Reception was excellent the wardens were welcoming and very informative about the site and the local area.
We were told to choose any pitch all pitches were a good size and electric, water and waste. There were both grass and hard standing pitches. Grass was kept short and well cared for.
The farm shop is open at weekends we found the beef and lamb extremely nice as was the fruit and veg.
Along side is a small cafe with a good but limited menu again only open on the weekend.
Toilet and shower facilities were excellent clean and spacious there were also private showers and toilets again excellent. Hot water was fine.
An excellent adult only site

Spent three nights at this site and have to say what a absolute pleasure. The site has fantastic Facilities and great amenities for hook up and waste etc around the site. There is a very well stocked farm shop on site and a cafe that serves very good food at a reasonable price. A local pub is a fifteen minute walk and allows dogs in the bar, the pub serves good food and are very welcoming. The wardens on site are very relaxed and welcoming providing a handy information book on arrival. Only negative is as it is a farm there is vast areas of open exposed land which could prove a disadvantage to fellow tent goers when the wind picks up, pitches are ok in size though not big enough for the large tents and a canopy. Uneven ground makes choosing a pitch a mission in itself. Do not let this put you off would highly recommend and I shall be returning.

This review is to reiterate what other reviewers have said. A marvellous site. Lots of info given to us on arrival, apart from one important fact. The whereabouts of the pub. It is only about a 20 minute walk away but some people will be put off as you have to cross the busy main A43 to get to it. Do not be put off. The road quietens down after about 6 oclock and the pub is well worth a visit. The beer was in excellent condition and the landlord is very friendly. We did not eat but the people on the next table did and it looked good. The site is a bit pricy at £21. 00 but did not mind paying that amount for an 'all singing all dancing' site. We would definitely go again.

Visited this site last week and found all the facilities of the very highest standard as suggested in previous posts.
A welcome smile on arrival and great help with things to do in the area from the warden.
Pitches, both grass and hard standing are large with plenty of room between each one being fully serviced.
The cafe/tearoom/shop, although only open at the weekend was excellent.
The flying display by the Red Kites is fantastic to watch each day.
Lots of lovely villages nearby and the town of Oundle is interesting to walk round.
Certainly a site we would return to.

What a fantastic site this is. Its very difficult to find fault with it.
Very friendly staff to greet you, excellent information pack full of places to eat, places to go and great walks.
You can pick your own hard standing or grass pitch all have water and electric.
The facilities are superb and maintained to a very high standard.
Although the weather for our weekend stay was poor, it didn't stop us being able to enjoy the views over the fields from our pitch.
Walked into Bulwick (about 20mins) and enjoyed a nice lunchtime drink at the Queens Head. Pub is full of character and the food looked very good.
We can thoroughly recommend the on site farm shop and in particular the farms own beef. Some of the best we have eaten.
The site is great and the area and the villages merit a very speedy return. Top marks.

We have been motorhoming for many years and have not felt the need to leave a review until visiting this site, as stated in previous reviews this site is a credit to all staff involved with running of this site, from the moment of our arrival we were warmly greeted and given a very informative booklet with interesting information, we were informed we could choose our own pitch with full service bollards available without the usual nonsense of doors to the right or left, the pitches are very generous and mostly level, a generous dog walk area is available where well controlled dogs are allowed to exercise of the lead. The w/c facilities are absolutely immaculate, due to the nature of my work I have stayed in 4/5 star hotels which still would not compare to the cleanliness upheld on this site, I could continue giving nothing but praise for this site and trust they receive the awards they should be given, I will not hesitate to return to this site

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at new lodge farm and I can not find any words to describe how brilliant this site it. We have stayed here four times now and will be returning again soon.
Although this site is off the A43 there is very little noise, the scenery is second to none with plenty of red kites and other birds visiting. As it is a working farm there are also cows and sheep with add to the scenery and make it a great environment.
The site and facilities are always clean and tidy. The shower block is amazing there is plenty of space in each cubicle and privacy rooms around the corner, I have never been to a site with such great showers and facilities. The washing up room again is just fantastic this also has washing machines etc.
The farm shop and cafe are brilliant, the food is homemade and is very delicious and good value for money.
The main thing though that makes this site one of a kind are the people that own and run it. Sarah and Simon have done a fantastic job with this site and should be very proud, we are very fussy people but have found a place that we do not want to leave. The staff in the cafe/ shop are so helpful and polite and the two site wardens are so friendly and they always remember us they could not be any better.
As I said at the start of my review I cannot put into words how amazing this site is. A big well done from the Hill's

Just returned from a long Bank Holiday weekend at this excellent site. We were on one of their fully serviced grass pitches which was more or less level and was a very good size. The site is new only opened last year and as such is still a little bare no real screening between pitches at the moment, but I'm sure that will develop over time. The site is very well kept and was mowed regularly whilst we were there, plenty of rubbish and recycling points across the park as well. Facilities are excellent and kept very clean, the site was nearly full but never had to queue for the showers. The showers themselves were quite spacious and hot and powerful (too hot at times), the only down side is that they are the dreaded push button style (a personal hate) and it was seemingly a very short space of time between 'pushes' but that is a minor niggle.
The only other small suggestion would be that the WiFi on the site is extended to cover the whole site, it's currently only operational near to the farm buildings. I try not to use the Internet too much whilst I am away, but it is useful for checking the weather and researching places to visit. The general mobile data single on both my phone & tablet was poor so the wifi was important.
All the staff on the site were really helpful and they produce an excellent welcome pack the warden's recommendation of the Royal Oak at Duddington for our evening meal on the Sunday was an excellent choice. Will definitely be returning and wholeheartedly recommend this site.

Our second visit since owning our first caravan in September 2014 and boy is the place even better than we remembered. We took friends in their caravan and they too loved it. This site is first class with lovely big pitches, each fully serviced and level. The facilities are superb, spotlessly clean due to Carol, the warden, eye for detail. The staff are so friendly here and the Dome, as they call their shop & cafe, has produce to die for. This time we visited the Nene Valley railway & had a great steam train ride to Peterborough and back. We walked from the station into Peterborough for a wander around. A very enjoyable day. We visited Rockingham Castle not to be missed but check when it is open and also Stamford. What a lovely little town it is with lovely architecture and some cute little shops. All in all we had a wonderful time at what is one of our favourite sites. Visit you won't be disappointed.

Just returned from this fantastic base for exploring a beautiful part of the world.
The facilities are probably the best we have come across. There is ample amount with spare WCs linked to the farm shop if required. Showers are lovely and hot and spacious cubicals. Small gripe, like all cubicals there is a tendency for your clothes to get a little over spray if you are not careful and we did find that the timer on the shower very short so pressing the valve becomes a showering habit. The Landry is also superb and indoor washing up makes a big difference when camping. Again all is lovely and clean & well laid out. Tip: they use s bio-digester so if you take your own washing or washing up liquid take the Eco one, if not it can be bought at a reasonable price from the shop.
The site itself is also very well maintained, well rollered, regularly cut grass. Plenty of power & water points as well as close by bins & recycling.
Couple of points. The farm shop isn't open during the week and the office is not manned all day so be mindful of your provisions. The site is a little bit open, it's new and the planting hadn't had time to provide any screening or shelter, but it will in time. The weather was windy all week and this made a difference to us, next year it should be established. The site had great views, but this also means it's on a high point, so this extra cover would be most welcome.
Also the pitches were not the biggest we have seen (not the smallest either), we have a very large 6 man tent and we filled the pitch.
The final point is the proximity of the main A43. There is a big field between you and it and it is a straight road so there are very few accelerating engines. But is is near by, it didn't disturb us at any time but if you are a light sleeper, take your ear plugs.
We'd certainly return to this site.
There is a great pub in Bulwick you can walk to and some fantastic towns and villages to explore.
