Absolutely love Kiln Park - it's a great place for families with children - all the staff are friendly and keep the kids well entertained. They have a shop on site that is reasonably priced - also plenty of places to eat. I've stayed here twice now and both times the caravans are well cleaned with all kitchen essentials. All staff are friendly and polite and really helpful. If there is a problem they will jump to sort it which is nice so you can just relax and enjoy. The evening entertainment is good for all ages - it starts with children's entertainment then at ten will have adult entertainment. There is a park on site - also a little play center inside which kept my kids entertained for hours. The pool was lovely and warm with other activities if you wish to take part. The beach and town is a little walk away. Lovely place - will definitely be coming back.

Just returned from kiln park. Excellent proximity to beach and Tenby. Amenities good. Only negative would be the tent field like a mud bath. We stayed in a tent there 4 years ago and got flooded and they still haven't addressed problem. After that experience we got a caravan. First time back there and on hard standing which was great. We had a good deal with price so all in all well worth it.

The best thing about this site is it's closeness to the beach and Tenby town which we enjoyed very much, there is a good choice of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as the usual seaside trades. We enjoyed a trip by boat to Caldney Island which was lovely and peaceful.
The site it's self is large with facilities to match. The site accepts camper vans but does not have a specific area for them. Unless you opt for a grass pitch with the tenters you are likely to be surrounded on all sides by large caravans with massive awnings. It would be a good idea to use one of the lanes for vans. There is no rollover emptying point and the super pitch drainage again is designed for caravans.

We've stayed many times at Kiln over the last decade, and seen many changes. As a Haven holiday park it's always been dominated by static berths. But the amount of room available for tents has vastly diminished in favour of Haven's own 'safari' tents, and electric pitches. Only one field now accepts tents, though it's reasonably big.
The toilet and shower block is much improved since our last visit.
The main appeal though for this site is its proximity to the beach, on which you can walk to Tenby/Dinbych y Pysgod regardless of tide. There's plenty to see and do in town if holiday camp entertainment doesn't float your boat.

It was my first time in Tenby and also at Kiln Park. The resort was quiet as Welsh school holidays are different to Stockport. So, we had the field to ourselves which was good as we were camping.
The toilet block was immaculate as was the washing up area. I didn't do the entertainment so can't comment on that.
The warden was very friendly and a nice fellow.
The centre of Tenby is lovely. Very quaint. Also Pembroke Dock area was good for shopping.
The only negative was the extra charges which you had to pay if you wanted to take part in any activities at the park. I think the only free activity was swimming.
This site is well worth a try!

What a fantastic site. Perfect for campers with kids as there are so many free activities. Mini Football, swimming pools (in and outdoor), nature courses, arts and crafts; as well as all the entertainment in the evening. We have a VW camper and the pitches are clean, flat and very spacious (enough for camper, awning and space to set out tables/chairs. Must mention the shower block which is possibly the best we've experienced. Spotlessly clean and very well designed. OK, a campsite like this isn't for everyone, but if you've got kids to keep amused then this site is perfect. 10 mins walk from South Beach and 20-30 walk into Tenby. If you join the Haven email list they send you some amazing deals.

Stayed on Kiln Park for 3 weeks in Oct found it to be a very nice site, lovely and flat, plenty of space on the hard standing pitches, showers were beautiful like being at home, plus heated for October, spotlessly clean, plenty of sinks/toilets, sufficient showers.
Very quiet site, but felt it could have benefited from a warden.
We hadn't any children but there isn't a play area within touring field, although the park isn't that large and there is one one the main run into the site. Our only annoyance was the distance to do a shop being there for 3 weeks we needed to use a supermarket, the nearest was 22 miles away. There is a spar on site but very expensive. Fantastic area if you are into history and some lovely places/coastal areas to visit and Tenby is a 10 minute walk from the site so you don't need to use the car. We enjoyed it so much we've booked another month next year, and would recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet/relaxing holiday, and a clean site.

Very big was our first thoughts as we headed for the reception to check in. The staff were friendly and very helpful; drawing a route on the map to show how to get to our pitch which was needed as it was a long way from all the shops and facilities. The park has everything you need to keep children entertained, the main area having food outlets, an arcade, bar and a club which were all very popular and very well maintained, but the outside areas were looking a little bit run down and tired, could be because it was in October. Not somewhere we would go again but would recommend to people with children.

A large busy site, all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The shower and toilet block were clean although several in the gents were marked 'out of order', it was quite smelly at times outside around this area from, the extractor fans, not nice for the nearby pitches.
There is a Spar on site, although you pay for the convenience.
We were in the tent overspill field which was busy but not overcrowded, our friends were on a motorhome pitch. The electric hook up pitches for tents, and the motorhome pitches do seem well packed in, and your not far from your neighbour in the static caravans. Only one car per pitch is allowed, any others in your group have to be left in one of the car parks around the site.
About 5 to 15mins walk to the beach, depending where on the site you are, from there you can get into Tenby town.
Plenty for children to do and room to play, lots of little ones using the site roads for scooters and bikes, with vehicles regularly going in and out the risks are obvious.
Unfortunately during our stay a large family close by were in domestic dispute which they were 'discussing' with lots of high volume foul language which continued until 2am the first night, and resumed the next morning, they left next day. The seagulls also start their 'alarm call' and site scavenge around 5am !
Apart from that an enjoyable stay, but I think the site is too expensive, and not somewhere I will return.

A really nice site and hard to fault really. Very easy to locate and access. The pitches were well laid out (even though maybe a little close to your neighbours if its busy). The toilet, shower and washing facilities were modern, lovely and clean. I loved how the showers looked like little beach huts. Access to the beach was on the other side of the campsite but it doesn't harm to burn a couple of extra calories. More room for ice cream then. The beach was lovely. Lots of room to sunbathe (we saw the sun. In Wales!) or play. Access to the town centre is either a 10 minute walk down the beach or a path that runs parallel with the train line. There's lots of entertainment and things to do for the whole family really. A good play area for kids and both indoor and outdoor pools. Everything you'd expect from a large site of this type. Loved it.
