Great location with stunning views and the park was attractively laid out.

Close to Tywyn but out in the countryside.

Nice spacious pitches for Tents, mostly level.

The owners replied quickly to messages and it was easy to book and pay.

Toilet and shower facilities were fine.

Only downside for me was no phone charging points, just one socket in the laundry room in an awkward place. So take a car charger or power pack if you need your phone.

A great site. Well-organised, booking system, well laid out site, large tent pitches with ample room for tents, cars tables etc.

Very well maintained, and good facilities for washing up, toilets, showers, freezer etc.

Very safe for kids,

Loads were around, all enjoying themselves.

Would definitely stay here again!

A real gem! We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Tynllwyn Caravan And Camping Park immensely. The site is very well kept, and the facilities are excellent.

A nice quiet location with just the birds singing and occasional passing narrow gauge steam train! Our level hardstanding pitch was plenty large enough for our camper van, and close to the amenity block. Loos are kept very clean and tidy, and have the added bonus of the radio to keep you entertained whilst shaving (or whatever).

The site is next to a request stop for the excellent Talyllyn Railway, approximately a 3rd of the way along the line from the coast inland. Some easy walking took us down to the town fir a quick look around, then we hopped on the steam train for a ride back to the camp site. Great fun. You can of course purchase tickets to ride the trains all day, shoukd you wish, but singles and returns to all stations are available (which isn't noted on their web site).

We found the site was also very well located to explore the coast and it's villages and towns in the area.

The only thing we didn't see were the promised badgers on site (notices warn you not to leave food lying around overnight) but I expect that was because we were so tired out after days of exploring we were in bed before the badgers woke up!

Would definitely recommend this site.

 Great site for young families.

The site is safe and very clean and well kept.

This is the second time we have visited and we will definitely come back again.

Fulsome and rapid and informative communication from the site, lovely and convenient location for the Talyllyn railway too.

Tent pitch area really lovely with good, clean ablutions block.

I felt that the site owners had a really good empathy with their visitors too.

I will certainly stay there again 👍

Lovely well kept site, facilities very clean, very friendly and helpful owners will definitely be returning in September, pricing is good for site and facilities,

You do need a vehicle to visit the shops or beaches, but there is a small railway that is 2 minutes walk off site that you can use to get to the town, was amazing also for site seeing, it is run by volunteers. There is a charge for this, but we’ll worth it.

We did visit when children in school so was very quiet, but apparently gets very busy in school holiday’s.

Thank you! Great site, very clean, very friendly, very good facilities, very quiet, really enjoyed the stop.

So many positive points to mention, everything has been thought of to enjoy the stay. The only (minor) negative. And I struggled to think of one!

I wish the site was in walking distance (stroll) from the town.

What a lovely friendly place, with views of mountains, and the toot of a steam train chugging by.

The toilets & showers are immaculate.

No charge for showers (or hairdryer in the ladies).

Plenty of play areas for kids, even a little stream (& "beach" ).

The whole site is well kept and maintained.

Very short walk to the little railway which itself has beautiful views as it travels alongside the mountain valley.

You could catch the train to seaside town Tywyn which has a huge sandy beach, or its a 5min drive.

There are plenty of scenic walks from/near the site.

Lots and lots of things to see and do within a 10mins drive.

Will definitely return and stay for much longer to see all that I missed.
