Just got back from this site. This is our 4th visit in 12 months and again can only praise Cliff Top. Staff very friendly and helpful, we arrived late and informed the staff we would be, was told to find a spot we like and give them a knock in the morning. We found a spot about 30 feet from the cliff and what a view we had in the morning. We are going back there again on the 20th of March and cant wait. Toilet block was spotless and warm. Washing and showering was as clean. This is a gem of a site and should be tried.

Just got back from a two night stay at this site.
I wanted to try out my new cheap 12 man tipi and the weather looked ok for Fri and Sat so off I went.
On my own, so plenty of space inside.
I can only repeat the comments that have gone before.
Clean tidy quiet friendly helpful, and the manager gave me a good rate as I was camping on my own, even though I had a large tent. I don't think people with large size tent pitching problems will have any trouble at this site.
I only live a few miles away so hope to go again next week weather permitting.
Thanks again for a great couple of nights.

Stayed at this site from 26th Aug for a week. I would fully recommend it to anyone. Its well run with clean showers, hot water and baby facilities in the utilities room. If you need to dry your hair ladies please take a mirror as the only plugs are in the utility room. The views are fantastic, but as mentioned before you cannot really get down to the beach, but the beaches up and down the coast are fab. Mr Moos for ice cream is not to be missed. Filey is a must on anyone's list of things to do, as well as Bridlington which is based more for kids. The sister site Skirlington has the usual park, pool, amusements and a great fish and chip shop as well as a supermarket. My husband, me and our two children aged 8 and 2 will be visiting again soon.

What a lovely site. Spectacular views, spotlessly clean everywhere, well cut grass. Good shower block and toilets - beware of the taps! Friendly owners and campers, quiet at night. We were there when Hornsea carnival was on and were treated to a small air display and lovely fireworks on the Friday night with a good view from the cliff top. Dangerous I guess for children near the cliff edge but plenty of space for them well away with amusements for them down the road at the larger sister site. Wow what a view!

Second time we have stayed at this campsite, and if a relaxed friendly atmosphere is what you want, this is the place to do it. The wash block is kept clean at all times and the shower water is always good and hot. Baby changing facility provided. The view from the top of the cliff is fantastic and although it is eroding, it still has a good few years of camping in it. Reception are very friendly and helpful and it really is a very pleasant place to stay. If you have young children there is a more enclosed area to camp in, with EHU. Very nice pub that does reasonably priced meals less than a mile stroll and a thirty to forty minute walk along the beack takes you into Hornsea. A very enjoyable weekend and will definetly go there again.

This was just a one night-er for us, If you want a sea view then this is the site for you, as long as you can manage without electric you can pitch where you want , we decided about ten feet from the cliff edge, even with the rate of erosion on this part of the coast we knew we would be fine for one night. We had a walk down to the black horse for a couple of pints then back for a barbeque. Only down side was the toilets were a bit of a trek, please note the pot washing sinks are in the baby changing room (easily missed as we did until we saw someone coming out). If you want to go down to the beach you have two options 1) climb down the cliff (I tried this once but would not reccomend it) 2) walk south as far as the boat yard and then follow the path down to the beach. Also worth mentioning you can use your pass to get in to Skirlington I think it must be owned by the same people. We would definitly go back soon I hope.

We went to this campsite 25th to 27th it was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and helpful, lovely surroundings, shower blocks small but clean and warm. There is a room where you can wash up and dry your hair no mirror though. There are two fields one by the cliff top and another further in, if you have small children you can ask to be put in this field which for peace of mind is a good idea. We walked to the club at Skirlington a lively walk 20 mins or so, there are taxis if you need them but we walked back again a lovely walk. Although there are no facilities on the site except the shower blocks, the kids find their own entertainment and have the best time. I will be going back.

A visit to this site is a must. Fantastic views of the sea and around the bay. Toilets spotless. No facilities for kids except for lots of open space to play on but this is how we like it even with children of our own. Can be a bit wild for those with tents in bad weather but don't let this put you off as you can choose to pitch against the hedge on the tent field. Those with young children must be aware that the cliff top is dangerous with no fencing and is sadly falling into the sea. Hope to keep returning to this site for many years to come. SUPERB !

Just returned from a lovely week at this site. Campers not needing EHU can pitch right next to the cliffs with a wonderful view! Slept like a baby listening to the surf. Very nice and peaceful, very relaxing with some easy cliff-top walks. Did tend to get busier at the weekend with a bit of a rush for the showers in the morning, ( but I think it was the first weekend without rain since May!) The owners were very friendly and helpful - highly recommend this site for those looking for some peace & quite and lovely views.

9 of us visited the Cliff Top Campsite this week. The owners of the campsite were very helpful and by the smell of it cook a mean curry! The campsite was perfect, beautiful views, excellent location, very clean toilet and shower block. If your looking for a campsite for a relaxing time this is the one. Who needs noisy club houses, camping is all about entertaining yourself with a nice barbecue and drink with friends. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends. Thank you
