We stayed for 2 nights at a cost of £8 a night which was great, the shower block was a pain not opening till 9.00am and closing at 7.00pm. Very ice beach which was a 5 min walk and a 10min walk to town. I will be going back but pitching away from the tress as the ravens or blackbirds make a real load noise at 04.30 in the mornings lol

We took the opportunity of a last minute break cheap deal (£50 for 3 night basic EHU) to check the site before our main holiday later this year. Found the staff on check in very polite and helpful and was reassured by a security guard driving around - he even stopped and asked if we were OK when we were putting up the tent. Lots of children around on bikes and playing (great for us with 4 kids to make friends, not so good if you want a quiet time or to be able to drive to your pitch without fear of a child darting out of a side road in front of you!), there is a road nearby which can be heard when all goes quiet during the night, but as we live by a road it didn't bother us very much, other happy campers included every age and variety. I was disappointed at the distance needed to walk to the toilets/washing up and shower blocks (not good when a 6 year old needs the toilet 10 times a night after too much excitement), and situated right next to the static caravans instead of in the middle of the tourers which seemed a bit strange considering statics have their own facilities, the non EHU pitches on the outer fields were even further away. The the showers are only open between 8am and 8pm - not much good when you arrive back from the beach at 8.15pm needing to "hose" off, also husband managed to get sunburn at 8.30am standing in a very long queue for the showers for nearly an hour. Toilets were clean in the morning but looked decidedly grubby by afternoon - I just don't think they had enough staff, and finding a cubicle with toilet paper left in the evening became a bit of a game. One tip, when you enter the shower block, in the foyer there are 2 plug sockets high on the wall - people seemed to be using these to plug in their hairdryers and straighteners rather than paying for a built in hairdryer. Great outdoor areas for children to play - a large field, tennis court, enclosed play area, outdoor pool with small slides (lovely in 30 degree heat!). Good shop well stocked - again quiet far away from touring area which you would think would need to stock up more often than those with food storage facilities. The Funworks complex is great (if you like the whole Butlins style of entertainment - great for kids, not so good for parents bank balance) once again a good 10-15 minutes walk away (good job it wasn't raining) a free soft play area and indoor swimming pool, lots of very not-free arcade and slot machines (get kids to save up their 2ps and 10ps before you go!), there was a Burger King and Fish and Chip shop on site - but again they were woefully understaffed and understocked and it took an hour to be served - I hope they have more staff during school holiday time! We used the restaurant for our last day (just packed up the tent) breakfast and had good portions and very friendly service - not cheap but we deserved it after managing to pack everything before the 10am "clear off" deadline. The entertainment was good - the kids loved it - the poor entertainers didn't stop dancing - I think they must be on a boogie bonus. My kids wouldn't join the clubs but the children who did join seemed to be having a great time
All in all this is a very good site with plenty to do on site and not far from the very pretty walled town of tenby as well as lovely beaches and good attractions nearby - for the kids there is , folly farm and oakwood. I am happy to be taking my 2 weeks there in a month's time, and look forward to seeing some more of the surrounding areas - although I think if we didn't have the children my priorities would be different and I may choose somewhere not so commercial.

Good value for the price £44.50 for 5 nights with E.H.U. in May. The pitches were large and well kept and the shower/toilet block was clean and had a full time attendant. The site has easy access to a very good clean beach, and a good pathway into town.

Spent a weekend here last summer as a group of friends were going. It would not have been our first choice being very large - we prefer smaller, quieter parks. This felt a bit like a camping factory. We didn't venture to the outdoor pool or try many of the facilities prefering to make our own entertainment but we did try the indoor pool. We weren't very impressed as the changing rooms were dirty and smelt horrible and the pool itself was nothing to write home about. This site would be OK if you like big, commercialised places with lots of facilities for kids, a club house, etc. but it just wasn't our cup of tea.

Well what can I say, the price worked out at about £30 a night which I thought wasn't too bad for a site with all the extras included. As we were traveling with children we thought it to be a good idea at the time. How wrong I was. Check in was very good it all went down hill from there though, we were told to go to the Poppy feild and just pitch our tent anywhere. Well my tent is a very big one and trying to find a spot on what was a summer over flow feild was very difficult. We eventually found a spot and after settling in we found out that the nearest toilet block was quite a long way off. Not only that the water points were also a long way off too.
Then to top it all off the shower block closed at 8pm leaving a comunual outdoor shower or a single cubical shower for the whole of the touring fields. Washing up was also a nightmare as the sinks for that were a long way off also. This site would have been much better it the pitches were well marked and the washing and toilet faclities were better thought about. If I would have known in advance that we were to be in an over flow feild I would never have gone.

Stayed on this site because it was on offer (£50 for 3 nights). We were on the overflow field which only had one portaloo and a porta-shower between hundreds of people. Surprisingly they didn't get too busy but they did get dirty / flooded very quickly. It would have been much better if they were regularly cleaned.
It wasn't too noisy, but it could have been given the number of teenagers there.
If you have kids and you like Butlin style entertainment (tacky duets on the the X Factor come to mind) then it would have been great value - especially if you have young kids.
If you don't want the entertainment then the normal price won't be good value - you'd be better elsewhere.
For us, we can't complain given the price, although my wife has ordered that we find a quieter site with cleaner toilets next time.
Incidentally we loved Tenby - it has loads of character and the trip to Caldey Island was worth every penny.
The site is a short 5 min drive from the centre of Tenby - where the multi-storey car park was very reasonable (I think £2 for the day). Just don't drive in when you have a couple of mountain bikes on the roof-rack, as one guy did when we were there!

August 2005 Really enjoyed our hols here, but we didn't visit the Funworks much, bit too noisy, but kids had a great time. we had a good position near the shower blocks, but some fields were a long way away,if possible ask to be put in "poppyfields". I must say I felt for the cleaning staff, who battled with, dirty campers, I mean by leaving their rubbish in the sinks area. God knows what people got up to through the night, but the toilets had seats broken and toilet roll every were, ignoring requests not to use certain areas that the staff had cleaned. Well done to all the staff who worked hard to keep the place clean. Camp site can get quite noisy at night after chucking out time in the club. Having said all that I would return. I think maybe high season you must expect some of that

July 2005 Wow I never get fed up of this park it's my third time this year, been in all weather (camping basic pitch) rain, sleet, but this time every day for a week sun. Spent a fortune with having 3 small children but worth every penny, entertainment was brill but be warned new craze pin badges that cost £1.49 each and there are 100 to collect, buy from the local shop then if your lucky a fun star will swap for a gold one limited edition. Will say toilets really clean, staff really helpful (charged my mobile thanx). Overall everything went good, will be going back next month.

August 2004 Electric tent pitch, 3 kids, 2 adults, 1 week, trailer tent, very good with very clean toilet / shower blocks. (onsite cleaners 8am>8pm!) Good sized pitches (electric) very quick checkin drive though style (less than 2 mins, no waiting around!!) 3 very happy kids, top site for the kids. very good shows in the main show bars (peak summer), loads to do in and out of the site. Very large stocked on site mini-market (no silly prices as well) Even though we had 2-3 nights of very heavy rain(some of the site flooded) we had a very good holiday. Good site for families with kids. Mobile, 24 hour on-site security vans always around! 2 large clean beaches on your door step. Booked for summer 05 for 2 weeks!!! Well worth checking out.....

August 2004 Visited Kiln Park originally 16 years ago and a little wary about going back. However, pleasantly surprised. We have a tent and paid for a superior pitch (so we could join caravanning friends), this was well worth it having our own electric hook up and tap. I would not have liked to have been in the camping fields - these are a long way from the showers / toilets and the pitches are not marked out, (not quite sure how fire regulations work on those pitches). However, apart from the weather and the water logged pitch (hey this is the British summer), we had a good time. Showers/toilets excellent, good facilities for kids (ours between two families ranged from 4 to 15). Indoor pool and outdoor pools excellent. Restaurant on site - good food when finally arrived - took and hour. I felt sorry for the staff who worked hard but there were not enough of them. Will visit again earlier in year. Lovely walks into Tenby, the beach and across the sand dunes - nice golf course to cross as well. Tenby is pedestrianised between 11am and 4 pm this is excellent. Pembrokeshire coast is beautiful - make sure you vist Manorbier.
