This is a lovely site, fantastic location, close to the small market town of Minchinhampton, which has 2 small shops selling general groceries etc, 2 coffee shops,
The Kitchen was fab lovely food good price and friendly staff. The Crown pub also served good food and staff were friendly.
The common was a short walk with lovely views, and a very active church with lots going on. The lady running the camp site was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, toilets and showers were clean and included in the price, there was washing up facilities and a washing machine and fridge freezer available to use.
There were also fire pits and barbeques available to use and the site was well set out. Quiet location, although there was plenty of wildlife around you could hear cows, sheep, birds etc but nothing too loud to be annoying,
I will definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.
This is a adults only site so no play areas etc but picnic benches all round to eat at.
Overall good value for money

This was our second visit and we will return in the future it is close to the village shop for the essentials and walking distance to a few pubs.
Fantastic campsite.
Spotless shower rooms and toilets.
Very peaceful, large pitch, adults only and dog friendly.
Lucy is very helpful and friendly with knowledge of the local area and nothing is to much trouble.

Wonderful week spent on this fantastic campsite, all village amenities within a ten minute walk.
Toilet/shower block was always clean and stocked, power and water on the pitch was a bonus.
Lucy, the host, was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the local dog walks.

Where do we start? an absolute jewel of a site, small, quiet, secluded.
Facilities are probably the best that we have ever come across in many years of camping.
Water and electricity on each of the larger pitches, toilet / shower block spotless and so well appointed, each shower in a separate room with separate wash basin and for some toilet also, all cleaned regularly.
Free use of washing machine and freezer if required and three washing up sinks.
Fire pits provided and generous amount of wood can be purchased at a good price.
A well kept and clean dog exercising area also. Lucy, who runs the site is an absolute gem. Be prepared, she does not 'suffer fools lightly' but is welcoming, courteous and helpful, expecting guests to rightly reciprocate.
The site is very quiet at night, with easy foot access to the local village with a good pub, cafe, post office and local store and wonderful walks across Minchinhampton Common.
Some traffic noise, but not intrusive in any way.
We shall most definitely be back, which is something we do not always say.

Excellent location close to all amenities. Neat and tidy except for initial impressions on the 'storage' field.
Very friendly and helpful. Facilities good and coped with large number of tents in grass paddock.
Pitches very generous in size but not even and you will need levelling ramps.
Very peaceful when not busy, minimal road noise at peak hours.
Highly recommend The Crown Inn, The Kitchen and The Weighbridge Inn. Visit to Westonbirt Arboretum well worthwhile.
Just be careful with satnav (even motorhome configured!) for directions, streets in Minchinhampton are very narrow!

I would most certainly recommend this campsite. In many ways it ranks among the best that we have ever visited.
With only 20 pitches there is lots of space for everyone and for us it was a treat to have our own water and electricity point right beside the tent.
Everyone mentions the toilet block and so they should. As well as being spotlessly clean it was wonderful to find, not just cubicles but spacious rooms with shower and sink and toilet all together.
If you are looking for a campsite with views then perhaps you will find better elsewhere but just minutes away is Minchinhampton Common with views a plenty and even a spectacular one looking across the Seven and all the way to Wales.
Minchinhampton itself is a typical Cotswold village with charming old houses and a good pub, but with only a handful of basic shops, you'll need to travel to nearby Tetbury for a more interesting shopping experience.
Without a doubt it is Lucy who makes this campsite what it is. She is super welcoming and will go well out of her way to make your stay as good as it can possibly be.
We loved Tobacconist Farm.

Met at gate by Lucy who quickly took me to a massive private pitch. Site spotless. Individual toilets and showers were very clean.
Fire pits available. Short walk to the village with a range of shops, pubs and cafes.
Ideally placed for walking on Minchinhampton common with its roaming cows and horses.
Thoroughly recommend site.
