August 2002 As the name suggests, the site is at the top of a hill and you get some good views (although this made it a bit windy this year).
It is quite a big site, although divided up nicely by hedges, fairly level, with good facilities and a shop, which is useful as it is a fair walk into Lynton. (Lynton being situated as it is there is not much available close-by the town). There is also a pub on the road by the entrance, which is family-friendly and has a good atmosphere.
Although the site is run in a businesslike manner, we found the owner (?) very friendly and informal. No complaints.
