Just returned from a 4 night break at Lincoln Farm Park with our two children aged 6 and 4.
We used this site as a stop off on our way down South. The site is well located for visiting Oxford and the surrounding area.
As other reviewers have said, this site has first class facilities. The toilets were immaculate! There was a washing up sink and elsan point a short walk from our pitch.
The children enjoyed the play area and the small animals.
Some of the pitches on the site were much larger than others. We had a tiny pitch compared to some – however we only booked this last minute.
We only used the pool once – this cost £11 for a family of four in the smaller of the two pools. Alternatively you could hire the pool for £15 or £18. The cost of the open sessions is not on the website – I thought it was a bit on the expensive side.
A very well maintained, clean, gravel pitch sort of a site! Not sure it was really for me though.

We first visited this site in July 2007 and were so impressed with the first class facilities and atmosphere. When we returned in July 2010 we were a little disappointed.
Staff seemed disinterested and didn't seem to have the time for customers. Facilities weren't as clean as before (but they are still good). Some of the pitches are very close together.
This site is great for families but not for those looking for some peace and quiet.
The hire of the 2 swimming pools are still extremely good value for money.
The pub next door is fantastic. A bit pricey but well worth it and the staff are very friendly, including the resident cat!
A visit to Blenheim Palace is also a must.

We visited Lincoln Farm Park at the start of our two week touring holiday, with the sole intention of visiting Oxford.
Standlake is a gorgeous little sleepy village, very quiet and picturesque (two pubs and a Post Office / general store), with a riverside pub being 40 minutes stroll away.
We found the site easily, being signposted from High Street.
A lovely warm welcome awaited us. Quick and efficient booking in, followed by directions to our pitch (the owner radioing to her husband which pitch for him to guide us into).
Pitches are mostly hard-standing, large enough to accommodate our 'van, together with awning if required, with a patch of grass suitable for sunbathing, table and chairs, etc. A quick snoop at facilities revealed why this site has a 5 star rating.
We were soon settled in!
The next day, we popped into Reception to ask about bus times, whereupon we were promptly given a very handy bus timetable. The number 18 (20 past the hour) bus departs from the opposite side of the road to the bus-stop outside the site (just stick your hand out to signal for the driver to stop and pick you up) and cost £4.80 return each.
It took 40 minutes to drive into Oxford itself, being dropped off in George Street, which we found to be quite central and where you catch the return bus at 5 past the hour. We caught the City Sightseeing tour bus (£12.50 per adult for a 24 hour, hop-on/hop-off pass, OAP and children's concessions), the round trip taking about an hour and you can do as many round trips as you like within 24 hours. We found twice to be enough!
Upon returning to the site, we are ashamed to say that we did not make full use of the on-site facilities, choosing instead to relax with a drink and some good food next to the van, with Gordon the tame squirrel for company.
All in all, this site deserves every one of its 5 stars and we would definitely return again if in the area, if only for being able to get to sleep at 10.30pm due to lack of noise!

This has got to be the cleanest site we have ever visited.
Called in May last year and had a great week. We booked the swimming pool on two occasions and although it seemed expensive was the best thing we have done having the whole pool to ourselves. The facilities are superb and regularly cleaned. Staff were very helpful at all times and a well stocked shop had everything we needed.
There was a strict no noise after 11 pm policy and this was adhered to ever night of our visit.
Pitches are different sizes so call beforehand to arrange suitable site (we were asked the size of our tent when booking).
Great family friendly pub a minute away but booking is advisable as it is pretty busy - live music on the week we were there went down nicely.
Another pub a mile or so away through woodland was superb and we hired an electric punt on the river for a 30 min trip catching several sightings of kingfishers.
Liked it so much we have booked again for this year.

Lincoln Farm Park is one the the best! We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, very well kept, exceptionally clean and fantastic facilities. (A full size larder fridge, freezer and even a microwave to use - totally spoilt)
I cannot praise enough, we had a short weekend stay as a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 9 and our 2 year old golden retriever. We went with another family and were allocated pitches next to each other and had ample space.
A very quiet site in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with lovely Walk to a local Riverside pub.A beautiful setting and you can just watch the boats go by. This is the The oakleaf walk and takes about 45 min each way, is flat and ideal for that leisurley stroll.
The swimming pools are the best, we are so glad we booked a slot when we arrived to have the facilities to ourselves, the kids were very impressed with having our own private pool and we all loved the jacuzzi, steam and sauna!
A great play area for the kids and a separate ball games field to include mini golf and a games room.
A well stocked shop on site selling everything you need for your stay and a sainsburys nearby also.
All in all we had a great weekend and will definitely be returning. We particularly liked the fact no-one could enter the site without a pass card to swipe at the gated entrance which you were given at check-in. It felt secure and very well managed.
A 5* site - you will not be disappointed.

Excellent site agree totally with previous reviews, staff friendly and helpful. The site was in a good location for visiting the lovely cotswold villages.
Witney well worth a visit good parking facilities with no charges for up to 3 hours. To visit Oxford use the park & ride sites which surround the city. They offer free parking all day with just £2 return fare on the bus right into the centre of the city with the buses running every 10 minutes.

A wonderful site! Fantastically clean even thought the site was fully booked when we there in half term hols. Great facilities - pools are great and jacuzzi very relaxing.
Great site for kids although our pitch was quite close to the playground and the kids were quite noisy up until at least 9.30pm (not site's fault though but parents!).
I loved the campers kitchen, saved me having to freeze my freezer blocks as there are freezers to put your food, and then a microwave for cooking!
Beautiful location.
Will definitely be going again.

This is a beautiful site! We stayed for 2 nights and only wished we could have spent more time here. All the facilities were A1 - every fine detail has been catered for.
We had a lovely solid hard standing pitch with an electric hook up!
The toilets and showers were spotless no matter what time of day.
The site has a little shop which has basic necessities.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming!
We'll definitely be visiting again!

Lincoln Farm had been recommended to us as a lovely site and it did not disappoint.
What previous reviewer said is all true - pitches fab, shower blocks - best ever seen, park for kids good, bunnies & hens - a lovely touch.
Already booked to return and have booked our slot in the swimming pool when booked this time as they go quickly.

We stayed for 3 nights. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a map of the site and highlighted the route to our pitch.
On arrival at our pitch we were promptly met by a 'ranger' who showed us the boundaries of our pitch, where the toilets were, where our electric hookup was and where the washing up facilities were. He also gave us some basic rules of the site. Very friendly and helpful.
The pitch was large but I would recommend telling the site when booking the size of your tent as some pitches certainly seem bigger than others.
The toilets were spotless 24/7 and the piped music was a nice touch. The washing up facilities were very good and the microwave, fridge and freezer were a nice touch.
The site has a games room with a pool table, table football and games machine. It has a putting green and outdoor draughts/chess. It also has a large field for ball games etc. It has a large playground although we found it very crowded for our small children.
We hired the pool for an hour which was very nice. My only comment on this would be to have more overlap time. You lose half your time in the pool when you have small children who need changing as you have to be in and out within the hour so the next party can get in. Very good facilities though. Steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and large pool and all very clean.
The site also has a small well stocked shop with both food and camping supplies.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, would recommend the site and would return.
