Fantastic little site near to Kings Lynn. Nice flat surface electric Hook up quiet and restful. Toilets and showers spotless(cleaned twice a day)
And a new shower and toilet block nearing completion. Lovely walks and 'The Gate Pub' 20 minutes away serving an excellent menu.
Paulie the owner was very very helpful and has an amazing sense of humour.
We will definitely return.

We spent 6 days at this site and loved it.
The facilities were spotlessly clean and the grass was cut regularly. There is a bus into Kings lynn and from there the buses run regularly into Peterborough, Spalding and all the other neighbouring areas. Great if you have a bus pass! It is very close to Sandringham which we love to visit, not to mention all the beach resort nearby.
There were only 2 toilets for ladies and 2 showers, the same for gents, but there were no queues even though there was a rally on one of the fields. The very large new block should be finished within a couple of weeks.
Paul the owner is very friendly and very helpful and although the site is very well run there were
No notices around banning various activities which you can find on many sites. I never heard any traffic noises and I will certainly visit this site again. Next time I may get some Birthday cake!

First outing of the year. Level grassy well kept pitches, good windbreaks of mature conifers and several large oaks add interest. Made up of three large fields.
Toilet/shower/washing up facilities a little stretched during this busy weekend kept spotlessly clean but very compact, but new block looks exciting and ultra modern.
Good facilities for shopping in nearby Kings Lyn. Local pub unfortunately not serving food on the one day we wanted to go. Would visit this site again when new block opened. Noise from nearby road and stock car racing very loud, but something you get used to.

This was a real last minute push- Scotland weather was going to be atrocious so we had a last minute re-think and were lucky to be offered a pitch with hook-up after trying several tens of sites. It is a nice site, a bit near the A47 but not intrusively so- especially at weekends when there is less HGV traffic. The owner was extremely friendly and laid-back but there was no riotous behaviour or excessive noise at night. The planning application for more toilet and wash facilities was good to see- sorely needed since the small block currently in place is not adequate when the 3 fields are full.
Value for money was ok- £18 for the tent and hook up for 2 adults but on the limit considering the washing facilities.
We'd recommend this site for a weekend- walk able local pub with good grub and great access to Sandringham and the Norfolk coast etc.

Stayed here in peak season. Plenty of room, all electric pitches, and only £13 a night! We are caravan club members and have always stayed at Sandringham. But no more! Why pay £22 a night when just down the road you pay £13.
The A47 is noisy, but not disruptive. Very small shower cubicles but showers are powerful, hot and free. The owner is very helpful, even providing plastic garden chairs for small tent campers.
Good security with CCTV, the owner would be out within seconds of a new car arriving on site.
Will definitely use this site in future.

Stayed for a weekend in mid-July. The site is level with well-grassed pitches and is surrounded by a high hedge. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
The main road does run alongside the campsite which was quite noisy, but did quieten down at night. Not sure what it would be like during the week.
There is a small shower block although we did not use these.
There is good access to King's Lynn and easy access to a number of small villages with good pubs.

We've just returned from a one-night stay at this site, we were quite impressed and will probably return at some point.
The owner/warden was very polite and friendly, both on the 'phone and in person. On arrival at the site we were directed to the general area of our pitch and told to choose whichever pitch suited us most.
We stayed during the second May Bank Holiday and the site wasn't anywhere near capacity, there was plenty of space left.
It's probably true that the facilities are basic, but the site has everything we needed. The toilets and showers were spotless and although I could imagine there being queues at peak times we didn't have any problems in that regard.
Other reviews have mentioned road noise and this is something we did notice too. Without thinking, we pitched as close to the A47 as we could possibly get, it's a lesson learnt! The site is large enough that I'm sure the road noise won't be an issue for the majority of pitches.
The site is minutes away from Kings Lynn (and the big Tesco store there), and it's the ideal base for exploring North Norfolk.
All in all, it's a good basic site in a good location.

Stayed here from Thurs 20/03 to Mon 24/03.
Site well laid out, plenty of room and choice, probably due to weather.
Many cancellations, but good drainage in most parts and very helpful and friendly owner, could not do enough for you.
Only one toilet block, but could do with another in other lower end of site, clean and well serviced on a regular basis.
Other reviews state traffic noise, did not find it obtrusive, trees around site are now matured and give good sound barrier to main A47.
Plenty of space for children, safe and secure.
Will definitely return again as location is ideal for being out and about in the area, especially in the summer months.

March 2005 Visited this campsite for a short Easter Break and although not expecting very much was generally not impressed. We didn't get much sleep as the traffic from the very near main road does not let up all night, added to that we were not advised when booking that there would be a disco on-site held in a marquee. Site facilities were basic; few toilets / showers and the dishwashing facilities are situated in the toilets , we took our washing up home with us.

August 2004 Spent a few days on this site leading up to bank holiday weekend. Site was quiet the first few days which facilities seemed to just about cope with. By the weekend the site was full to capacity and the queue for the ladies shower was 7 deep at times. There was only one shower and 3 toilets for the whole site which meant queues were inevitable. The mens toilet and shower block has recently been refurbished and the ladies are currently in the process of. Dishwashing facilities are also situated within the mens and ladies toilets. Traffic noise was a problem although was alleviated by purchasing a set of earplugs from the chemist in Kings Lynn! Tent, 2 adults and a dog was reasonably priced at £8.75 a night. No shop on site but there is a large Tesco store nearby. Nearest pub about a mile away but cannot walk there due to heavy traffic and no pavement. Owner, very pleasant chap, gave us a folder on arrival, full of local info which we found most helpful. All in all the site was ok
