Well I just don't seem to be getting enough of Cliff Top. My first four days were a bit dull, then the heat started and I burnt to a crisp. So I must be on my 5th year now, what;s the attraction I keep asking? - THE VIEW!,
First 2 weeks in August fantastic. Micks now gone bionic with 2 new knees {bless} nice to see him stood upright after many years of suffering.
Sad to hear punters whinging about the showers, better than a bucket and sponge, I think they are top notch and Erica who cleans them does a super job trying to keep up with the messy kids! There is a mop and bucket available but they as yet don't know how to use it when they have been showered.
keep up the good work Andrew, Mick and Erica hope to see you soon AGAIN ON THE CLIFF TOP :)

My parents first discovered this campsite when I was 7. Some 18 years ago now! We have visited it every year. And Even when I turned 18 my boyfriend and I started to bring up the tent!. And still to this day we visit the site (boyfriend now husband) and both have a love for this site. The views are amazing, as yes the cliff can be a little difficult at some times in the year, especially in the winter after a storm,. But it is always worth the climb down. The brand new toilet block I fantastic and a different world from the old one ! Over the years I have watched possibly 20-50m of the field vanish. It is very said there will never be protection from the sea. SO VISIT THIS SITE BEFORE IT IS GONE FOR EVER!

Stayed here for 1 night 15/7/06 in a 2 man tent without electricity A very large camp site on the cliff top with tons of space to pitch. Fantastic views and a beautiful walk along the beach when the tide is out and the sun is shining. Nothing on the site (ie pub/club/play area etc) but that's why we chose it. A very laid back atmosphere on the site and what a pleasant change to not be constantly bombarded with notices and signs telling you what 'not to do.' We had a lovely walk to Skirlington Leisure Park next door along the beach and had a drink in the beer garden. The loos/showers were a bit disappointing as they were not really adequate for the size of the site. You couldn't see the toilet floor for grass and there's no electrical points for hairdryers. There's also no where to put your toilet bag etc down near the sinks and all the sink area was saturated due to the high power taps. A great base for exploring the east yorkshire coast and very relaxing.

Hi All.We have now been staying at Cliff Top for over two years, both in a caravan and camping. Up until then we camped on different sites but after discovering Cliff Top we have returned time after time. The staff, Mick and Andrew are the most friendly people you will find in Yorkshire and are always willing to help. The lady who looks after the amenities does a grand job and they are always spotless. This is a quiet site with no problems and the views over the cliffs are spectacular. All in all we would recommend staying at Cliff Top 100%. Sam and Pam from Oldham.

Along with my wife and our 5 year old son we visited the site from the 3rd to the 11th of June, on arrival we found the site to be moderately busy but that was to be expected as it was the final day of the children's spring bank holiday break. The day after (Sunday) most people went home and we had the use of the excellent washing and showering facilities including the very useful utility room. The site is in a wonderful location close to the sea and overlooking the south bay of Bridlington. Beware of the sea breezes though as it does feel cooler. We used our hook ups for the 1st time and were amazed how many electrical systems could be used at once. Overall we had an great week. One final downside to our week was the fact that we had several bottles and cans taken from our area around the tent, apparantly we heard security could be better at night. We will be back and soon.--- Richard, Clare and James from Doncaster.

I stayed here for a full week including the Easter weekend UKCampsite meet. I have to say there was no problem with the electric until the majority arrived on the Friday night. I think it was just a case of overloading. I have stayed here many times and have always found the facilities to be extremely clean, again with such a lot of people using these, it must take a lot more work to keep on top of things. I do agree, however, that improvements could be made with regards to labelling of the drinking water and Chem. Disp. points. All in all I find the facilities more than adequate. I have to agree about the dog bob though, this can be a problem due to people (not campers) walking their dogs through the site to get to the cliff-top path. The electric pitches are laid out on the main site but the rally field was a bit of a free-for-all as is often the case. Best things about the site - the fantastic sea-views over Bridlington Bay towards Flamborough Head and the wonderful beach which is clean and free from litter due to not been the easiest beach to access.

Visited as part of a UKCampsite rally. Had a great time. The location is fantastic - especially if the sun is shining! As already said, the electricity was very intermittent. The shower block was warm & generally clean. My only niggles would be that the taps were so powerful that you got a shower every time you wanted to wash your hands (which also meant the worktops were always wet), and that the Chemical Disposal Point was towards the middle of the field rather than tucked to the side of the shower block - this meant that there were some people confusing this as drinking water (I must add at this point that the drinking water wasn't actually labelled, so we worried that we were using the correct tap) and some children were playing with the taps here - probably not the best play equipment! This said, it was a real 'away from it all' location. Facilities were basic but adequate.

Spent four nights on this site over the Easter break, a large site with amazing cliff top views as the name would suggest . Great walks and a good dog exercising area, complete with doggie do bin which is always a bonus although not everyone cleaned theirs up, which is lazy.
The pitches are not laid out and it seemed that some were pitched very close together. Also there is not adequate facilities for a site of its size and they got dirty very quickly, however not really helped by individuals not cleaning up after themselves. Showers were very good and nice and spacious but only three in the ladies. My only rant about this site was the fact that the electricity repeatedly went off. The black horse in Atwick was very nice if you fancied a drink outside in the warmth. Well worth a visit to get away from it all assuming there are no rallies!

Were regulars here ,its our favorite place to 'escape for a weekend' Lovely sandy beach ( bit of a treck to get down the cliff to it ,but worth it tho ) Very relaxed site with good clean facilities ,friendly manager ,and a view to die for ! No playground for the kids but who needs one with the beach as your front garden ,Can get extremely windy near the cliff so if tenting, take some good pegs! the sunday market and car boot at Atwick(wednesday market too in high season ) is definatley worth a visit. A nice walk along the beach at low tide takes you into Hornsea, where you can play in the amusments visit the indoor market and refuel with 'Sullivans' fish and chips before the return journey

Its been a year since we visited the camp site but yet again we had a good time still very reasonable and we got a cliff top view again which was great. The campsite was very full this time due to it being bank holiday and we had to do a bit of queing for the toilets and showers but we still enjoyed the 2 nights we spent there see you again soon.
