We found this site by chance and I'm quite glad that we did :-)
We decided to book the site as it was near to one of our camping buddies homes (the school run still needed doing and it was easier for her to stay local)
Very friendly staff when booking and on arrival we were shown to our (very spacious) pitch. The site is laid out in separate areas, with seasonal pitches, camping pods, a rally field and a larger field (which I think can only be used in the summer) all spaced nicely around a large facilities block. The site is very well kept and neat and tidy and they were carrying out lots of further improvements during our stay.
The facilities block is excellent, very modern, clean and spacious and well thought out too with lots of hooks, shaver points, lighting, individual sinks etc etc. The only gripe was that the showers are push button and not very powerful :-( this didn't detract from how good the rest of the facilities are though, there is even a family bathroom.
The washing up room was great and there is also an outside area to use in finer weather.
I didn't see any info about recycling and did feel guilty about putting all my waste into one big bin.
This is the only site I have ever seen that has pop up E. H. U, I thought this was a great idea as sometimes those white boxes can be a bit if a blot on the landscape, these ones just folded down into the ground. What a great idea.
There are lots more plans for future projects such as a play area for the kids and log cabins for those that are allergic to tents, another toilet block and further expansion we are told, all sounds quite interesting.
A friend of ours stayed in one of the pods and I found it to be pretty spacious, warm and well laid out with a double bed, sofa bed and some kitchen gadgets.
The prices are reasonable too.
All in all I think this is Pretty good site with lots of potential, I personally think it would be a shame If they became too big as it might spoil some of the charm of the place, the staff are very friendly and helpful and genuinely interested in what we thought of the site.
The only other minor negative is that the site is very near a main A road and there is a bit of traffic noise, I am presuming that when the trees and shrubs are in leaf that this would somewhat quieten the noise which isn't ever noticeable but might affect some lighter sleepers. This would definitely NOT stop us from returning to the site however, something that we most definitely WILL be doing is paying another visit.

Being Norfolk residents and not wanting to go far for a late break we chose this good looking site just outside Kings Lynn. It is a large site split into three fields, all flat and close to the main A47 road and only a 5 minute drive into town for shops, food and entertainment. We had a friendly welcome and a choice of where we wanted to pitch on the Rally field. Morning papers, new toilet/shower block and surprising lack of road noise made for a pleasent stay. Our only problem was the lack of lighting on site for moving around at night and incidentally if you have children there appears to be no play area for them. But then again Sandringham, Hunstanton and Downham Mkt are close and I enjoyed golf just up the road at Middleton Hall. Overall a neat, clean, well kept camp that we would visit again.

Stayed for 3 nights in September. Two mature adults with smallish tent. Weather was brilliant so it was a delightful few days. Facilities are good on this site. Flat site, so no sliding into each other through the night!
Showers a bit feeble but free and the cubicles are large with plenty of hooks and no chance of getting damp clothes as a result of cramped space. Lots of loos, and a couple of enclosed washbasins if you just want a private 'strip wash'. Recycling bins, and general waste bins easy to get to. Despite being right next to the A47 we never found the traffic noise a problem. Sites are marked with plenty of space between them, and someone takes you to the spot. No arguments, therefore, about where to pitch. Staff very helpful and friendly and seem to patrol the site regularly whilst walking their dogs.
Only one down side. No decent real ale pubs within walking distance. There is a pub, but it's set up for food rather than a local pub. However, we'd certainly return to this site if ever in the vicinity again.

On arrival on Friday night we were greeted by a really nice warden and were shown to our pitch by a young man who offered his help should we require it.
Site was really lovely and despite the Bank holiday weather ( Thunder, lightning and heavy rain) the break was very relaxing. Although it rained very very heavily the site did not become muddy and the pitches did not churn up mud. Obviously natural drainage is amazing here!
The wardens and owner were always available on site and as previously stated are all really friendly. The facilities on site are clean and tidy despite a busy campsite!
Many thanks to everyone for making our weekend truly good and we'll see you all again.

We didn’t want to leave yesterday! Stayed for 5 sunny days at this site. There were 7 of us, 1 huge 12 man tent, a 2 man tent, a gazebo & 3 cars. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, adapted to our needs. All facilities on site were spot on, clean, fresh & never a queue for anything.
We visited The Gate Pub (turn right out of camp site, then right again on to the main road, then next left & follow the road round) We went Canoeing for the day on the Norfolk Broads, visited Cromer.
The Site is very central to the whole of Norfolk and well worth the visit.
The only slight negatives we would have are the lack of a climbing frame/playing area for children. We had children with us and would have been ideal, and the bucket of water near Shower areas could have been changed more often in the day and a sign to ask visitors to use when finished their showers.
All in all we will be visiting again as soon as we can get the time off work.

I'm sure that I am about to repeat a lot of what has previously been mentioned;however after such a great stay-I have to let others know. We recently stayed with many friends at a Mazda Bongo rally. The facilities are excellent and clean.
Never busy despite the site size. You are firstly greeted by a very friendly warden couple in a small but very useful shop and reception. The site is very level and well lit.
The new toilet block provides very good wash and shower/also washer-dryer-freezer-iron and potwash area(inside and out). There is also baby care facilities.
The site is safe and secure for families of all ages. Although the site is close to a main road-noise pollution is minimal. There are strict site rules for the benefit of all guests.
The wardens regularly walk their own dogs around site and always have time for all their guests. Newspapers can be pre-ordered and await you the next day with a friendly smile.
There are numerous shopping outlets a mile away-be warned;do not go during rush hour traffic due to the new sainsburys development-nightmare. Within 30 mins driving there are numerous beaches and other attractions-just ask at reception for extensive info.
If I have to find a negative about this site;it would be more a suggestion to the owners-there is a need to introduce greater re-cycling. This is a fantastic site well worth the visit.

This site has improved considerably since I last went 2 years ago. The new toilet block is really good, with good-sized shower cubicles, and it even has electric hand dryers that actually dry your hands before your holiday is over.
The new field is nice and level with plenty of EHUs. There is also now a small shop in reception, which can provide some of your basics although, as with most camp shops, don't expect supermarket prices.
It's right next to the A47, but road noise wasn't a problem, although it might be different if you are in a tent.
There are regular bus services to Kings Lynn and Swaffham, even as far as Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Peterborough.
There's a nice pub in Fair Green, about a 25min walk away, which does decent food.
I shall definitely return, even at their normal prices.
I haven't commented on the child friendliness, because mine have long flown the nest - I didn't notice a play area but, in all fairness, I didn't look for one either, so there may be one.

This is a lovely site, although if your not a walker you would need to go out in your car.
Perfect for people with dogs very pet friendly.
Shower block clean and plenty of hot water, lovely little shop with great staff.
Local pub about 1 mile away, very friendly and VERY dog friendly lovely meals.
Would recommend this site and perfect with good weather.
The site has no hard standing, thought this was going to be a problem when we had rain but not a problem and didn't get muddy at all.

Fantastic site. This was our very first caravan experience and we were hooked ever since. The owners were very friendly and helped us novices in any way they could. The site itself had recently had brand new facilities built which was kept very clean. The pitch itself was a grass pitch but on level ground. The only issue we had in our week long stay was our electric kept tripping out. This was our fault as novices, we were simply overloading the circuit. However, the owners even replaced the trip switches to accommodate our stupidity.
Fabulous site that I will no doubt be visiting again

Extremely friendly site adjacent A47 though being in the back field road noise was negligible. Although mainly grass site the ground remained firm even after so much rain.
Very large, modern toilets. As mentioned previously electrics tripped out a couple of times so something to be aware of.
A very peaceful site, no noise at night though not a great deal to do locally, the nearest pub The Gate is a mile walk along the road opposite the site entrance, it does food and has a lively locals bar with a couple of real ales on.
A bus stops by the site entrance to either Kings Lynn or Swaffham but only runs during the day. Paid £16/night for two with ehu.
