very clean when we arrived. There is also dish was area.

Only 2 fresh water taps were provided and just 1 very dirty and unsuitable elsan point which was a hole in the ground with a tap. By the end of the weekend the toilets were filthy and you could get near the elsan point without walking in blue chemical, faeces and urine.

I didn't see anyone clean the elsan point the whole weekend. Portable chemical toilets were also scattered across the fields which again were not emptied or no evidence of being cleaned. On our last morning each toilet was splattered with feaces at 8 am and by the time we left at 10am they had not been cleaned.

The EHU constantly tried for the full site and when complaints were made we were told it was our fault for turning on our heating on an evening. (It got very cold).

In fact, the poor electrics caused my fridge to short out due to a power surge when switched on. It was a party weekend so there was noise but wasn't too bad, especially where we were. Fire pits were allowed bit one was mire like a bonfire with sparks and ash spread across the site due to strong winds.

We were positive that the wardens would sort it especially when they arrived in their yellow van, only to see them get out and join the party.

A number of young kids were also allowed to speed around on their electric motor bikes. I wouldn't normally have a major issue with this however they were riding in between vans and cars at break neck speeds and an accident was never far away.

We chose this site as friends have a static at Skirlington site next door and it was a short walk between sites to meet up. We have previously stopped there but that was awful so hoped this would be better. Little did we know that this was also part of the Skirlington group.

There are poor sites in the area which are 10 times better than this site. We will not be returning.

Lovely relaxing stay overlooking the sea on front row.

Lovely walk across tops to Skirlington, very nice.

Also short walk to local pub only thing missing was a little shop, we had forgotten a couple of things lol

This is a simple, well maintained little site, no frills, but with a very nice, modern shower block (though perhaps too small for the size of the site), and overall good value for money.

I'd like to say we'd go there again, but there are issues that need addressing before we'd risk it, I think.

First 2 nights - brilliant. Absolutely no issues. The last night - a different story.

A group of over 40 people came, sharing 4 pitches (not an exaggeration!). They were joined by others in random cars. Kids running all around the shower blocks, adults leaving beer bottles and lids, and all manner of litter all around the field. Social distancing was ignored and the group opened up the toilets and shower cubicles that had been locked off, for their own use. This was topped off by the group having a bonfire in the middle of their pitches!

I don't like to blame the site for the behaviour of a few idiots, but whilst the bonfire was raging, "security" drove past (windows up so they couldn't hear the extent of the noise), took no notice, not even of the bonfire, and drove off.

That bit is the fault of the site and is the issue they need to address. We spoke to the site staff on the evening in question and stopped by the following morning.

It's a shame as we like the site/location.

Cliff Top campsite rescued my family holiday from disaster, I needed 2 tent spaces, side by side with EHU on the first weekend of school holidays! Though I live in the village, we downsized but I wanted to give my daughter and grands from Alaska some happy memories.

Cliff top did just that. They were able to give me sites with sea view, 50 paces from the cliff top. Wonderful.

Lovely staff, Sue, very helpful.

Toilet/shower block was refurbed over last winter. It is clean with 4 loos in ladies side and the 3 showers have a small area on entry with a seat/shelf and 3 hooks. Central heating in block, too. Nice washing up facilities.

As stated by others this is a camping site. There are some permanent mobile homes and caravans near the entrance. Holiday facilities, pool, shop, bars, amusements, eateries and chippy are all available and included in the camping cost a mile away at Skirlington. That is a 20 mins walk over coast track or 4 minutes by car.

The site is on cliff top and while some people do scramble down to the beach, especially kids, it is not recommended. Safe and proper access is available via Skirlington.

The site is dog friendly. There's plenty of room for kids to play away from tents. It is only really really full on about 3 weekends in the camping year and you can request the plot you'd like if booking ahead and it will be honoured.

This is a family site and some noisy anglers, on a week's holiday who were a bit 'jolly' on their return to camp, post 10. 30 pm, were spoken to by management.

It's a tidy site, bins emptied etc. There are 2 enclosed areas with 4 or 5 huge trash bins.

Hornsea small seaside town is 7 minutes drive south with promenade and beach. Plenty of shops, pubs, chippies, bars, etc. The town's leisure centre is being rebuilt so there is no pool, gym etc currently and completion expected "spring 2020".

Bridlington is 11 miles north, about 25 mins. Beverly, great for mooching is 11 miles west. Hull city is about 40 mins drive.

I walk this site 3 or 4 times a week and can see people having a lovely break, as did I and my family.

Thank you so much.

Lovely location, nice walk to Skirlington to use their facilities.

Night time was appalling, huge group of under 8's Rugby teams & parents camping, noise horrendous, music blasting out, foul language being shouted until gone 1am at which point I rang security, didn't really calm down when security went, we only got around 4hrs sleep.

Reported to reception next day who said we should of rung security at 11pm, and that one caravan had already left a day early due to being intimidated by the noise group.

Receptionist told us she would ring security & let them know and they would have a word with them and make it clear that there was to be no noise after 11pm.

Following night exactly the same, loud music, swearing, cars been driven round field I rang security yet again at 11. 30pm. Security came, soon as they went the group were back at it. Totally ruined what was a lovely site.
