 Lovely campsite in the heart of Sixpenny Handley.
Stayed end August beginning September. Peaceful village setting. Campsite had various fields. We stayed in the family field.
Large plots. Nice are for walks. Steve and his Team were very pleasant.
Had a meal the 1st night at the restaurant, Hangelas. Great flavour. Compliments to the chef.
We will definitely be back

Lovely family run site, pitches were clearly marked and EHU simple to use.
On site cafe and bar if you didn't want to travel out.
Toilets and showers reasonable and clean.
One of the fields is called "the naughty field", never got to ask why or how we should behave if we went into it.

Lovely quiet site in a beautiful part of England. It's owned and managed by Steve and lee Judd who were brilliant - they couldn't have done more for us. The on-site restaurant, Hanlega, although not open everyday, was also very much appreciated, so a big shout out to the chef.
Toilet facilities are excellent - no queues - and spotlessly clean.
In the village, there is a fantastic butcher's shop so if you are cooking for yourself, you'll be spoilt for choice.
The only downside was that St. Mary's Church, after which the site is named, has a clock which chimes the hours - all through the night.

Very disappointed in this site. Appreciate that it was January in the rain and sites always look better when the sun is shining, however, even allowing for this, it was still a miserable experience. The lady who "greeted" us was rude and off hand. Despite the bar and shop being closed, they still charged us £30 a night for a hard standing pitch.
The pitch itself was so narrow that we couldn't get all 4 wheels of the motorhome on it and it was made up of crumbling tarmac, the nearby water tap was out of use so had to trudge quite a distance in the rain to fill the van up.
The site itself looks very tired and neglected with old abandoned cars and the toilets and showers had no heating in them and were cold and uninviting. The waste bin in the toilet was overflowing which was surprising as we didn't see any other campers on site so goodness knows when they were cleaned last.
Would have been happy to put up with most of these things if we hadn't paid £30 a night. We left a night early as it was so bad. Amongst the long list of things forbidden to do on the leaflet we were given, it made it very clear there would be no refunds.
Would definitely not recommend staying here.

This site was introduced to me by my wife of 18 years and we have been attending this wonderful site frequently over them years during some of them years we have attended both the GDSF and also camping and caravan club DA's and THS's
The owners are wonderful people and we have watched them buid better and better site over these years,
My children love this site also and I have got a lifetime membership and entry to the signals museum which I also love visiting when I am in the area.

This was the 2nd time staying here.
We thought this was great value for money.
We used the restaurant, the food was lovely and didn't cost the earth.
The pitch with electric was a decent size.
We arrived back today and thoroughly enjoyed our stay camping at its best 👌

Church farm caravan and camping review.
I can recommend this site to anyone wishing for a short or long stay.
Dog and child friendly.
Was welcomed by the owner who walked me to my pitch a very friendly welcome and only 15 pounds per night with electric.
Toilets are clean and tidy
The pictures show the family field with play area that's where I'm staying and apart from a couple of vans I'm the only one here.
The restaurant wasn't open last night but I have stayed here before and it was the food was well presented with a wide variety of choice I can recommend the ham and chips.
Owners are friendly and very helpful.
As you can imagine it's very quiet at this time of year but that's OK.
I'm only in one field of many not sure how many their are it's a big place.

We loved it here. It was our first time, and no complaints on anything.
Service was great, decent food in the restaurant which was all home made.
Toilet facilities were clean and well maintained.

Excellent site, very quiet, friendly and well run.
Beautiful views across the fields.
The toilets and showers were clean with sprays and kitchen rolls to help in these Covid times.
