A site of the Highest Order. In Every detail this site is superb The washroom is almost Hotel standard complete with piped music. Staff are superb. Spotlessly clean. They even dust the outside decorative lamp posts with a long feather duster! The Leisure centre has two pools each with a hot tub and sauna, one with a steam room. A gym is also available. We hires the whole pool for 1 hour private use including sauna and hot tub 4 people for £13. Good shop selling basic foods and camping accessories. Newspapers available from 8:00 but be there early to get one. Check out the Black Horse pub close by. There are super pitches with waste and water connections (they have a device so no extra equipment is needed just your normal pump) available including TV hook up. Normal TV reception without hook up not good. Has a large amount of full shingle pitches so if yo want grass I would ask when booking. Security barrier, large dog walk, giant chess board. The site is close to Oxford and has a good local walk close by if you enjoy walking or have a Dog. Just turn left out of the gate straight over at the junction and keep going past the school. The Bell pub is also quite good also within a short walk from the site. No streetlights in village so take a torch. The Greyhound pub on the way to Oxford is a smoke free pub serving food., a delight Large field for, kids to play in. Tents also accepted

The site is very pristine with a nice selection of plots, all gravelled with grass around it. Unfortunately, this gave the impression that some of the plots were a bit like a car park. I had booked well ahead and asked for a plot away from the play area. The one I was allocated was 3 pitches away from the play area, backing onto a chalet and next to the chemical waste disposal. It was very disappointing so I asked to change. There were only 2 pitches available by then but I took one of the alternatives. It wasn't a very good start, especially when I was about to peg in my day tent behind the camper and was told I wasn't allowed to use it, despite the fact that everyone else had enormous awnings and set ups. That said we did have a good time there, the loos were immaculate and the swimming pool was wonderful. It was nice and quiet, until Friday night when a very noisy group of people arrived in the field behind us. Children of all ages were running around screaming and shouting, running in and out of the loo block (which was intimidating for my own children), with no-one telling them to be quiet. The site is supposed to have a quiet policy after 9.30pm but this went on til 11.00pm and they were up at 7.00 the next morning. I would consider going back out of season as there were many plus points (the pool and nearby pub) but I wouldn't during high season due to the noise. By the way, the best plots looked like the one in The Spinney as they were quiet and pretty, although I'm not sure if you get the evening sun and they may be serviced pitches, in which case you pay more.

We have just returned from our second visit to this lovely site (1st trip was July 2005). The high standards we experienced last year had not slipped. This is a very clean, friendly and well planned site. We particularly enjoyed our private hire family swim in one of the sites two indoor pools. We found the fridges and freezers available in the campers kitchen very useful. We ate at 'The Black Horse' pub right next to the site which had a varied menu. Lots of pretty villages around the area. Hope to return soon.

We absolutely love this site. The staff are really friendly, can't do enough for you. The pitches are well cared for and some are fully serviced. What is also lovely about this site is that it has two indoor swimming pool areas, each with jacuzzi and sauna. If you fancy a bit of privacy, you can also hire the pool for an hour or two, which is relaxing. Two pubs within walking distance. Try both if you can. The Bell has the most beautiful restaurant out the back where you can dine in front of the fire and has first class menu. Bike riding round the villages is also fun. You can also take the bus into Oxford which is only about half an hour away and it picks you up and drops you off just out side the campsite. Superb site.

Have to say this is an excellently run site. Had no problems in our two visits to it in 2005.
Some of the pitches are smaller than others, so bear this in mind when you book. We treated ourselves to a fully serviced pitch on our second visit. Not that you really nead it at the toilet facilities are outstanding. The main reason we did is that you get an enclosed hardstanding to yourself with grassed area and picknic table.
The pool is excellent, remember to book it in advance as you may be dissapointed and end up having to use one of the public sessions at the start or end of the day.
The Black Horse PH can be recommended for both food and drink. If you fancy a drink by the river, try either the Rose Revived or the Maybush.
There are large freezers if you require them and a microwave.
The only fault we can find is the washing up area. Although it has a roof, it can be very cold if the wind is in the wrong directions. Also the water sometimes did not seem to get hot enough to wash up with.

We have just returned from a week at Lincoln farm park, our first vist, and felt we must tell every one how good the site is. Every where is always spotless toilets and showers are faultless. we had two great pitches near the park area which did cause concern about noise at night with older kids hanging about but staff came at 9 every night to ensure park empty and moved on anyone hanging about.
We hired the pool out 4 times during the week and always found easy to book when we wanted, pool area also spotless! Staff were all very friendly and very helpful showing us to our pitch on arrival and helping to push our caravan into position. Overall a great site and friendly staff highly recommend. Cant wait to go again!

June 2005 After all the recommendations, we stayed at this site. Very well managed site. Clean facilities, good shop, excellent pub ( the blak horse) next to it. The only thing the shop did not sell was beer, but not a bad thing with the pub next door. Clean toliets and showers ( with music), a baby/family room. Notes: 1. If you wish to hire the pool completely, do so at time of booking. 2. Book early 3. They have 2 extentions for departue 3pm and I think 6 pm.
We'll go there again.

June 2005 Very nice site. Clean and quite(except for the occasional child scream or dog bark). Free use of fridge and microwave, and freezer!!. Good size pitches more than enough room for a Hartford XXL and people carrier. Swimming pool is best hired for 1hr when you book up your pitch, very clean pool, sauna, steam room (£10.50 approx for 2 adults + 2 children). Fresh bread available at the shop, all in all a very good site, that we will make a return visit to soon.

March 2005 An excellent site as indicated on previous posts. Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean showers and loos. The only small bad point in my opinion is the hardstanding pitches could be bigger, especially when you have a large awning but to be fair this is really irrelevant when the rest of the site is so good.We hope to visit again in the near future.

March 2005 Just spent 4 days this Easter (2005) at Lincoln Park Farm. Our first visit.
This is a very well appointed site, but aimed more at caravans than tents (we have a tent now !) There are only a small number (16-18) of tent pitches, but several would be big enough to take our Aztek 9 man dome. At one end of the tent 'strip' is a covered picknic bench area with microwave and fridge, and at the other end is a toilet block, heated with piped music !. A short walk further into the caravan area is a much larger (and warmer) toilet block with laundry.
Only problems we found was noise - loud party in two tents until 1am and one morning someone in a caravan decided to play his CD at full blast at 2am. The other problem was the power supply, and this is annoying! The tent power is rated at 6amps (thats 1.2KW max) whereas the caravans get 10amps or 16 amps all at the same price. The downside is that you cant use a 2KW heater (needed this Easter) without the power tripping out. I thought this was bad and we remained cold.
Plus point is the swimming pools (yes two) each with a sauna and whirlpool. The larger pool also has a steam room. The fact that either of these can be hired by the hour and are spotlessly clean is amazing - live the life of a lottery winner for an hour !!!
Outside the park there are a couple of pubs - one was a bit child unfriendly and had a large outside marquee with tables for families. This was OK and had a number of table patio heaters to warm things up (too hot) BUT take care none of this kit was tied down and in my book that is downright dangerous. They would be hit hard by the HSE if there was an accident.
So Lincoln Park Farm is a great site, but not without flaws (mainly the limited tent power supply). Facilities are excellent and the pool hire is unique. We will go again.
