We saw the reviews for this site and I must say we were not disappointed. The staff were very attentive to our needs always having a smile on their faces. We went with family and had adjoining pitches next to one another. The shower blocks were very clean and the facilities for sport were great with the field giving plenty of opportunities to play various games. The pools were excellent booking individual time slots including pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Standlake is a small village but housed 2 great pubs both serving food. We went to the Black Horse which was very good. Only negative was the length of grass on the putting green, please make it shorter!

We had a very relaxing first outing for 2013 here after being told by a friend to stay here. We were not disappointed. Facilities first class, one of the best shower blocks we have used. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful pitch and location. Very handy for Witney and Oxford. Good village shop though essentials, including bread and croissants can be obtained from the site shop. Waitrose and Coop in Witney. As for eating out, we can most definitely recommend the Black Horse in Standlake. Excellent food, good drink and all very reasonably priced. All the staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly. If you are visiting from a Thursday evening onward and intend to eat there, pre booking would be a very wise move. Also it is only a stones throw from the site! Our break here was only marred by the weather, but after all it is England! Definitely will return.

Beautifully clean site and warm welcome.
Play area maintained well.
Childrens play field. Not allowed to play near vans. Out of 'watch' and too far away from the pitches so we didn't use it.
Showers and toilets are spotless.
Indoor pool that can be pre booked for private use and is encouraged but we really couldn't see the point being only three of us! Not much fun for the little ones to make new friends.
Again very clean.
Well stocked shop.
Only 10a electrical supply! Never ever seen this before and as a result it kept tripping out so don't use anything at 3kw!
Very particular about driving on the grass. Proved a bit of a problem when they asked me to park sideways on the hardstanding as I couldn't quite lift and place the 3 ton van!
Two pubs, one right outside. Very regimental landlady and not the friendliest of welcomes. Wouldn't return. The bell inn further up the road however if fantastic and a complete contrast.
Overall a lovely site and will return sometime.
Not much going on in walking distance but the bus stops outside for witney.

Fantastic site. This was my first outing with my 2 sons and 1 dog in our newly acquired caravan (ex tenter)
The site was easy to find, upon arrival I was greeted by a very welcoming lady on reception. I explained I was a novice and a helpful warden showed me to my pitch and talked me through the hooking up process.
The pitch was large, flat and well divided - that gave the feeling of privacy.
The whole site was spotlessly clean and the toilet/shower blocks were the best I have seen.
I pre booed the small pool for an hours private session which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The dog area is more than adequate and well fenced so you can safely let your dog off lead to stretch their legs (sadly, despite adequate bins and polite notices) there were clearly dog owners that seem to think the dog poo fairy will be cleaning up behind them!
I will definitely be going back 10/10 from me!

Excellent site, well laid out and spacious pitches especially if you opt for fully serviced (we didn't). The shower/toilet blocks are clean warm and 5* quality, the 3rd best we've found, beaten by Teversal C&CC site and York Caravan Park, but excellent nevertheless.
2 Pubs outside, we only used The Bell Inn and the food was superb as is the range of real ales.
Bus stop outside, 2 hourly service to Witney 20 minutes, and hourly to Oxford 40 minutes. There is a nice walk along the Windrush Trail to The Rose Revived at Newbridge, we failed to complete this due to mud for the last half mile, but would be good if the ground dries out.
There is a leisure centre on site with swimming pools, gym, sauna and spa, we didn't use these and there is a charge for using them.
I am sure we will return.

Third visit to this site in a year. Facilities are outstanding. Toilet blocks including showers are clean and warm. Pitches are of a good size and flat. Only criticism is the cost which seems expensive especially when use of the pool, gym and wifi are extra. Two nice pubs within a short walk both serving good food. Nearby footpaths lead to the Thames path approximately 2 miles. Also within easy reach of Farmoor Res. Which is ideal for bird watching.

Best site we have been on, beautiful clean warm ultra-modern shower block, enjoyed the facilities gym and swim £4 a session loved it; site was very pretty lots of wildlife and the staff were absolutely bob on.
We chose this site because we wanted to visit Oxford, Blenheim Palace and would recommend both; get a BOGOF ticket off eBay for the palace and take a trip around the Cotswolds its really pretty.
Local pubs were good but a little pricey as said before but we will definitely be going back.

Well what a fantastic site. Well positioned for days out in the Cotswolds, Broughton on the water springs to mind a lovely 'Chocolate Box' village.
The campsite is very well managed, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The heated shower/toilet blocks are both immaculate and superbly kitted out, free hair driers and piped music.
The pitches vary from normal to 'Super-Dooper' and are nicely placed. We were on pitch 22 which felt like we had our own little area, but all pitches seemed similarly set out.
There is a well equipped safe play area for the kids, and although we didn't have any with us, I would imagine they would have a whale of a time there. We did not participate in the pools and other leisure facilities but they too looked immaculately clean. The on site shop seemed well stocked of daily essentials.
Had a meal and a few drinkies at The Black Horse pub just around the corner. Also visited the Rose Revived about a mile away. Situated on the banks of the Thames, it was a great place to have lunch and a couple of pints, walk the dogs and have another couple on our return.
To sum up then; A great site, a great location with a couple of decent pubs within walking distance.

Just returned from our 4th camping trip of 2012 to Lincoln Farm Park after having been recommended to go by friends, now we cannot recommend it enough ourselves.
From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome by the lovely ladies on reception. You are given a map of the park; your pitch is highlighted, and by the time you have driven round a warden is there to greet you. The tent pitches are well sized all with 16 amp electric hook up. If requiring the sun you need to pitch on the left hand side.
There are 2 campers’ areas, the one at the top has a fridge, microwave and a picnic table which is undercover and the other end they have a full size fridge, freezer and microwave. They are great with the recycling which is pleasing to see. The shower block is very clean with plenty of hot water but like any shower block is difficult to keep the floor clean in wet weather! They have Heart radio playing 24/7 which is lovely.
The park is kept spotless and they even have hanging flowers on the buildings as well. The shop is well stocked and you can pre-order baguettes, loaves of bread or croissants for the following morning.
The two swimming pools are a real bonus, especially the private hire (1 hour duration) of which I suggest you book at the time of your initial booking as it is very popular. They also have public swimming sessions during the day. Both pools have spas, saunas and the bigger pool also has a steam room.
There are 2 pubs in the village, on arrival you probably noticed the Black Horse, it’s nothing special. Turn right out of the park and a 5 minute walk you arrive at The Bell by the village shop. It’s a lovely pub tastefully decorated with friendly staff and great food is served. You may want to book for the restaurant on a Friday and Saturday as it can get busy. We can highly recommend this pub.
No two stays need to be the same as so much to see and do with the Cotswold a short drive away.
If walking is your thing take a stroll to The Rose Revived at Newbridge (probably saw this on your way in). The 25 minute walk (approx. 1 mile) down the main road is interesting shall we say! There is a pleasant 3. 5 mile walk around the country lanes, we were even given a map at reception and the lady highlighted where we needed to walk. This took us about an hour. There is also a wooded walk which starts at the cross roads, you walk down the lane with Mulberry Bush School on your left. However this is not good if we have had a lot of rain as it floods in places making it difficult, it is a pretty walk though. The pub has plenty of seating inside and out and is next to the river. You can also hire boats from nearby. The price of the food seems reasonable (chain pub) although we have only ever been in for a drink or two!
We shall be returning for sure in 2013. A lovely park very well run and maintained.

We are new to caravanning, and wanted to try sites at either end of the spectrum to see which type of site we liked best. The last we visited was at Cardigan and so chose this site as one that appeared to have everything.
Facilities were excellent. Toilets blocks were well kept and spotless. Grounds were beautifully kept. Bins and recycling were emptied regularly.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in one night and at “The Bell” the other. The meal wasn't particularly cheap but very tasty and fine quality. The local bus stops right outside the site. Oxford is a £4. 90 return. I don’t know where Oxford bus trains its drivers but it was a white-knuckle 40mins.
As other reviewers have said the site is a little tight and pitch size could be an issue for some. It didn't effect us but I would agree with this view. There is not a feeling of wide-open space here. Prices were expensive, but this may be a reflection on the area rather than the site. Lots of facilities were 'extras' and are charged for.
I would have like to have seen more of the facilities included in the none too cheap pitch price.
WiFi was expensive at £3. 00 a day. It coped well enough with browsing but didn't manage to stream video in the evening. Download times for a film made watching one impractical.
