Nice clean and good toilet / shower block.
The park is family run so the owner is all ways on hand to help you. I arrived late on saturday afternoon on a bank holiday weekend. The park was full but the owner put his self out to help find somewhere for me to park and even let me plug in to the little shop. £14 per night with electric.

The toilets where very very clean considering the park was full 60 to 70 caravans and tents. Didn't get to see the town or local attractions, I only stayed for one night. They were in the middel of upgrading the electric points and adding lots more (this didn't seem to affect any one).

There was only a couple of small points.
No TV points so the kids went bonkers looking at the fizzy screen (only could get channel 5)
And there is no play area at all!

Dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

The site itself appeared clean and well cared for. Although it's right next to a road, it's very quiet. On site amenities include a small shop, toilets and washing facilities. Nightlife is restricted to bats, owls, and the occasional hedgehog.

Thurston (about a mile away) has a bakery, a post office/general store, garage/filling station, pub, hotel, part-time vet, and a railway station (Bury/Ipswich).

Beyton is also about a mile away. It's a quieter village with two pubs and a very large village green, which may be picnicked on.

Liz & Donagh add:

Very clean and well cared for site with friendly atmosphere. Local villages have basic amenities but Bury is only a short taxi or bus ride away.

We would definitely recommend this site to other campers.
