Just spent a wonderful long weekend here. It is a wonderful site which is well looked after by the owners. A small site with plenty of room on a small working farm. I love the fact that you only pay for electricity used (£1. 24 for 3 nights!). Toilets/showers are kept spotlessly clean. There is a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, kettle and washing machine that can be used at no extra cost. Lucy charges £20 per family per night with no extra cost for gazebos etc. A big highlight for us was being able to have a fire. A pit was delivered to us and a bag of logs reasonably charged at £4. The owners of the site could not have been more helpful and friendly. They even helped us put our tent up as it was very windy and the tent was new! The children found it difficult to accept that they were not allowed to play ball games (site rule), however I understand that this is so everyone enjoys their stay. Next time we visit we will need to take more games to entertain the children that doesn't involve kicking a football! This site is a gem. My only concern is that the next time we want to visit it will be full.

Met up with friends here for long weekend. They couldn't have done more, very helpful and informative about the area. The site was open and slightly sloping so we used our blocks. The toilet facilities were spotless, as was the kitchen. It's a few minutes stroll down to the village where there's a little shop, butcher, charity shop(!) and pub. We ate the famous 2 in 1 pie at the Weighbridge Inn about 5 minutes drive from site. Book a table in advance especially at weekends! Stoud with it's best ever Farmers market on Saturdays is a 10 minute drive away. We'll br back !

Well what can I say that has not already been said before. The site is lovely, set on a slight slope so you may need some blocks to level out your caravan, we didn't have any but we were almost level so it wasn't really a problem.
The owner is very friendly and understanding even when it was touch or go whether we could go due to my daughters chicken pox.
The facilities are still like new and are kept spotlessly clean. The kids climbing frame and slide kept the kids happy and entertained.
Minchinhampton is very nice too and well worth the few minutes walk to explore.
We will definitely be going back.

Early in September several members of my family hired tent pitches for a long weekend. All of them thought the campsite and its facilities were brilliant.
They were especially impressed by the the warm and friendly welcome, the generous supply of fire bowls and wood for barbecues and above all the atmosphere of glowing fires near their and other campers' tents making the evenings truly romantic.
They will definitely be back and when that happens I shall join them, although I only live down the road.

The campsite is in an excellent location and within a few minutes walking distance of Minchinhampton village. The facilities were fantastic with a very clean toilet / shower block. There was also a laundry room with a washing machine which we used on several occasions. The nicest thing about the campsite is that it is in a very rural location with plenty of farm animals about (Donkeys, Pigs, Ducks, Sheep)and all very friendly.
Had a really nice stay at this campsite a little gem !

We Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and can only confirm the good points raised before. A beautiful campsite with delightful owners and animals.
The playground was personally a little small for us but it seemed to be a meeting point for the kids to play.
The town is delightful, very quaint and the surrounding area well worth a visit.
We walked to the Ragged Cot, a lovely 20 min walk over the fields, however found it to be very expensive (£150) for 4 adults, not quite pub food prices.
The toilets were clean and they work hard to keep them that way.
We struggled a bit to get level so definitely take some blocks with you.
Overall a wonderful time, the only blip being a large group that had music blaring late and thought it was ok to let their kids run around the field with lights on their head after 10pm.
Apparently teh owner had quite a few complaints and to her credit spoke to them.
The next night they were quiet as mice!

A lovely little campsite. It is well drained and even in heavy rain doesn't turn to a mudbath.
Ample space for the kids to play and a nice play area. Dog friendly site with dedicated dog walking area.
A clean and well looked-after shower block with toilets and washing-up facilities. Even has an indoor sink and washing machine.
Electric hook-ups on meter and plenty of taps for water.
The site owner is very friendly and looks after the campers and site well.
If you are camping in the area try this site first.

The owner was very helpful with information of the area and making us welcome. The toilets and showers were second to none. The site is well drained, and needed to be after the rain that we had, we had no trouble getting on or off the site at anytime. But I did ask for my caravan to be towed off, so that we did not churn up the field and to save myself from being embarrassed. This was a new site this year and looked very nice. We wish the owners all the success for the future.

A fabulous site. The owner couldn't do enough to help us - even offering to dry clothes for us!
There is a nice kitchen area with sockets for charging phones etc. A kettle and even a washing machine.
The owner is fairly strict about no ball games on the site near the tents - which is good if you have no children with you, but there is a small playground for young children
Drainage on the site is excellent (we had torrential rain all day on the Friday, and again on the Saturday night)but the site stayed nice and firm. It did help that Lucy asked us not to keep the cars on the grass though.
The Showers and toilets are lovely - well cared for, always clean.
Tobacconist Farm is just a short walk into the village and close to many places worth visiting, again Lucy is more than happy to help if you ask
I'd recommend this site in a heartbeat!

This is a great site. We Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Small children's playground. Some defined bays separated by banks of poppies, really pretty.
The owner is very friendly and chatty. She delivers wood to your pitch as well as a fire pit to build a roaring fire for those chilly evenings.
Had to park the car away from the pitch after setting up camp. This really wasn't a problem for us and did help to keep the site from getting muddy as there was a lot of rain.
Short walk into the village centre where there are a few shops, newsagent etc. We went into Stroud for the Farmers Market on Saturday morning and then spent the rest of the weekend eating our purchases!
Can't find any faults. If you are going to be in the area, definitely give it a go!
