August 2004 Dennis farm now seperated from dennis cove. great site, nice new facilities, great views. the only problem I found was the quiz night run by mick(Mike Reid) made it a bit like hi-de-hi (butlins)bill and janet

August 2004 This was the first time we have stayed at this site, and we will go back again. The pitches were not huge, but were sufficient. Washing facilities were good and it's a nice little walk into town.

June 2004 This campsite is very well managed, for its size. It has around 40 pitches with lots of space between them all. The toilet blocks are basic but kept very clean and hot water at all times morning or night. The location is great only 10 - 15 min walk from the centre of Padstow. The site has great views and great walks along the Camel Trail. Don't expect a 5 star site as you won't get it, what you will get is a great place to relax out of town but close enough for a pint in the local pubs. P.S. say hello to the owners dog she's lovely.

May Day Weekend 2004 A very enjoyable stay, we found the site peaceful and comfortable with good amenities and friendly atmosphere. A beautiful walk along the Camel trail into Padstow from the campsite with an abundance of birdlife for the twitchers among us! We will definitely be visiting Dennis Cove again. The Cooke family

August 2003 I found the stay entirely enjoyable, comfortable and professional. The facilities were of a high standard rarely found amongst low key sites and the staff were highly considerate, welcoming and easy to interact with.
The location of the site provides a pleasurable walk/cycle to the town harbour and local beeches. From a younger generations point of view the site provides everything you need and is well located to various activities. Also in response to a previous comment I found space ample and showers inexpensive.

September 2003 I think there's some confusion over the Dennis Cove Camping - Originally one site, the owners apparently sold off the larger upper-field area last year to new owners (where the bar used to be) which is now a separate enterprise entirely. We stayed in the original Camel Trail bi-sected site, where we paid slightly more than average (but still hardly breaks the bank) for a truly fantastic view over the beautiful estuary (worth every penny), spotless and excellent brand-new facilities (but with token-showers as already pointed out) and all a brief, pleasant walk from the town for the pub and everything else you may desire.
Worth every penny, and we'll certainly go back if we're down that way again.

July 2003 I have to disagree with the other reviews. I found Dennis Cove cramped and expensive. Double the price of other sites we stayed at, plus extra for showers. The pitches are small and crammed together which I assume makes a few quid more for the owner but made our stay far less relaxing In it's favour it is a pleasant walk by the sea to get to the main town but that's it.

july 2001 we have had three holidays at this well run and friendly site, the views are breathtaking and with every thing within a short walk it makes camping a relaxing and enjoyable holiday , and even when it rains the bar staff have many funny stories to keep you entertained. a camp site with the best standards weve ever been to in the u.k. many a winters day spent thinking of these views bliss WE WILL GO BACK AGAIN
