Just back from our first visit. Excellent facilities but we didn't really use as pretty self-sufficient. Loos/showers looked very good, clean and warm when I checked them out. Good information centre. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Pools and gym looked interesting. Site nicely laid out. Digital TV on a status aerial and mobile reception good (including internet coverage). Good country walks in area. Tried both pubs in village. The Black Horse (just outside park entrance) was excellent and more than just 'pub grub'. The fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had in this country. A few minutes walk up to the village to shop/post office and The Bell Inn. Nicely done up. Welcoming Aussie owners. Food very good but I think I preferred The Black Horse. Would definitely re-visit.

Another great visit to Lincoln Farm Park. The service was fantastic as ever, we even had a phone call the day before we were due to arrive to tell us about a road closure and to suggest an alternative route. How fantastic is that!
Only one tiny, tiny moan, the water in the showers was a bit too hot for my liking, but my wife loved it. The site has a shop selling basic groceries, a gym and 2 swimming pools that can be hired out. As well as a games field, putting green, children's play area and a small games room. Being the beginning of the season only one of the two shower blocks was open, the other block serves the tent area, but it was too wet to use that area anyway.
We had a meal in the Black Horse pub next to the site and it was lovely. Paid a visit to the Bell Inn for a swift pint and were very impressed by the warm welcome. Didn't have chance for a meal there but will try it next time.
Witney is a nice little town to visit and Oxford will take you a couple of days to explore as well. You must visit Blenheim Palace, it's easy to spend a whole day there.
There isn't an awful lot to do in the area if you have young kids. I'd say that this is a site that caters for the family who want a quiet break away from it all, especially as there is little or no mobile signal on the site.
Great site, great staff and great facilities.

This is the only site we have ever revisited. Its also without doubt the best site we have ever stayed on in the UK. Pitches are level and well drained, the facilities spotlessly clean and warm.
The site has an overall air of cleanliness and the staff are most helpful efficient and accomodating. The leisure facilities are top-notch and the shop well stocked. Security is excellent and the site is well lit at night.
Its an excellent base for Oxford, Didcot, Blenheim Palace etc. The Ashmolean Museum is worth setting a whole day aside for, use the park and ride. I found it more cost effective to drop the family in Oxford, they can get a coffee while I went back to park and ride.
I was back with the family within 30 minutes! Reverse in the evening meant we saved about £10 a day.

This is the best site we have visited this year.
Used voucher from The Mirror £1 a night camping offer - but with add ons such as dogs - worked out to £40.00 for 3 nights.
Lovely shower/toilet block, heated with music playing. Good shop & information shed. Lots of washing up points close by - no excuses!
Dog walking area - very small, compared to size of playing field which dogs are'nt allowed on.
Bus stop outside took us to whitney and oxford for days out - no problems allowing dogs on the bus.
Pubs to left and right of site. The black horse does not let dogs in (although they have one themselves. The Bell - allows dogs inside.
Very enjoyable and relaxing break - recommend!

Spent 5 nights in August. Second visit in 2 years. I really love this site. The toilet blocks - and I don't feel too weird basing opinion on this - is great. Very clean.
Nice play field. Free putting green, which one of these years I will find time to use. You pay for swimming pool, but it is great - worth the money. Pitches are fine. Good for kids.
Location is great. We went to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Visited Burford and Oxford.
Local pubs are walking distance - though I did not visit this time. Last year I enjoyed good food and beer.
Deserves AA award in 2010.

This site is everything you expect from a 'Best of British' site, which is a very high standard. We have stayed at 3 best of british sites and they've all been superb.
Here, the play areas for the kids were great, showers and toilets clean and the pitch flat and generously sized although the previous campers' used bbqs were still there when we arrived! It was a very busy week but didn't seem too crowded at the facilities which could easily cope with demand.
The pool was great, and worth paying to have a private session with your family. The local pub a stones throw away is recommended. Food quite reasonable and nice.
If you're there in summer the maize maze nearby is a great day out with kids and the farm shop there is superb for stocking up for the bbq! I would recommend this site.

This campsite is top class. We stayed Monday to Friday morning and the site was full, this however did not hinder our stay. The pitch was large and all had electrical hook up. The facilities were excellent and included microwave and fridge freezes which proved very useful.
Nearby there were nice local pubs and the local town of Whitney was well worth visiting. Oxford is only a small drive away. The only downside I can think of was that the pool table cost one pound per game which for kids with pocket money would soon run out.
P.S the toilets were the best toilets of any campsite. So far. Always warm and clean with radio playing and excellent showers

I always compare a site to the Caravan Club standards and this lovely park matches the CC very well. The cheerful management team work hard(and long hours) to maintain spotless facilities throughout. Lots of washing up bays are dotted around the park with grey water and chemical disposal points alongside. Two shower blocks serve tenters and vanners alike. Although we haven't camped with little ones for years the youngsters appeared to be enjoying themselves in spite of the heavy rain. Some campers arrived and weren't happy with the pitches allocated them but the staff happily relocated them to their satisfaction. Just a little grumble I thought the showers were feeling the strain towards the end of the season but other than that we shall certainly tell friends about this park. We felt very rested after a few days staying here.

I had never been camping before. We chose this site because it looked clean and big. The site was amazing. The shop, facilities including pool are just 5*.
Pitched easily and only shared with 3 other tents at the time. Microwave appears to be a specific for this site so far for me. Toilets were so clean and showers warm and easy to use. Pub just out side the park gates basically. Really sweet place with great food and beer. We went there every night and had lunch there on our last day.
Drove to park and ride for oxford which was 20 or so mins away. I now say one year later that this site has ruined me for other sites as it was so good.

This site was easily the best kept site I have visited in a long time.
The toilet blocks were nothing short of spectacular and I could not fault them in any way. The site is pleasantly situated in a relatively quiet setting and there are excellent facilities on site including 2 swimming pools.
There are two very nice pubs nearby selling good food and drinks and both are within walking distance from the site.
A very pleasant dog walking route is just outside the site and takes you around some former quarrying sites which have long ago been landscaped and turned into fishing and water sport lakes, making for a very pleasant circular walk of varying distances.
The site staff are very pleasant and helpful and the site shop is well stocked.
Playground facilities for the children are safe and modern and the general appearance of the site is exemplary.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this site.In fact one of my friends is actually stopping off here on his return journey from the continent as I write this review.
