So much to say on this site so ill try to keep it brief! From the moment I phoned to book up until today when we pack up to go home everything has been brilliant. Very friendly owner who couldn't be of more assistance, easy booking system deposit paid by card over the phone, easy site to locate and young lad even showed us to our pitch and clearly explained the space allowed etc which I might add are huge! We had a lot of space for our big tent, trailer and car and even had a badminton net and large paddling pool in front of our tent and we never got moaned at, despite it being summer holidays. The site filled up over the weekend but it still never felt cramped.

Beautifully clean shower blocks, large showers so taking the kids in with me was not a problem, shower is in 2 sections so you can have one washing and one drying no problem. Even small lights above each mirror which is handy!

Rained quite hard a couple of times but the ground never flooded so perfect drainage. So much space for the kids to run and play!

Just down the road is a large shopping industrial estate with 2 supermarkets, Argos and more importantly the range for any last minute 'forgotten' bits! McDonald's, Pizza Hut, frankie and bennys & a KFC so grabbing dinner on the way back from a busy day is perfect!

I absolutely loved this site, bit of a trek to the broads etc but you get to take in the beautiful area on your travels, yeah you are next to a main road which can be noisy however it's also the main route so navigating trailers, caravans, motor homes etc into this site is easy rather than trying to scrape down narrow lanes!

Perfect. We will Certainly be returning soon!

Stayed here for two nights at beginning of July. We were going to the speedway at the Norfolk Arena and this was the closest site.

Very very impressed with the site. Well maintained, clean shower blocks and booking in was easy.

Very friendly owners and plenty of information available for trips out etc.

Not a lot of people were there when we were but it was very peaceful and quiet (a bit of road noise but you can shut that out). The weather was exceptional so it was lovely to sit outside van with a glass of wine (or two!) and were not bothered by anybody.

Would recommend to anyone who just wants to chill out and maybe take the occasional trip out.

Visited the site for a three night stay, really enjoyed the stay. The toilet block and showers were spotlessly clean, with plenty of hot water. Site was level and well drained with plenty of room between pitches. Shops and local facilities are within ten minutes of the site. There is a small amount of background noise from the main road, but this is not obtrusive. The staff on site were very pleasant, and a wealth of local information

Just spent the bank holiday at this site. The site is quite open and there is a fairly noisy road near by. That said the site was clean and tidy, pitches are well marked, and the staff friendly enough. The toilet and shower block is nice new and modern. However, this new state of the art eco block does have one major fault, the water system simply could not cope with the number of people. The water pressure in the showers was so low that it just ran down the wall and did not spray as it should. It made having a shower almost impossible as you could not get under the flow. This was very disappointing as I had great hopes for it give the other reviews I read before.

Do not get wrong, I would go back and i would recommend this site, just not during a busy period!

The showers do want looking at thought and the pressure problem sorted out.

Brilliant site with state of the art toilet facilities which are cleaned daily, friendly and helpful owners, level grass pitches with good drainage throughout the site, it was quiet at night except for the main road traffic passing near to the site, dependant on pitch location.

Main downside is the very busy roads all around the district.

Stayed in a part furnished pod which was lovely! Very snug on a night! Double bed, sofa bed, fridge, microwave, kettle. Really liked the site and all fields for campers were flat. Nice big modern shower block. Only downside was that it was on a main busy road so lots of road noise. Wasn't too bad in pod but imagine it's worse for campers. Other than that a great site though! Staff really friendly and well stocked shop on site.

We have just returned from this site and it was fabulous. The Warden and his wife were friendly and helpful, they even showed us inside one of their camping pods as we were interested in renting one next time we come.

We will definitely be returning and hope to stay longer.

The facilities are clean and very 'green' as they are solar powered. Lots of space on the fields and dogs are welcome too. Great little shop with all the basics.

Thankyou for our stay and we will be back!

Just got back from KLCC We were really pleased with this camp site. We got a very friendly and helpful welcome from the staff who then showed us to our pitch on the rally field. The pitches were firm, flat and well maintained. Our pitch was in front of a huge hedge which gave us good protection from the wind this weekend.

The shower block is kept clean, the showers are huge, so no wet clothes while you shower! Plenty of hot water too, and the whole block is heated.

There is an indoor and outdoor washing up area, a freezer for ice blocks, a washing machine, tumble dryer and an ironing bored. I think they have thought of everything.

The little shop has most things you need, you can order a paper for the morning and they have a good wifi service which is very reasonably priced.

All in all a great value campsite, close to a large retail park where you will find big named supermarkets also central for Norwich and the Norfolk Coast.

My only reason for 9 out of 10 on the facilities would be because the water from the shower falls very close to the wall.

We will be booking to go back, we found it very relaxing :)

In answer to previous reviews about a noisy A47 It didn't really bother us, but if you book a campsite near a main road you have to expect some noise.

My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights over the Easter weekend with our Black Labrador.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful during our stay. We were shown to the left hand field where there were only a few other caravans pitched. Due to this we had one side of the large field to ourselves. The hook-up points can be pulled up out of the ground which I thought was a very good idea.

The toilet block were always warm and kept clean.

There are also around 5 small log cabins which looked very cosy.

All in all the campsite was really nice and perfect as a base to visit the local sites. There are loads of beaches to go to and also Cromer (try the fish and chips, gorgeous!) and King’s Lynn. Sandringham is also only 10 minutes away from the site and is lovely to walk round.

We also visited Middletons Steak & Grill which is just down the A47 (we got a taxi there and back, ask the site for the cab number). Food was really nice and the place was modern and relaxing.

The only negative I have, regarding the campsite, is the road noise. The site is situated right next to the A47 and from our caravan we could hear every car, lorry etc that went past and it did get quite loud throughout the day.

It does look like they are growing the trees higher which may shield some of the noise at a later date. Also the back field may be a little quieter, so if you do visit here I advise you ask to be pitched as far away from the road as possible.

We stayed at the Kings Lynn Campsite for four nights over the February half term week.

For a 2 adults, a tent and a car we were charged £15 per night. The site is really easy to find although being so close to the busy main road from King's Lynn to Swaffam you will experience some road noise. The site is flat and pitches well maintained. There was some extensive groundwork being undertaken during our stay, new paths, fences and installation of electric hook ups etc. It should look very presentable when finished.

The new wash rooms are heated, spotlessly clean and very well furnished. Even all the shaving points and lights worked! The weather was very cold, often sub zero, both day and night during our stay so the outside water supply to the washing up area had been turned off creating minor inconvenience. However the heated interior was a real bonus considering the weather. Being an eco-friendly building, relying on solar power, we found that the push button showers weren't that hot either.

The campsite warden was very helpful and handed out an information pack on arrival.

King's Lynn shops, Sainsburys and Tescos are only a couple of miles away. We weren't overly impressed by the local pubs although further afield The Gin Trap at Ringstead and The Crown at Gayton are worth a visit for real ale and food.

Kings Lynn old town is a very interesting place too. I found the Sea Henge exhibition at the museum there fascinating. The Peter Scott trail around The Wash and the walk up the coast to Hunstanton and its famous red and white cliffs were my favourites.

Overall, a cold but enjoyable stay.
