Its been a year since we visited the camp site but yet again we had a good time still very reasonable and we got a cliff top view again which was great. The campsite was very full this time due to it being bank holiday and we had to do a bit of queing for the toilets and showers but we still enjoyed the 2 nights we spent there see you again soon.  Weve been to this site twice this year & we like it. There isnt much on site but then we dont go to stay on site, its ideal for accessing all the seaside towns around that area. The site itself is as the name says on a cliff top & prone to coastal errosion so beware near the cliff edge, we couldnt find direct access onto the beach below but we didnt really try as the cliffs are quite steep. Be warned it can get very windy & cold as the evening goes on due to direct wind off the sea.

My only complaint at the site is the toilet/shower block, the floor is constantly wet due to a high pressure water system & you get soaked when using the taps resulting in wet clothes a wet floor & work surface, muddy floorevery where & no where dry to put your soap bag or towels as no shelf or hooks. Some of the ladies did mop out the shower but i was a losing battle. Oh & a toilet that was leaking at the end of july was still leaking on our return a month later, I made the man that books you in aware of the problem with the tap & he said theyd just had the problem sorted in the gents the previous day which my partner confirmed but unfortunatly throughout our weeks stay the problem wasnt sorted in the ladies, I hope it is on our next visit.

Friendly campsite, Hot clean showers and toilet block. Lovely views, great location for Skillington market, Bridlington and Hornsea. It was quite difficult to get to the beach from the cliffs(no steps due to erosion). No playground but kids seemed quite happy to run round on the extensive flat field , playing cricket, tennis etc.
Short walk to a pub. Didn'tfind any nearby shops for essentials, had to drive into next village. Would visit this site again.

Brilliant family atmosphere very laid back, enjoyed all the time that we were there, very clean and tidy shower/toilet block. Dont mind paying £17 per night for all eight of us. We will be seeing Cliff Top caravan park again shortly and a few times in the future

Feel at Home When You're Away in Bridlington

Instead of camping, why not try a house for your break to the East Coast ! At this delightful family home you will be close to everything that Bridlington Old Town has to offer. If you want the roar of the sea, then you will be just a short drive or 30 minute walk to the harbour and beach. The house is fully kitted out with everything your family need for a stay away from home. Up to 4 guests - living room - kitchen - 2 bedrooms - 3 beds - 1 bathroom - good size year round garden - parking for 2 cars

So don't bring your tent, airbeds and sleeping bags, and enjoy the feeling of being home from home. Find out more here

This was the only campsite out of many that I contacted who weren't totally anal about rules and regulations...for example they allowed people who weren't just "families or couples", they allowed disposable BBQs (on bricks), they didn't repeat in every other sentence that "ooh this is a very quiet campsite, you know", and they didn't say " we're strictly caravanning only, I'm afraid" They also allowed dogs on site which can only be a good thing.

Not that of course it was in any way a noisy or rowdy campsite.. far from it. But this made for a much more relaxed atmosphere instead of having some old retired sergeant major barking orders and pointing to rule 8a section c regarding the use of swingballs.. or something.

Also upon payment (which they were non-stressed about), you get a pass to their sister site up the road which allows you for a small fee to use their swimming pool and sauna.

The owners are very friendly and accomodating. A real chuckle. The site itself is very large with amazing views. The prices were quite cheap...13 pounds for a tent with up to 3 people or 14.50 for a tent up to 6 people. This is a very socialable campsite.
The facilites are what I want a campsite: That's to say...a field, some toilets and some showers.

I would recommend this campsite to all types of people whether families, couples or groups of friends celebrating their their friend Neil Shumsky's birthday.

This campsite is a winner.

This was our first visit to this site with our motorhome and definitely wont be the last. The site is fab and the views brilliant. The shower blocks are very nice and kept to a high standard. Already booked to go back in August. We were glad we were just visiting and not there to mow the lawn!!! Highly recommended site.

Used to come here many years ago as a child. The Bungalow we used to stay in alas has fallen victim to the north sea. Really enjoyed our weekend at Clifftop though. Mick the Manager is extremely friendly and helpful, and at £13 per night (1 tent 1 car 2 people) the campsite is excellent value. They have a great shower / toilet block which is clean, and abundant with hot water.

The camp is very relaxed and quiet with views from the clifftop overlooking Bridlington, and Flamborough Head. A word of warning though, be very careful when going down to the beach, I slipped and took the skin off my right calf, it still smarts now ouch! There is a proper pathway down, ask Mick at the gate he'll tell you where it is. Great place though, I'll be going back without a doubt.
p.s Beware the Thunderbugs, there's millions of 'em. Buy a Citronella candle. Happy Camping!

This was our first attempt at camping and we thought we would try it out locally. This camp site was brilliant very quiet and very clean and we were able to pitch our tent where we liked, we chose the veiw over looking Bridlington bay. The new shower and toilet block was vey clean and spotless and there was plenty of hot water. The owner was very friendly and helpful and said there was no desperate rush to leave. Had a very enjoyable weekend. We would recomend this site for a very relaxing and chilled out break.
