Very noisy site with no restrictions on coming and going. Cars back and forth all night on both evenings blocking us in without a care.
Very load music from large groups and no one social distancing. Kids kicking balls against our motor home whilst parents just partied.
Ground was extremely hard and if we didn’t have hard ground pegs we wouldn’t have been able to pitch our awning.
Don’t think another visit will be on the cards for us.

Lovely place to stay but had a few problems.
There was no shower in the shower unit I went and complained about it for 3 days in a row they came and sorted it in the late afternoon on the 3rd day but only booked 4 days away!
There was no kettle, iron either which I also reported they said I would have them brought to the caravan but I never did.
I booked with park dean so you would expect not to have those problems.

This is a small lovely site in a busy seaside town. We were literally 2 mins from the sea.
Lovely pub with great food next door. Fairground. Lovely village town with plenty of shops, traditional as well as main street, plenty to see.
We will be coming back. Truckshow normally held in August which is why we attended but due to civil it was cancelled this year.
Look forward to next year now.

Great location to lovely beach hi tide bar reasonable price and quick service. Site needs upgrading.
Only 2 toilets for Both male and female not enough for 70 plus pitches and site no 2 near impossible to pitch an awning Due to hardcore.
No sanitiser in toilets or showers. So not very Covid secure. No grey waste disposal point and Elson point Very dirty and smelly floor often flooded with water and waste. Would think twice visiting again.
Porthcawl town centre really nice but they need to do something with the site which resembles a large rectangular car park

Very noisy site, fairground music blaring for 9hrs a day, dogs mess and rubbish throughout despite good efforts to keep it clean.
Scant regard to social distancing or mask wearing, crowds of people gathered around pub, restaurant and arcade.
On the plus side. Friendly site close to lovely beach and clean toilet block.

Clean site with decent toilets and showers.
Bar staff a little miserable but otherwise all staff very helpful.
Lack of grass on some of the pitches gave the feeling of camping on a car park.

Quiet level pitches with EHU, attached to busy leisure resort virtually on the beach.
Loved the brand new modular "rainfall" showers. Perfect water temperature too.
The site itself is a mixture of grass and coarse gravel, with an amount of old debris and litter. Behind our van was an ancient crumpled carpet shoved under the hedge. We were surprised to find the showers and toilets being cleaned between 08:00 and 09:30 just when we thought of using them.
