Having been wary of using Haven sites before but taking a relatives recommendation we booked 4 nights mid week for a short break. After along drive and arriving late at 10. 30 pm the security guys were extremely helpful and guided us to our pitch in the top field, explained where all the services were located and wished us a pleasant stay.
We were surprised to see just how busy the site was in the morning but not noisy. Have nothing but praise for the toilet and shower block which was very clean and ample supplies of hot water for showers and washing up infact mind your hands whilst washing dishes water very hot. The whole site was very clean and any staff we met were always pleasant and polite. Used the club bar for a meal and drinks one evening food very good and beer prices no more than I have paid in Tenby itself. We took our two dogs with us and it was nice to find a dog friendly beach nearby and an area of the site where we could let our dogs of the lead in this very pleasant meadow area.
Sorry for rambling a bit but I have to say overall one of the very best large sites we have been on and will definitely be going back later in the year

This is a Haven site. It is very well kept, nice clean toilet and shower block cleaners are there quite frequently. Nice flat pitches, with plenty of room. We stayed over Easter and it wasn't overly busy. Good facilities, shop, gift shop, clubhouse with entertainment. Slot machines on way in, swimming pool. Clubhouse is a little pricey but as you would expect at a Haven site. Really had a lovely time here, entertainment for kids was really good. We paid a fraction of the price taking our van than we would have paid to stay in a static van on a Haven site. Would definitely be returning.

First came here way back in 1960, and last visited in 1972, so expected to see a few changes.
I wasn't disappointed, and what a great site it has developed into!
Well laid out, very friendly and helpful staff.
Loads of hard standing pitches with plenty of space for awning and off-road parking by your caravan.
Huge toilet block, with an abundance of hot water, plenty of loos / showers / wash basins etc and hair dryers.
Loos kept clean and tidy, it is the dirty user who leaves them dirty, and not the fault of the site.
Beech is only 1/4 mile stroll away along the path through the sand dunes, whilst Tenby town is a 15 minute stroll along a different path.
Take care over the 'Kiln Park' sleeping policemen!
A few are of the very short sharp jolt type.
You can clearly see scuff marks on them from previous encounters with A-frames, and although I crept over slowly, mine still bottomed out. Not a happy chappy!
Overall though, a great campsite, in an excellent location and with plenty to keep you busy.
We had 4 nights, super hard standing pitch (electric / TV /water pylon) and clubhouse passes for just £40 - what isn't there to like.
Looking forward to coming back soon.

Stayed for one night (Saturday 5th October) there are no touring wardens at the site this late in the season which doesn't make much sense as you have to find a place to park at the main reception, which with a motorhome is not too bad but with a caravan it could be problem! then you have to find your own pitch from a map you are given at reception. We didn't use the toilet facilities when we were at the site so can't comment on them but we did use the 'entertainment facilities' There was a long wait to get served at the bar as there were only two people serving and no sort of queue, it took 15 minutes to get a drink, we ordered food which we had when we stayed at the beginning of the season and was very good - this time a different story! the food was greasy cold and of poor quality the Gammon steak was more like a bacon rasher and as for the surf & turf 4 shrimps in a really greasy batter with a good steak ?
The toilets in the Mash & Barrel (Bar/restaurant) were really disgusting with no hand soap and FIVE air fresheners to try and hide the stench! (my partner said the ladies were just as bad!)
Plus points - great for access to the beach and Tenby
Cheap pitches at the beginning and end of season
Minus points - very expensive food & drink
Worth staying if you don't intend using the entertainment facilities (except the swimming pool which looked great)

We were a bit apprehensive about this site, we have 2 kids but usually avoid Haven sites as we expect them to be loud and rowdy. What a pleasant surprise. The site was packed and we were never disturbed by noise by day or night. The site for tourers is made up of small cul-de-sacs which seems to work really well - difficult to get a 24ft van into though when all the other pitches were full! As others have said the ground is very rough and hard. It was also very much lacking in grass being the end of the season and having spent many months being covered up.
Toilet block was brand new and really good, very busy and only had to queue one or, twice.
Great location close to the beach and Tenby is as always great for a family holiday.

Stayed here at the start of July so we had great weather for our four nights. The shower block/toilets are five star and a credit to Haven for renewing them for 2013, money well spent. Great selection of food at the Entertainment Complex which is great for keeping the kids amused and a great park for them as well. South beach is a short walk off the park and Tenby town 10-15 mins walk. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. The only negative is the ground is very hard so getting the pegs in can prove difficult but not sure what could be done to rectify this. We will definitely return.

We camped here the May Day Bank Holiday weekend (Fri-Mon) and stayed on the electric hook up field. We were with 2 other families and had pre-arranged that we be sited next to each other.
The site is really tidy and Wardens Jim and Ceri were very helpful.
As mentioned in other reviews the ground is very stony and you would benefit from taking a claw hammer or lump hammer to get the pens into the ground. I wanted to put up Windbreakers but I simply could not get these into the ground and for the Fri/Sat and Sun the winds were quite strong so they would have probaby blown down anyway. I did not see any other campers with windbreakers either!
The toilet/shower/amenities are immaculate as they have recently been refitted. The showers (free) were lovely and hot and hair dryers were free as well. For a bank holiday weekend the site was rather busy but I never had to wait to use a shower.
As with all Haven sites and similar holiday camps the entertainment is very family themed and, to some, may be a bit repetitive as it is aimed at younger children but that didn't stop my 15 year old having a dance every night!
Also for teenagers there is free wi-fi to be had in the Mash and Barrel. The meals in there were reasonably priced and when the food was brought to your table was very good value for money and tasty.
My daughter enjoyed the pool and arcade areas.
The Spar shop in the middle of the complex was quite well stocked if not a bit pricey but that is always the case for this type of complex so I had brought some provisions with me to see me through part of the weekend. There is also a Spar Shop on the entrance to Kiln Park and a petrol station.
The site allows dogs but they must always be kept on a lead. My friends brought 2 dogs and me and my daughter took them on the beach and then walked into Tenby town which has most of the shops you would see in a small town centre - for the grocery shop there is a Tesco Express. On this particular weekend there was a scooter rally and it was fab seeing hundreds and hundreds of scooters and their riders.
Apart from walking into Tenby we didn't venture further afield as we were only there for a weekend and I wanted a break from driving.
I don't think I have any criticisms of this site but I am easily pleased.

We can visit Kiln Park out of season because we have no small children, its an ideal site to visit, walking distance to the sandy beach which when tide allows you can walk into town. This year the toilet/shower blocks have had a make over (much needed too) we stayed there the 1st day they had opened so there were a few teething problems, probably resolved by now! With your camping fees there is free entry into the leisure part, it has the nicest indoor swim area & changing rooms ive seen in a long time. Kiln park is a lovely site to visit, for all ages!will be there again in October no doubt!

We booked a Haven site because we wanted to try a commercial site where our children could be entertained, even if the weather was not great. There was entertainment every evening (none in the day if you didn't swim) and the pool was lovely (newly refurbished).
Our experience with customer service was not great. I arrived with the kids about an hour before my partner arrived with the caravan. We went to 'tourer check-in' and were told we could not park our car on the pitch until the caravan arrived. Fair enough. When I asked the man what could we do or where we could go in the meantime (we had never been to a Haven resort before), he said 'I don't know' and pretty much dismissed us.
As the week progressed, we found the bar staff and pool staff were not friendly or helpful with a kind of 'couldn't be bothered' attitude. The security team was much more friendly and helpful.
The reason that we will not go back is that anywhere which was not new or refurbished was dirty. The shower block was filthy with cleaners who looked busy but left the showers just as dirty as before they were cleaned. The toilets in the pub area (Mash & Barrell) were cleaner but very smelly (especially the mens which you could smell as you passed the entrance to go to the ladies); none of the soap dispensers worked. In the shower block, out of 16 soap dispensers, 1 worked. On day 4 of our 7-day stay, they provided some free standing soap dispensers.
You expect better from a chain this big that tells you they are the best but it was very disappointing indeed.

Stayed here for a weekend break.
It was our first time camping which is why we chose a Haven site. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Didn't use the entertainment facilities so can't comment on these.
Toilets / showers were kept clean and plenty of them.
Tenby area is beautiful. You can walk in to Tenby from the site.
Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to family & friends.
