Fabulous site, clean toilets and showers! Extremely friendly staff and wow, location could not be better.
Literally on the beach although you can’t actually see the beach because of the sand dunes, but it’s a 2 min walk!
The boardwalk with stalls, amusements and fun park for the kids along with all types of food options but if you want a lovely sit down meal - the high tide is fab!
We shall certainly be returning time and time again.

Staff were brilliant couldn’t of done any more to make us feel welcome.
Campsite and toilets/ showers were clean and tidy.
The hi tide pub food and entertainment was brilliant.
Would thoroughly recommend this campsite as there’s so much entertainment on the doorstep

Great location, right on the beach, booking in and out easy.
Ask for a pitch on the gravel park looking out to sea, so no risk of mud if it rains.
Book on the phone is easiest by ringing hi-tide pub.

What's not to like? Right by the beach, funfair, amusements, parks, sand dunes, town and great morning walks by the sea with my Golden Retriever.
Porthcawl holds many happy memories for me from the 80`s/90`s when I would stay in the static caravans with my Grandmother, now I'm making new memories with my own children.
The campsite is clean, friendly and in the best location.
Massive thumbs up from my family :)

A very basic caravan site. Mostly hard standings.
The showers are hot and pretty decent, but are rather small.
The chemical toilet is disgusting and in need of some proper care and attention.
If this was anywhere else other than on the sea front, you wouldn't go here.
It's only the location that draws in the caravans.
That said, it's always busy here.

Stayed the night at Sandy Bay Campsite in Porthcawl right on the beach close to hi tide restaurant pub and arcade.
Hi tides lovely new decking overlooking the beach chip shops and market stalls in the carpark opposite.
Short walk to theme park, and into the town near to Trecco Bay Campsite.
Key access to showers and toilets which were tidy and clean.
Fob access to the campsite £22 no electricity, no tent pitches only motor homes campervans and tourers.

Site is basic with electric hook up ( Car Park ) with very clean portacabin toilets and Showers which are locked and very clean. Also chemical toilet disposal.
The strong points are 100 yds from Sandy Beach plus amusements and the Hide Tide Pub facilities. We when there for lunch on a Sunday and it was very well organised for the number of customers and the food was good with a nice selection plus kids meals.
We choose the place as our dog loves beaches and it was ideal and we will definitely be returning.
Beach available to dogs between the 1st Oct - 30th April.

We had a lovely stay here for 4 nights. Toilets basic but spotlessly clean, so too the showers.
The site was quiet but it was midweek in March, I think it would be a bit overcrowded if all pitches were full as they are close together.
But we would definitely stay again as long as it was out of season, being next to the beach to walk the dogs everyday was wonderful.
Hopefully I will be back soon.
