They've put a lot of effort into this site. It scores 100% on almost every aspect. Cleanliness is second to none. Service are second to none. It sides on to the a43 and depending on the direction of the wind, it can be a bit noisy. Having said that I am the lightest of sleepers but I am used to wasting earplugs.
The local village Bulwick, has a lovely pub but we didn't eat there but is also has a tea terrace in the local shop. This too is very good and I highly recommend the home made produce. The only downside is the none maintenance of local footpaths. Some stiles are impossible to find, signposts crumbling and even worse I believe some local farmers are against walkers. What's the point of putting up a sign 1 field from a road after walking across many fields and bogs to be faced by 'Warning. Cows with calves can be aggressive especially if you have a dog' What is one expected to do? Go back? Take a risk? I avoided the cows by climbing fences and walking where I shouldn't. Then once across the road, the next field with a footpath had 'Warning bull in field' This would not happen in a walking county like Derbyshire. Where the farmers are used to walkers. So avoid the village of Deene. Footpaths also cross the very busy A43. Take you life in you hands.

Absolutely delightful time spent at New Lodge Farm! Thank you very much and I think it will become a regular place to visit. So nice to see such attention to detail. And the owners were wonderful. Think we could become life long friends! Great access, plenty of space, spotlessly clean.

I almost don't want to do a review for this site as I want to keep it all to myself, I don't want it to get so busy we struggle to book. Its one of the best sites we have ever stayed on. The Owners run a very relaxed site and the Wardens are friendly and really seem to enjoy the job. The shower block is kept very clean. There is a conservatory bistro where you can have a drink and something to eat. The breakfasts seem popular. Also has a well stocked farm shop which we always visit before going home. We don't really venture out as enjoy just relaxing when on site but we did go to Stamford which is very nice. Lots of 'quaint' shops.
Will be back.

Spent August Bank Holiday Weekend at this excellent site. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly site manager, given a welcome pack, full of useful information, about the site and the area. We had a great pitch, plenty of room, and we looked out over wonderful countryside, and a herd of Aberdeen Angus. The enclosed dog walk is the best I've seen, lovely to let the dogs run in a large safe environment. Toilet and shower facilities are first class. The site has a farm shop, selling a range of produce from the farm and local area. The Aberdeen Angus Steak was superb. A short 10 minute stroll takes you to Bulwick village, quaint thatched cottages and a nice pub. Although the site was full for the Bank Holiday Weekend, it certainly never felt overcrowded. A very peaceful, chilled out relaxing few days. We will definitely be retuning. Perhaps one slight improvement for the future would be a drive over waste disposal point for Motorhomes.

Brilliant place to stay. Showers immaculate, no waiting even on a Bank Holiday weekend. Steve, lynn, Ian and Carol (the wardens) always ready to help, no-matter how busy they are. Make you feel like part of the family. There is no rush to leave at the end of your stay like every aspect of their attitude they are very easy going on times. The farm shop is well worth a visit with quality local produce.
The fishing facilities are understated on the website, it is actually a very good carp water with an average bag of between 70-100LB the fish are in perfect condition due to the spring water and hard fighters. There is weed but definite channels can be seen. Use light tactics hemp and halibut ground bait with a halibut pellet tight to the island for easy catch. A real quality venue for £7. 00 a day.
We moved here from a very disappointing site in May halfway through a holiday and have stayed since as a seasonal.

Wow, what a lovely site. The grass area we were on was level; although some parts of the site had a very slight slope. The toilets were very clean and modern. The farm shop was amazing clean, bright and all items sold were value for money. We could not help ourselves and had one of their lovely cream teas (The cafe is only operating at the weekends). The views all around were beautiful, as is that part of the country, which we'd not visited before; but will return! The owners and their staff were very friendly and helpful. This site is operating at the high end of sites and at a very reasonable charge per night(I've paid more, for less, on other sites with modern facilities).
I would not hesitate in recommending New Lodge Farm; well done Simon, Sarah and all their Singlehurst crew (especially 'MUM' in the cafe)

Have visited this site twice and cannot recommend it enough. You can pick your own fully serviced pitch (grass of hard standing, welcome pack full of useful information, friendly welcome & free WiFi. Excellent showers, toilets & wash up area. The food in the Bistro is worth trying and we now arrange our journey so that we can stock up in the Farm Shop. The local Pub in Bulwick is about 20mins walk serving good Beer and excellent food. The dog walking field is enclosed & large enough to let your dog have a good walk or run off the lead. My only criticism is that it is a rather exposed site with no shelter so it could be interesting on a windy day. We are sure to return.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this wonderful site. We were so impressed with the very spacious pitches, all serviced. Also the fabulously kept showers and loos and plenty for everyone. There is a lovely on site shop that stocks pretty much everything you might need, and the most noticeable thing of all was the friendly Smiles from each member of staff. ! This is a great reflection on Sarah the owner who was also a lovely lady. We have to mention the maintenance man who went the extra mile to help us with a problem with our daughters caravan. There are some lovely pubs nearby but we stayed at the adult only site and enjoyed lunch and a drink at the very relaxing cafe there. Sarah has created a lovely, large dog walking area which was all fenced in so you could let it off the lead for a while. We will most certainly be regular campers at new lodge farm. Forgot to mention the brilliant view of the farm lands over the horizon. Lots of local walks if you enjoy walking and a short drive to Kettering or Corby for shopping etc. So very well worth a visit to this site. !

Site was very easy to find. Wardens were extremely welcoming, pleasant and friendly as were all of the staff we encountered in the farm shop and cafe too. The site has entrance and exit barriers which close after 11pm, but there is an ample car park right next to the site in case you are out late one evening.
You may pitch anywhere you like, every caravan pitch is fully serviced. The pitches are nice and flat and are well spaced so you don't feel like you are crowding each other. There are numerous electric hook ups for tents as well towards the edge of the site. The only thing lacking is perhaps a bit of tree screening for the busy main road as there is a little road noise; this would be more of an issue for someone in a tent. The road traffic does die down as the evening wears on though, so don't be put off by this. There is low level unobtrusive lighting next to each pitch which is a nice touch.
We had a lovely breakfast at the camp site cafe on the Saturday morning and purchased some delicious bread, cheese and meat for our bbq from the farm shop. The cafe is a nice touch, it's currently only open at the weekends though, and we recommend the breakfast (not to be confused with their all day breakfast brunch on the menu, ask for the breakfast and they will advise you what it comes with).
The loos and showers are immaculate and spot on - never had to queue despite the site being quite busy. The showers are push button and there is ample hot water.
There is a dedicated dog walking field where you can let well behaved dogs off the lead with a dog bin at the entrance/exit to the field. The farm itself is huge with Aberdeen Angus cattle grazing and sheep nearby. Very relaxing site as there is no noise and adult only - we will definitely consider returning, we both really enjoyed our stay here.
